In a simple way of explaining

Hiv is a virus that destroys the cd4 cells that produces antibodies against infectious microbes.

while AIDs is not a disease but the manifestation (syndrom) of different infections casued by opportunistic microbes.

ones the cd4 is low and the viral load is high the human body would be like a central bank filled with cash but without a door and security you know the rest of the story

but regular use of your drugs would not allow further replication of the virus which then stops the destruction of cd4 cell and allows the production of new ones to compensate for the destroyed ones

Ones you use your drugs regularly your cd4 count would be good and your viral load starts reducing. Ones your viral load is less than 10, even with unprotected sex with your partner who might be negative won't be infected (if he doesn't have open sore on his magic stick). And also there is a new drug for hiv that reduces the viral load to undetectable within three months of constant use. With the new drug most hospital (due to the common method being used. Won't go in details) would give negative results for positive patients on the new drug. So many bragging or discriminating PLWHA would end up getting married to some. Well, one would hope they are practicing under supervision of an already experienced person, but most of the experienced and very talented doctors, just branch out on their own, the ones we eventually get remaining in the hospitals are poor quality ones, in my experience.



Since, they are not paid well in Nigeria. I don't have to tell you that many top quality Nigerian doctors practice abroad or open their independent practice to end the big bucks to feed their families.

This is my observation, I am not saying, that banning them is bad but there will be consequences. For every action, they will be a reaction. That's why, I believe that policies must be adapted to in different countries to fit their situations.

There would definately be an experienced doctor on ground who is not all about the low pay but sees saving lives as a priority. Let those that want to leave leave. You'll be amazed at the changes for the better that would happen.

Don't worry when the time is right you will see the doctors that refuses to listen being disgraced because i'll be among those witch hunting them.

The experienced doctors ones used patients as experiment to gather the experience they brag about. Let the new doctors enjoy the same privilege.

It won't solve anything cos the doctors will just transfer ownership of their hospitals to relatives, spouses or children. So how does that solve d problem?

Who's license is the new owner going to use if i may ask? The next is to do is stop them from being medical directors as well because they lack the managmentaril skills. That's why you will see sticks used as drip stand.

If this is true, this is the only good thing i can say he did well. I wish he does the same for all public workers.

I experienced something similar years back. She was 23 and wanted to settle down while i needed 3 years to run a program to make our standard of living better than what she was seeing. I told her to wait that she was still young but she refused and broke up with me and got married to a guy in a space of 7 month.
