Anti protest, ... But they are protesting

Anti end bad governance Meaning they want bad governance to continue..

Nigeria is a joke grin
Stop deceiving yourself. They are simply not in support of the group protesting. They should be there to curtail the actions of those potential anarchists. If you want to protest, be peaceful.

This nairaland agbadorians are really pathetic. The whole street of Nigeria is deserted that alone should tell u that the government will lose massively if ppl boycott work for a whole week. Banks and government offices are not open and u clowns here are opening various threads to mock protesters. Even NLC can't command this massive compliance which tells u it's already a win for the masses. U guys should be worried about ur august stipends cos if it continues like this uns go chop sand this month.
Mr. Anarchy, Who is the government? If the government loses, how do you gain? The money or whatever you are clamouring for will appear from the air? Confused lots.
Politics › Re: Protest In Lagos: Banks, Eateries, Fuel Stations, Others Under Lock And Key by BondRiv: 10:36am On Aug 01, 2024
Salewa97:
Nigerians and their protest wahala.

See as everywhere dey lock up because of small hardship. Instead of people to reason and strategize, they just want to go on the streets and disturb the peace.

Eateries and banks now suffering because of this senseless protest. What do they think they will achieve? Just adding more fuel to the fire of hardship.

This is not the time for protests; it’s time for solutions. But no, our people would rather shout and destroy instead of sitting down to plan how to navigate this difficult period. Na so dem go dey lock everywhere down.

Honestly, this protest is just another distraction, and the government will just sit back and watch as the noise continues. Who is really benefitting from all this chaos? Not the average Nigerian, that’s for sure.
Don't mind them. They don't know how to protest peacefully in this country.
Politics › Re: ‘Allow One Protester To Be Shot Or Harmed And You’re Gone From Office’ - TIB by BondRiv: 10:30am On Aug 01, 2024
Empty threat. Even those issuing it are liable to be picked up. You guys don't know how to protest in this country without shutting down everything and sabotaging the economy. If protesters put themselves in harm's way by turning violent, they may be shot. Nothing you guys will do. Be peaceful on your protest.
Politics › Re: Court Restricts Protests In Lagos To Freedom, Peace Park by BondRiv: 8:31pm On Jul 30, 2024
Kobojunkiee:
Not a single one of the restrictions stated in Section 45 gives even the courts right to dictate how people can freely protest. That is why I didn't bother posting from Section 45 upon reviewing it. undecided

Don't just post without reading next time. lipsrsealed
What section of the constitution provides for the right to peaceful assembly? And you didn't see it mentioned in section 45 (1). You are not a lawyer, hence your comment. You are unable to understand, not to talk of appreciating the significance of the section. There's no need going back and forth with you.

I have told you several times to stop delving into legal issues because you lack the legal training required to comprehend them.
Politics › Re: Court Restricts Protests In Lagos To Freedom, Peace Park by BondRiv: 8:13pm On Jul 30, 2024
Kobojunkiee:
The court has no such power since the supreme Law of the Land states as follows...
If you don't understand the law, consult a lawyer. No right is absolute. There are restrictions contained in S.45 of the CFRN 1999 (as amended). That is what the AGF is relying on.
