This felon is getting preferential treatment. He shouldn't have a choice.
Politics › Re: Benin Government Asked Nigeria For Fighter Jets, Ground Troops - Onanuga by BondRiv: 4:13pm On Dec 09, 2025
Ofunaofu:
How exactly was the invitation communicated?

Even if Nigeria received an invitation to participate, does the constitution permit the President to unilaterally deploy air assets and military personnel to another country without National Assembly authorization? That is the core issue, not the vague explanations being offered by Bayo Onanuga

The National Assembly must thoroughly investigate whether this action, along with others, constitutes a breach of constitutional obligations. If the President is found to have violated the Constitution, the impeachment process should commence without delay.

This is not a banana republic;
this is a nation governed by law, and no one is above it
Impeachment my foot. I hate when people unnecessarily channel so much energy to things that do not warrant it. Did we declare war? We were INVITED by the President of Benin to render urgent assistance. Do some of you think at all?

You expected the president to hold a joint sitting with the National Assembly or what? Whatever information the National Assembly needs will be communicated to them. The executive knows how to relay that. The president acted within his powers as commander in chief.

Also, this is different from what some of you were advocating for, which was U.S. unilateral intervention (invasion) without invitation. Suddenly, you guys have remembered the constitution and sovereignty. Anyway, the president acted appropriately in this situation with his foreign counterpart.

An anomaly being sanctioned in Nigeria. Is that what you see abroad? Continue killing our economy and currency. Joke of a regulator.
Romance › Re: I Know This Is A Sensitive Topic But Can A Man Rape His Wife by BondRiv: 9:16pm On Dec 08, 2025
Kobojunkie:
Stop lying! 🥱🥱

It is only under Sharia law that it is explicitly stated that a man who rapes his wife cannot be prosecuted or punished by law for the act. undecided

Are you telling us that you are a Muslim married under Sharia law? undecided
You will leave your field and start arguing with someone trained in the profession. I have told you the position of the law in Nigeria. It has nothing to do with Sharia.
Romance › Re: I Know This Is A Sensitive Topic But Can A Man Rape His Wife by BondRiv: 9:11pm On Dec 08, 2025
Kobojunkie:
In Nigeria, only those under Sharia law, which explicitly states that a man is exempt for punishment on the case that he raped his wife, are excluded from the rape laws in Nigeria. Everyone else is subject to the same ordinances which state that forcible nonconsensual sex is punishable by law. 🥱🥱
A man cannot rape his wife in Nigeria. That is the position of the law.

This impunity needs to stop. I don't care what you alleged he did, Sylvia remains innocent until proven guilty. That is the law. Enough of this nonsense.

Politics › Re: US Congressmen Visit National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu In Abuja by BondRiv: 8:42pm On Dec 07, 2025
Not true. We were all over the place doing what I referred to as press tours, because it was too much. I understand the aspect of correcting a wrong narrative, but we went overboard. We also sent a high delegation to D.C. Just so you know, the NSA is a high ranking federal political office holder and associated with the presidency. So basically, you don't know what you are talking about.
Foreign Affairs › Re: 5 Military Jets From Cote D'ivoire, Nigeria Scrambled During Benin Failed Coup by BondRiv: 8:16pm On Dec 07, 2025

5 West African countries already under military regime. This one made it almost 6. [b]US is watching closely and I think they will intervene and kick someone out before that country falls, because if the country falls, it could destabilize an entire continent. /b] That person they will kick out is powerless, he's unpopular in the country and very dependent on the votes of people who have another agenda to overrun the country.
If the USA cared about the stability of this continent or even Nigeria, they wouldn't have inflicted us with terrorism to destabilise us. The USA cares only about dominating the world and maintaining its hegemony. Some of you are yet to understand how the world works.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Becoming One Of The Most Dangerous Places On Earth To Follow Christ — US by BondRiv: 7:42pm On Dec 07, 2025
What does the USA, which is the headquarters of satanism know about Christ? What does NASA mean? Twitter is now X, do you know what that logo means? You just have to be informed to see through their deception.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Becoming One Of The Most Dangerous Places On Earth To Follow Christ — US by BondRiv: 7:34pm On Dec 07, 2025
Benzigler:
US does not like terrorists unlike Nigeria who negotiate and reward terrorists with cash for job well done, have a shame for once in your in life time
The USA has a history of funding terrorism. It just has to align with that evil thing called their "interest". You receive labels once they fall out with you. CIA is still funding terrorism, destabilising and causing regime change. All of which is being done covertly. It goes without saying by their very nature.
Politics › Re: Policeman Suleiman Musa Demoted For Escorting A VIP by BondRiv: 5:43pm On Dec 07, 2025
Very good. We have to also stop the extortion by police officers on our roads. Not only illegal, but a great embarrassment to the country.

The trial judge was right that he has no remorse. He believes he is above the law. You have a criminal matter pending before the court and you are gallivanting across the world.

We have every right to be concerned. The instability there can affect us, including the terrorism we are battling. A strong Nigeria is what Africa needs. We have to put our house in order and actualise our potential.

They better not kill cinema. Even though I stream sometimes, I prefer the cinematic experience.
Romance › Re: I Know This Is A Sensitive Topic But Can A Man Rape His Wife by BondRiv: 11:25am On Dec 07, 2025
Common sense says otherwise, but it is a matter of law and jurisdiction. In Nigeria, legally speaking, a man cannot rape his wife.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Now Receiving Support From US, UK, France To Fight Terrorism - Ribadu by BondRiv: 10:08pm On Dec 06, 2025
Stop making empty speeches. A government that does not know who is funding what in its country. Several NGOs are in the North doing all manner of things, yet the government doesn't care. Very irresponsible bunch. The only solution is to eliminate those terrorists once and for all. Not this hide and seek you guys are playing.
Politics › Re: Temporary Suspending My Support For This Government by BondRiv: 9:52pm On Dec 06, 2025
DeLaRue:
Apply and join the army to help the government fight insecurity.

Your country needs you.

That's better than pontificating about withdrawing support for the government from behind a phone screen.
Have you joined? Who told you that is the problem with this fight? Who redeployed the soldiers at Kebbi before the abduction? If so, they should stop people like Yerima from doing "gateman" work and deploy them.

This terrorism has been on for quite some time and some of you are still oblivious. The government is not serious about fighting terrorism. You will only churn out people to go and die for nothing. If they want to end this, we will know.

How can terrorists still control areas of a sovereign country? Who is more powerful than the government? Be it Sambisa, if they are serious, they will launch a military campaign and no terrorist will survive.

The government holds all the cards. They are the ones giving these terrorists a breathing space. Where are the terrorists getting supplies, be it food or medical? Which areas have ever been cordoned off with military campaigns for days since this so-called terrorism fight? They are not yet serious. Not to talk of the saboteurs among them.
Politics › Re: Ex-PDP Spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan Dumps Party by BondRiv: 6:57pm On Dec 06, 2025
The only serious opposition to APC is ADC. PDP is dead. Anyone in PDP claiming to be an opposition member is not serious.

Pootle:
his very right europe is losing its ideology gradually the arabs are trying all they can to impose their religion, way of life and culture into them. in uk imaging a police chief starting a briefing with arabic greeting as an english speaking country, same uk also have a large indian presence also this is not peculiar to uk, belguim has gone already only poland is doing all in its power to maintain and retain its identity
So what? The Europeans invaded others and did same. It is deserved, although I don't think they have even gotten remotely what they did. Just like the USA destabilising countries abroad and then trying to shut its doors. They should join them in their countries.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Lays Bare His Contempt For Europe In Blistering New National Security Plan by BondRiv: 1:43pm On Dec 06, 2025
Europe is a lapdog to the USA. Any analysis against that fact is a waste of time. It has been seen in different iterations.

Story. Please remain where you are in the South East with your sit-at-home problems. Let people who say they are not Igbos be left alone. It is not by force. Even among yourselves as Igbos, you discriminate. Fix your problems.
