There is no state constitution. Get that simple fact into your head. The constitution cannot give powers that will undermine it. Any law contravening it is void. Simple.

Again, if the sultan bragged that he is under the guidance of Islamic law to rule, then the sultan is wrong in this case. As long as Nigerian law is concerned the governor is the chief security officer of the state because Nigeria at the moment is not practicing an Islamic constitution, and there might have been an intelligent report about the said Islamic cleric which the sultan wasn't aware of

Absolutely ridiculous. The Sultan doesn't need the permission of the governor before inviting someone. Even as individuals, we have fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitution. He is free to invite a guest. If someone is a security threat, then let the police do their job. Simple. What we have now is a menace across the country with power drunk governors.

If you guys want an autocratic government or military rule, then just say so.
