you just proved my point man. Given the two choices of university and polytechnics, nobody ever chooses poly. They are 2nd choices when u can't see urself in d 1st. Poly graduates should for once respect who respect is due, degree is ahead by miles. Dat is why banks rush diploma holders simply because they can't afford degree holders; not dat they prefer diploma, no no. In fact, sensitive positions in banks are never trusted to a diploma holder, never. Degree is like Lexus 350, diploma is like Peugeot 206

The policy that turns the tide in your favour was written by men. I hope you will still hold the same opinion when the tide turns against you.
If the degree made super men out of its holders, I wonder why our Nation still crawls despite policies and theories churned out over time by these men defined by certificates and not character and service delivery.

These guys are missing it, monotechnics and polytechnics were designed to bridge the nations technical gap, they were not intended to sit on desks and compete with university graduates.

Blame the emphasis on certificates rather than competence for this problem.

If every school becomes a university who will fix our cars, roads, man our tech drive?

We must learn to prioritize competence and practical knowledge over certificates and certification.

An expert is an expert because they know their onions not because of certificates and membership to some bogus association that just collects membership fees and does nothing to improve competence of its members.

The proliferation of many so called professional bodies in the country proves this.

The issue lies in dehumanizing conditions they are subjected to. Even if a cleaner is undermined in a workplace, the whole office environment will become uninhabitable.
Graduates of Polytechnics are not push overs, they are not second class citizens. They should not be held down by obnoxious policies that kneels on their neck and deprive them of oxygen.

They are not crying foul, they are asking for justice. You and your likes are not in anyway better than them. The only reason you can open your mouth recklessly and vomit, is that holders of HND have not been accorded their rightful places in the scheme of things.
