.....LOL!

No wonder ZeroHag won plenty trophies with them.
Same players finished top 10 last season then we added another 5 during the window. None for this excuse will fly.

Preach, brother.

Preach!

However, it's even worse than how you projected it if you consider the fact that useless clubs like Wolves, Crystal Palace, Fulham etc are ahead of us on the table.

Pooor poor pooor performance from Amorim and the lads!
Can't you see they have players that will start for Madrid and Barcelona.

.......let me even analyse the stoopid squad; we don’t have GKs, none is good enough or reliable.

Defense; Dalot, Maguire, Licha, Lindelof, Shaw, Evans must go and be replaced.

Midfield; Casemiro, Ugarte, Bruno and Mainoo need to go and be replaced.

Attacker: Højlund, Garnacho, Mount, Rashford, Sancho must be shipped first moment transfer window opens.
No matter how you try to twist the narrative. At the very least this is a top ten squad.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Bombblacks: 10:17pm On May 16, 2025
Toothless performance, no attacking threat and defensively vulnerable.

Gyokeres is my top choice for that striker role.

I really rate Mbeumo too—efficient, direct, exactly the kind of player who would join Newcastle, start performing immediately, and everyone would be wondering why we weren’t in for him. If the fee’s around £50 million then good. I don't rate Semenyo that much.

We have seen both Tielemanns and Calhanoglu put up good performances in the PL and UCL respectively then. Even Dumfries was good with the Netherland.

I only properly watch Cherki against us in the quarter and brother, that guy is very mid. Apart from the goals he scored, I can't even point out one thing he did.

Please don't compare Tielemanns that was balling out in Leicester to Cherki.
Apart from scoring in both legs, creating 8 key passes in both games(Bruno and Garnacho created 4 each during both legs) and completing 7/13 take ons he was very very mid.

All we need is a ticket to the UCL, that's where the money is...At this point, finishing a position or two higher is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Let the players use the remaining games to build fitness for those who need it.
Look at the standard we have fallen to.

He's a treble winner and about to win a double with an equally weak Barca team according to the previous gaffer. Go and check what Xavi said about this same team and why he got fired.

Flick is good. He's proven himself at the highest level possible.
Two truths can co exist. Flick is superb and Madrid are also terrible.

Xavi isn't beating this Madrid 4 times in a row including two finals. Not happening.

Yes, Wolves have better players - Pereirra has been able to prove it to us since he joined in December.
This was the league table when Eth was sacked. Wolves were in the relegation zone with two points now they are 2 points above us. If Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester were not terrible, we would have actually been in a relegation tussle.

Try and watch match. Stop using livescore.
I watched both games. Arsenal had more shots, possession, corners, touches in our box, higher xG, same number of big chances.

Real Sociedad had more possession, same amount of shots, 2 big chances to our zero, more corners, higher xG etc

So pray tell how we were the better team.

Notice how Liverpool made 7 changes and lost comfortably agaisnt this rubbish Chelsea team. Thos was almost the same team that Slot fielded versus Plymouth and lost.
But some people want Amorim to use Fredricson, Amass, Bayindir, Chido Obi and dead legged Eriksen, Mount and Shaw and win Brentford away.

If I talk now they will say I am belittling other people just because they are making their points. But you sef check the points you are making, how does it make sense to you?
Even if he had used his best 11 it's likely we would have still lost going by his record. We have one win in our last 7 league games and that was against a relegated Leicester.

Wow, we played agaisnt Arsenal 11 vs 11 and we were the better team.

We played agaisnt Sociedad away 11-11 and we were the better team.

We played away to Lyon 11 vs 11 and was winning until Onana gave away a goal.

Agaisnt Bilbao who has the best defence in la liga we were 2-0 up before the red card. So how does that translate to winning due to 10 men.
I have been watching how many people's talk here about the team and the manager, all I can do is to just laugh.
In what universe did we play better than Arsenal and Real Sociedad away?

But many people questioned the deal immediately the news broke out. Its not a 2 years thing. Almost everyone felt the same back then. This was not a youngster or someone we haven't seen before. Many questions were asked back then, from his skillset to the cost, especially as he was injury prone and had only one year left on his contract
Read the post again. Maybe I should highlight the key part to help you out.

Bombblacks:
IF a coach makes clear a particular signing is his priority and the club gets it for him then whatever happens next his own the coach. Not 2 years later people like you will start blaming the management for getting the coach shitty players or saying the profile is not what we needed when the coach asked for him specifically.

It doesn’t matter if ETH believed he needed Mount or not, spending 60m on an injury prone player with one year left on his contract makes little sense
No one is asking if the price was high or not. Was ETH backed with a player he felt was crucial to his set up? You keep ignoring the main genesis of the discussion. You said he was not the profile the coach needed despite the man in charge specifically asking for that particular player.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Bombblacks: 2:03pm On May 02, 2025
TheLequte:
Stop dribbling yourself.

Some transfer moves are a no-no no matter how much you dress them up. Apart from not having a profile that suits the team, 60m for an injury prone Mount with a year left on his contract doesn’t make any sense.

So, even if he is the right profile, a management with sense should not agree to the deal even if the coach is saying the player is crucial to their plans. That’s where the Glazers and recruitment department are at fault.

Back the manager doesn’t mean back his stvpid decisions too. Or how do you explain 80m for Antony?
You are just typing for argument sake.

If a coach wants a player that means he thinks the players suit his set up. I don't know why you keep repeating the absurd line of not having the profile the team needs like you were in charge of the team. Mount signing is on ETH and him alone.

Was donut midfield the new set up he needed Mount for ?

You and ETH should be jailed.
All these things you are typing are irrelevant and shallow. Did ETH specifically want Mount because he believed he was critical to his set up. Yes or No? That's the point we are talking about while you are beating around the bush.

Some coaches are very poor at identifying talent. While this doesn’t make them bad, hiring coaches with such flaws and handing them a blank cheque doesn’t sound like a wise decision.

But I guess that didn’t occur to you.

If not for Wilcox we would’ve signed Amrabat and his heavy nyansh on a permanent move.

I’m saying that the manager no get sense. With the way he played in his first season, ETH’s set up has no profile in the mould of Mason Mount.
Did Eth tell you he was going to repeat the same set up? Coach said he needed mount for his set up you are saying he was not the profile. You know more than the person that created the set up.
