I'm yet to understand something.
Since NB has been 22 I keep placing trades but it never gets filled.
I placed at 24.4, no way. @26.8, no way.
Those are the opening prices. Until today, I placed @29.45, then it got filled. Maybe it will close there.
Sir, please what trading platform do you use? And do you do this yourself or have to send "buy" mandates to your broker?

Market can be really funny. Same people who bought Zenith at 15.90 don't want to buy it at 14.35.

Market is somehow today.....but the good thing was that the big caps didn't fall, only the banking stocks mostly.
We see how it goes tomorrow, God willing......
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by seyisanya(m): 2:42pm On Apr 16, 2020
Did anyone notice the interesting price movements today? Almost all banks were badly hit while other sectors flourished. The beauty of a well-diversified portfolio!

Possible in BUA but i doubt same for GTB. The banking index is doing the expected.

I expected the banks to reverse their losses later in the day. Let's see how it trades tomorrow.

Oga Oracle, see what Nigerian Breweries share price has been doing. 10 10% since last week.
Why is nobody talking about this?
Sis Mcy, you've been dodging this stock.

Na the usual move be that.

It was due to do 10 10%.

Most people should have it on their portfolio. It is currently on 30% gain.

I use ARM stocktrade.
But I got an answer to my dilemma already; never chase a moving train. Though it wasn't moving at first when I bought @ 22.
When I then woke up to buy more, it became something else. I keep placing the trade at the open price. For where, before I say jack, it's full bid at the close price. Painful!
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 2:56pm On Apr 16, 2020
I know why you saw it that way; the retracement in NSEBNK is actually TEMPORARY but will last a few days, so next week will see a reversal. This is what I see though, its over to the market.

NESTLE on full bid on a red day, while ZENITH does the exact opposite. Interesting!

Banks will make a sharp move higher. 10 10% things.

A breakout is loading for the NSE index.

I expected it today.

Means you've not been following the discussions here as such.
When NB fell to around 24 or so, oga Oracle mentioned that it should get to around 22+ or thereabout, and that it will be good for pick at that junction......not the exact word.
Pa Emma also said something positive about it.
I equally echoed it and also mentioned it to someone. Can't search for the post now.
Some good info do come in thru jokes and normal postings, make Una dey read all but sift it. smiley

No mind Atere.

You don't need to wait for Trump. Austria, Spain have started work. China and South Korea started long before them. It shows that the health crisis phase has passed. Investors have anticipated this and positioned accordingly.

Soon everybody go well. grin grin

WAPCO faithfuls: the market is only doing its usual retracement, after which it would most likely move higher than previous; so don't despair. I would join you guys then.
when is the markdown date for wapco?

I agree on this with you. when I checked the banking charts (especially GTB & Zenith) yesterday, I saw a pullback but wasn't expecting this massive. It will continue tomorrow.

The breakout Oracle is talking about will be likely month end early may.

Why is their own case so different?

In UK, the test is only done to make the diagnosis. They don't repeat the test after symptoms resolve to declare the person negative.

So there's only the data for diagnosis and none for recovery...

Guess it's in a bid to ensure the testing capacity available is deployed in the most judicious way...
