Is it not lack of water, light, classromms and poverty that causes 419,Bank fraud, Oil bunkering and Yahoo Yahoo ?? These people are a confused bunch. .they should tackle the problem fromthe source before the surface.

Mr SBO from aussie, I regret to inform you that youre wrong and momodu is right. . Our people are so frustrated with their inadequaciesand lack of progress hindered by anon-working system that the mere sight of a big man gone down gives them a sigh of relief and temporary escape. .This is why the EFCCwould use the mdia to proclaim a suspect guily until proven innocent so the image of that suspect is already laundered and bastardized long before he is paraded before a judge in a court of law.

It was used by ribadu , used by sanusi now and used by waziri. . .Our people love the drama.Theyve come to realize this so hey mudsling and use the media and all other means necessary to tarnish your name and image as badly as they can before your first court date.

Nigerians love the fall. .they celebrate the rise, but they love the fall more.Makes less successful people feel better about themselves.MOmoDU is very right.

From what i gather, ministry officials from other states come to lagos to understudy their waste management and sanitation technques and programs. . I hear they even hosted a powerful delegation of five ministers from ghana not too long ago.

I admire the government of lagos because unlike others they think. .They dont attaack challenges by trying to research what the others did. They have established themselves as pace setters in Nigeria and indeed the rest of Africa in meeting up with modern challenges.

Lagos no longer even holds lagos summits but West African summits. .Lagos satte is mature enough to be a republic in itself.

Afaukwu,do you disagree? with a Port, massive IGR drive ,industries, possibility of oil, etc
PoliticsRe: Fashola To Run For Governorship Of 6+ States In Next Election. by bombsquad(m): 9:18pm On Aug 25, 2009
Afaukwu it appears you dont know lagos too well. . .The money allocated lagos from Abuja is no longer commensurate with the population and the level of development a megacity like lagos is needed to maintain. .Lagosians pay a lot as tax to enable the govt keep the city standard and take it to the first world level the world expects of it. . .Lagos is equating itself with First world cities and can no longer harbour beggars and miscreants that have no known address or place to call home.Hence the brilliant idea to resettle them to their hometowns where they have accomodation.

What is wrong with that? Do you see beggars on the streets of london? A Leader has to be dynamic and spontaneous to cope with fresh challenges. .Change is difficult. .but my friend Afaukwu, change has come to lagos and indeed would soon spread to the rest of Yoruba land.

Can you indeed say change has come to the SE?

Afauwku : The two people and states(Oyo and Ogun) youre using to chastisize the yoruba race are PDP ticket holders and i can only conclude that hanging around the People's Demonic party for too long and have become accustomed to their ways. . .Do you hear of any shrines in lagos? A few days back a whole deputy speaker was impeached in lagos . .do you see any fireworks?the atmosphere is stillpeaceful as though nothing happened. . it is because we dont indulge in do or die activities like the SE. We are peaceful and highly civil. If lagos were a country by itself,we would only be equated with the likes of Singapore,Brazil and other fast rising societies.

Can you say the same of any South eastern state my brother?

Afaukwu:
Answer the questions and stop blabbing. Why do you guys kill yourselves for political reasons?
Afaukwu, answer me this. . Did Orju kalu not kill Dr Chima Nwafor? Do they not use okija Shrine to annihilate political foes in the east? Why do all prospective office holders have to go and swear at Okija? Is it not true that when they die their body has to remain at the shrine forever where it is exploited to give wealth to others?

Does Orji kalu not have sex with his mother as a frequent ritual requested by okija chief priest? Why all these desperation in the east?

Yoruba's can be desperate but easterners are ready to die to defend office. .it's a shame. If we have an igbo man as president our emmission levels would be ridiculously high because of you people's penchant for doing businesses without standards, .Business by force. . do or die politics
PoliticsRe: Fashola To Run For Governorship Of 6+ States In Next Election. by bombsquad(m): 4:40pm On Aug 25, 2009

Do Yoruba love and trust themselves? Go ask Abiola, Diya, Shonekan and Obasanjo (June 12). Ask Awo and Akintola. Ask Oni and Fayose; ask Agagu and Mimiko; ask Akala and Ladoja. Then go ask Fashola who deported fellow Yoruba from parts of Yorubaland. Hypocrits.
No matter how yoruba's disagree, they will always reach a compromise. The language is powerful it carries a unifying undertone . but when igbo's war?only God can intervene. .Check Uba/Ngige, chris uba/Andy Uba. .Blood brothers who cant see eye to eye even till today because of power.it's that bad.Igbo's should forget presidency.even south south would smell it long before you
PoliticsRe: Fashola To Run For Governorship Of 6+ States In Next Election. by bombsquad(m): 4:06pm On Aug 25, 2009
@ Afauwku: I presume you are from the SE? Do you really expect to be trusted with the presidency when you people from the SE dont even trust and/orlove yourselves? You are tribalistic and sectarian amongst your tribes and states. You supress and look down on one another.Your governor's are always faced with internal sectarian battles and your region is hardly ever peaceful.

Recently we were faced with Ohakim/Orji kalu shaming themselves on the pages of apers.

Do you really think igbo's are ready for the presidency? Maybe in twenty years. . . you god folks need to get your act together first.

InvestmentDangote's 'five Point Agenda'as Nse President by bombsquad(op): 1:59pm On Aug 25, 2009
What is it with northerners and ambitous agenda's they fail to realise? First it was baba go slow President Yar adua with his failed seven point agenda and now it is NSE president Dangote with his Five point agenda. . God save us from this notherners who are hell bent on turning the entire country into theirs.

My ‘five-point agenda’, by Dangote
Distinguished Colleagues in Council, It is with great pleasure and humility that I accept your decision to become the 17th President of the Council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. I have no doubt whatsoever that without the conviction and support of all of you particularly that of the immediate past President Oba Otudeko and our great Director General who worked tirelessly for the last 10 days, I may not have become the President of The NSE. I want to sieze this opportunity to thank all of you immensely, particularly the Past Presidents of Council, our indefatigable Director General Professor Ndi Okereke-Onyuike, all Council Members, Stockbrokers, family, friends and well wishers who lavishly gave their support and encouragement to ensure that the proper thing is done and that the esteemed tradition of the Stock Exchange is pursued.

I have no doubt that my tenure as the President of the NSE will be tough and challenging especially because of the global economic downturn, its effect on our economy and our capital market. However I believe that these challenges will provide the opportunity for us to reposition our Stock Exchange and capital market to become the leading Stock Exchange in Africa for capital formation driven by TRANSPARENCY, innovation, efficiency and liquidity.

During my tenure as president I will be guided by the following 5 key themes.

• Transparency and improved governance of the market

• Improving the liquidity, turnover and size of the market

• Enhancing market efficiency by ensuring clearer and updated rules, processes and procedures

• Provision of world class infrastructure and technology for our market

• Massive capacity building and rapid skill enhancement of the staff of the Stock Exchange and investor education

The effects of the global financial meltdown and the subsequent massive outflow of investments from our stock market led to a precipitous slide in the value of securities in our market. This has greatly shaken confidence in the market. One of my main tasks will be to begin to restore the confidence of our battered and disillusioned investors once again in the market. This will be accomplished by ensuring that we have a more open and fair market, improving the disclosure standards, forging a closer and better collaboration with other regulators particularly SEC (while still protecting the independence of the NSE). Our zero tolerance regime will be emboldened to ensure speedy penalties on operators who flout our rules. Our surveillance, compliance and enforcement units will be further strenghtened to ensure that they operate optimally. We will update our corporate governance rules not only for our listed companies but also for operators and the Council itself because charity must begin at home.

If the Stock Exchange and its dealing members must continue to remain viable economic units, we must make sure that we increase the liquidity and turnover in the market. One of my first missions will be to lead and intensify discussions with other relevant parties in the economy to put in place a plan to improve the liquidity and turnover in our market particularly in the secondary market. We have to discuss and agree on what to do with the ‘toxic assets’ in our market and very critically how to provide funding for our stockbrokers to refloat their businesses. If we are to compete with other market on the continent, then we have to begin aggressively marketing all the high quality companies in the sub region to make sure that they are listed in our market. I will make sure that we take very concrete steps to ensure that we further deepen and expand our market by introducing other products and attracting more investors. Working with the management of the NSE, I will make sure that we adhere to the timetable to dematerialize the market so that by January 2010 we do not have certificates in our market.

I will ensure that we strictly implement the ongoing enterprise business transformation exercise which is aimed at improving the efficiency in the operations of the market and update the entire business processes of the Stock Exchange. I am aware that the business transformation team is currently working on the detailed operating process for each business unit of the NSE. What is left is to ensure that market rules are reviewed, aligned and harmonized with issuance and trading practices and technology . Given the recent world wide experience, risk issues have now come to the fore in all markets. We have no choice than to increase our focus on ALL RISK issues that are likely to affect our market.

Our technology infrastructure will continue to be central in our competitiveness as a market, therefore starting today, we commence work to decide on the new technology platform which will take our market to the next level. It will include a world –class trading engine, a surveillance platform and all other features required for the efficient running of a capital market. I am aware that the management of the NSE has done a lot of work to improve the physical infrastructure and enabling environment of the NSE building in Lagos. I am informed that we have started fixing the power problems and the elevators in the building. The focus will now be to continue the renovation of the NSE building so that we can give a proper facelift in readiness for our golden jubilee celebrations in a few years time. Finally we will make sure that the security in the NSE building is improved upon and that we continually test our business continuity plans.

Since the stock exchange business is driven by skills and ideas our staff must at all times are abreast of development in global capital markets and stay ahead of the market they supervise. Therefore in line with the business transformation plan we will improve the competency level of every staff of the NSE. Council will approve a capacity building blueprint covering not only our staff but also other market operators before the end of the year.

We realize that investors have options on where they can invest their savings our challenge therefore is to ensure that our market is continuously competitive and attractive to investors and issuers alike.

My fellow colleagues the task of taking our markets to the next level will undoubtedly be quite daunting but I believe that with your cooperation and that of the management of the NSE In-sha Allah we will succeed. Once again I thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve.

It is now clear to me that instead of tuface to bow his head in shame and leave the stage,he has rather chosen to embark on a propaganda campaign and manipulation of facts without any concrete and direct responses to the proven allegations and crimes levelled against him.Moreso, the arrogance displayed in the use of words in the above press release and the obvious and deliberate praise singing of tuface idibia is a clear manifestation of jitters and panic in the tuface camp and how they are deperately trying to claim and forcefully attemting to crown tufraud with a position and a pedestal he has since lost. The KOKO master is now king whether or not they accept. It is what it is.

1.I was @ the SMVA and i make it bold to say that tufraud's perform was the worst. He failed to charm the crowd or move the crowd in any way.he was like an upcoming artiste struggling for acceptance.Im suprised they are here deceiving nigerians into thinking it was anything superb or even slightly above average.A performance with two ugly girls wearing red rubbing him all over,a performance where his voice was cracking up between ,a performance were tufraud's confidence was at an all time low having to perform after wande cole and dbanj who literally blew us all away and had us standing throughout their performance. It took long after the mohits performance for people to stop clapping and find their seats, Meanwhile while tuface was performing only about ten people were standing and paying attention while the ovation at the end of the performance was far from impressive. . . .I even wondered why he perfoemed that boring odogwu song as against other more lively songs like free and enter the place.

Tuface was dissapointing at the SMVA.No A.J to back him up,no nath to do the extra's on stage. tufraud looked really lost and skinny in his sleeveless top dangling over his body.

The worst of tufraud's occurences at the SMVA was when he won the best video award and when to sit down on the floor right infront of dbanj and don baba J in a fashion that spoke volumes like 'Don baba j,save me. . . My career is crumbling. Please lay your hands on me so that once again God can see me. . .'

2.As against this poster's title caption, there is no where in the facbook press release that it is said that tu and his crew are exploring possibilities to sue the free media reporting his fraudulent song atrocities. They would neevr do something like that because they know they'll lose. . .instead they pick on little komo who they know doesnt have the financial muscle or public goodwill and sympathy to go toe to toe with them in court. . .what a shame tufraud.Pick on someone your own size. . .Stop bullying people with your little money. You have built your career off stolen songs from r.kelly,OJB,Blackface,Komo and samini.Your stolen career fuled by a kennis music propaganda machine and supported by daarsat media  connections and financial largesse is now crumbling before your very eyes.and instead of bracing up by apologizing and giving us new songs you decide to tow the path of propaganda?pls who is advising you?

This prpopaganda path Tufraud has chosen cannot work. The people see beyond the charade and facade. It's time to come out clean and apologize to nigerians. . .they are quite a forgiving lot.Only then would you be able to move on in this siging carer of yours.Only then.and really,we all should be proud of channel o for not allowing sentiments get in their way of truthful journalism. If it were some nigerian media houses, they would call up tuface and directly inform him of a favor they would be doing by not publishing a story that has been clearly established to be the truth. . .but unlike some of our nigerian media houses, channel 0 has shown that there is truly still hope for the african media and continent at large by publishing the truth for the whole world to see and be aware of.because truth essentially is the purpose of journalism.

N.B.I hear you donated 1m naira for timaya to bury his late father.Im proud of you and your good ways.but change from the bad and apologize to nigerians.God be with you old friend.

PoliticsAregbesola Arraigned For Forgery Before An Abuja Magistrate Court. by bombsquad(op): 8:12pm On Aug 10, 2009
The Nigerian police today in Abuja arraigned opposition politician and Osun State Action Congress gubernatorial candidate, Rauf Aregbesola, for forgery before the Life camp Magistrate court judge, Kabiru Lamido. Aregbesola was arrested and detained by police last weekend and later released on "administrative bail" for ellegedly forging a police report presented to the elections petition tribunal.

Opposition politicians in the Action Congress (AC) have faulted police action against Aregbesola on the grounds that the allegations of forgery were cooked up by the police to frustrate his case before a fresh election petitions tribunal sitting in Osun state to decide on the fate of the current governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, who elections is being contested by the AC candidate.

First of all, those of you calling the name of Muiz Banire, is that not the current commissioner/minister of environment? Look at him proper and tell me he's not a drug smoking tout. Is that the kind of man you people want to rule the commercial nerve centre of Africa? Better be careful before the Gods unleash their wrath on you. Muiz Banire in the AC is like Gani Adams in OPC.
You should be ashamed of yourself, Is this the way to speak about our leaders and heroes who sacrifice time, peace of mind and family moments to make our standard of living better?            and why do you have this very lost impression that banire is a drug consumer?someone who is a devout muslim and doesnt even take ciggaretes or smoke alcohol?someone who has been commissioner twice but still drives around in a toyota corrola while his mates and even juniors have fleet of jeeps and expensive cars and houses in choice areas?

banire who would rather use his allowances to give people scholarships and financial support ?  Nex you should really be dissapointed in yourself.I dont mean any insults but i am friends with the PA to  governor fashola and i hear a lot about what goes on in government, Banire is always laughed at because he doesnt know how to spend and live the standard expected of a commissioner.but as i suspect all those things are trivial to him, He doesnt wear expensive clothes and wouldnt even hire a driver.when a driver is imposed on him the dont usually last a month. Most of the policies introdued by the governor are all his ideas and suggestions and the man is usually sick with a fever from too much hard work,

are most of the accolades accredited to the governor not achievements from banire's ministry?tree planting?beautification?dissapearance of floods?BRT which was conceived while banire was transport commissioner?the list goes on my people.

The man is a patriot and wants nothing more than the progress of lagos and the betterment of the standard of living of lagosians. It is because of this dedication, zeal, loyaltyand uncompromising financial discipline that asiwaju can be contemplating him to replace his compatriot Fashola.

Nex,such statements as you have made can never be said by a notherner about his fellow nothern leader, We in the south need to change this attitude.Instead of unity, adolation and praises,we rundown our heroes and wash our dirty linen in public leaving loopholes for the notherners to capitalize on.

FASHOLA AND BANIRE ARE BROTHERS WITH A VERY CLOSE RELATIONSHIP.WHATEVER DECISION ARRIVED BY THE PARTY WILL BE UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED CORDIALLY BY ALL.FASHOLA IS NOT EVEN POWER HUNGRY.JAKANDE WAS THERE FOR FOUR YEARS +AND ACHIEVED A LOT.   YOU DONT REALLY NEED TWO TERMS TO BE REMEMBERED.

Fashola is doing a good job but Muiz banire will turn lagos to london in two years. With zero experince before assuming office fashola is doing the best he can do but he would not have been able to do this much without people like banire behind him as i understand from inside sources that most of the brilliant ideas from fashola are actually banire's suggestions at the executive council meeting, if someone like banire is governor,In eight years lagos would become the standard and the reference for journalists and bookmakers. If Tinubu plans to annoint Banire in place of fashola in 2011 it would not be because fashola is at loggerheads with him but because he knows that banire has more experieince and the capapbility to perform far better in delivering dividends of democracy to the people and taking lagos to where the world wants it to be,

Banire's achievements while in the transport ministry have been impossible to match by subsequent commissioners, we all see how useless lastma has become, Banire's achievements in the environment ministry now are also phenomenal, with the tree planting movement, beautification, mass construction of drainages ,the wate mangement efficiency, lawma efficiency dueto his strict leadership, Banire is the messiah lagos needs to go from lagos to london within a tenure.

People with such experieince, dedication and zeal should be given a chance.I love fashola, but imexcited to see a lagos with banire's leadership.

I would like to contribute to this thread based on all i have observed so far to clarify this issue as far as i know.all for the sake of the truth, not intended to harm anyone.

1.City People has acknowledged they have a video and audio recording of the interview with R-kelly and are ready to to produce both in a court of law if Tu-face idibia wishes to challenge their claims.Hence, based on the legitimacy of the city people interview other blogs and magazines are able to recreate their own versions having been given access to the recorded interview materials in question.

2.It is not new in celebrity journalism to hear words such as INSIDER or 'A SOURCE' being used.It is done even on Foreign networks such as E entertainment and celebrity magazines of world standards, Anonymity in entertainment journalism is a tradition. The source which would be well known to tuface might not want to disclose his/her identity but at the same time would want the whole world to know the truth which is the essence of free and fair journalism.THE TRUTH.

3
.Mr Subair brokering the deal doesnt make the deal automatically legitimate. This is a country where Governors and even inspector general's of police have been handcuffed and dragged into security vehicles. Are we suppose to trust Subair because he owns HITV?It would do the nigerian public a lot of good if the documents used in brokering the deal were published in the media for all to see.

4.Kels as an artiste of international repute has probably taken pictures with over a million people. Is he suppose to remember every tom privates and harry who bumps into him at any event or eatery in Chicago for a picture??A picture is not enough in this case.I can go to NY take a picture which diddy as he steps out of justins, sample his work and claim it is legitimate, A picture cant work.

and really, what good is the picture when r-kelly has said in plain english he doesn't even know anyone by the name tuface idibia?.Pls answer us that one.

5
.Other interviews were done at different times when kelly was around .but it was only city people that had the intuition to ask about the tu-kelly supposed collabo. This even came about as a lot of worry and grief was aroused with tu-face's absence at the show, and as it is in the absence of a suitably organised press conference, one media outfit is allowed to go in and others may cull articles from their material.

6.Copies of the original song with shaggy were sold but you cant get that kind of copy which cleverly had shaggy's voices removed from the open market.Such kind of material are usually sourced from the internet.

7.Kels initially staing that the song was 'tapped from the internet' already makes clear that the material was stolen and used without permission. That also makes quite clear that he never in his life recorded a song with tuface.

8.Yes,Tuface from the get go should have told Nigerians he would be using a sample interpolation of r-kelly's song instead of misleading millions of nigerians into thinking he was going to be having a proper collaboration with full rights and authority from r-kelly.Also presenting a picture with r-kelly to further drive home his fraudulent claim.

9.If a deal was brokered by subair, why was a picture falsely presented to make it look like tuface brokered the deal or has a personal relationship with rkelly?and are we to continue to believe the same 2face camp that has been responsible for other song scandals such as the ones involving OJB,Samini, blackface and komoblastic?

10
.Millions of artistes all over the world sample the big names everyday, it's not new.it's even props to the big names.

It is necessary that Nigerians know the truth. It is unfair that tuface is trying to play on the intelligence of the people.
CelebritiesRe: Rkelly Denies Duet With Tuface Idibia by bombsquad(m): 3:02am On Jul 30, 2009
Tu-face is not new to song scandals so this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. From OJB to Blackface to Samini to Komoblastic and now most recently R-kelly,it is glaringly obvious that our boy has a penchant for wanting to profit from other people's sweat.History has proven this times without number and im sure it wont be too long before we hear another song scandal from what is now being termed idibia-gate.

People say R-kelly should sue tu-face?It is not a new thing for young upcoming and relatively unknown artistes to sample music from their idols.R-kelly has absolutely nothing to gain from suing tuface because that will only give tu a big break and international acclaim which is what R-kelly would be trying to prevent. Also he would look mean and cruel suing a relatively unknown and rising african act from a third world country to court.

I hear that city people has challenged tuface to take them to court over the matter. They are ready to provide both audio and video recording of the r-kelly interbiew in a court of law.

I feel very bad for tuface, this seems like trouble.

Where is bamsyle??the boy has thrown in the towel, better for him, to save his boy tu from further bashing and embarrasment,

Bamsyle mentioned African Queen as one of tu's achievements?a song that was stolen from blackface of which there a hard lne battle before blackface got his proceeds, Tu has a history for defrauding people and is always under a false illusion he can get away with it,

My job here s to expose tufraud so that you all will see him for who he truly is, and when im done ?millions of nigerians will understand.

Bamsyle has left the party, but worry not my people i will continue my revelations here and even in the much larger media.

Nigerians need to be enlightened.a lot more to come.
