Actions have consequences. Justice served.

It is not true. Despicable rhetoric from a senator.
|
This Northern region is a problem. Is it the porous border? Radical ideology? It is susceptible to terrorism and that is where you have the majority of foreign funded NGOs in Nigeria. |
You have military officers guarding empty lands in Abuja, while the territorial integrity of Nigeria is under threat. Do we have a military? We have to restructure the military. Retired officers should not have any control of serving officers. The President needs to make significant deployments of security personnel to these hot zones. All these army chiefs we have, are they competent? Why does it look like nothing serious is being done? It is a pity. |
Mtcheww. Justice was done. We have important issues to be concerned about.
|
Hypocritical U.S. You don't dictate national security issues to another country. Imagine if Nigerian government officials were making this comments about internal issues in the U.S. They should stop meddling in our internal affairs. |
Still pretending to police a world they are ruining. |
grandstar:Your arguments go against reason. If it was costing them so much and they were benefiting nothing, why were they still there? Were you born yesterday and trying to learn how the world works? Even what you dismissed as a mere projection of power is very important in this world of perceptions. Image is everything. They were there for much more. |
Stop this Western press tour. I understand the aspect of refuting falsehoods, but the government has done enough. The U.S. has no right to threaten us, so that is not even something to debate. President Tinubu has to do his job or resign immediately. This issue of insecurity is not beyond our control. It is not. The president is letting the country fall apart. A country of hundreds of millions, if Tinubu can't do the job, he should resign. There are others begging to do it. Leave the battle of narratives with the U.S. and foreign media and get to work. When some of us were calling for scrutiny of the foreign agents here funding terrorism, no one did anything. USAID and their likes are done funding them or are they? This whole issue with the U.S. is evidence that these embassies are not conducting diplomacy. The Nigerian Senate could not conduct a simple investigation of the claims of terrorism being funded. Better close all these embassies. You don't understand the depth of your problem. |
How embarrassing. We don't owe the U.S. or any country any explanation. This practice of going to Washington, D.C. to explain our internal issues to U.S. politicians is a disgrace that won't result in anything meaningful. Trump is only interested in a show, while the U.S. deep state created this problem. What is our government afraid of? The illegal threat of the U.S. or refuting false claims? You can't appease illegality. If it is the latter, we have done enough. You don't have to be on U.S. soil. Nigeria is a sovereign country. We need to get our priorities right. Do your job and stop embarrassing us. If the government is helpless, tell us. |
grandstar:Nothing is free. Don't be naive. |
Let him serve his time. |
That is a fact. |
As the court pleases. A well-considered judgment by his Lordship. |
Justice Omotosho did his job. 20 years was him showing mercy the convict did not deserve. The law is clear. When you have a bad client and a bad case, there is nothing you can do. Kanu should do at least 15 years before anyone starts talking about pardon. |
The unruly behaviour of Kanu in court won't be tolerated anywhere in the world. No remorse at all. |
Found guilty on seven counts. No reasonable person expected otherwise. Justice served. |
As expected. Joke of a party. |
seunowa:State police won't change anything. Just another avenue for politicians to abuse their power. What resources do you still want them to control? The one they are getting now, how well have they utilized it? They are simply not ready to work for this country. |
Calling on the cause of your problem to be the solution. Inverted world. |
motayoayinde:Most people are not aware that the U.S. has this technology and capability to cause "natural disasters." They even do it to their own citizens for whatever reason known to them. Demonic country. |
BigYash:When an officer was sent to do gateman work and you guys were applauding, you didn't need the commander in chief then. They should also deploy them to do their actual work. |
yarimo:You won't see him there. When he is not busy doing gateman work, he is gallivanting around Abuja with covered plate number. Tomorrow, they will make him Chief of Naval Staff. |
While terrorists are killing your people. Misplaced priority. Continue joking with your lives. |
So a Brigadier General was actually killed? If it was done by some random criminals in some villages, the military would have raided those communities and innocent people will not be spared. It is a pity. |
PDP does not know what democracy means. Joke of a party. Makinde and his gang only came to Abuja to cause trouble. Nothing more. |
U.S. help can only come with the consent of Nigeria. Who are those sponsoring terrorism? Which country owns the defunct USAID? All the military chiefs, even those retired are now quiet, including the Minister of Defence. They only know how to support the illegality of their errand boys like Yerima. When it comes to protecting our territorial integrity, you won't see them. Terrorists have turned Nigeria to their own Bahamas. |
SpencerForbes:Delivers ke. You can't give what you don't have. His incompetence is on full display. |
All these calls to the U.S. President makes you wonder if Nigeria is a subdivision of the U.S. It is rather silly. Turaki and his clowns wanted this chaos. A drowning man will do anything. They had sufficient notice of the FCT Minister's meeting. Only gullible people will fall for this nonsense. |
Hold Makinde and his goons responsible for this mayhem. Desperados who are drowning. Instead of seeking for peace and reconciliation at this critical time, they are busy trying to outsmart their shadows. Clueless elements. |
These elements just want trouble. The faction led by Wike had already given notice of their meeting. The police should bar them (Makinde's agents) from the venue. |
