A gubernatorial aspirant in Kogi State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Mustapha Mona Audu, has declared confidence in beating the incumbent Governor, Yahaya Bello, by winning the governorship ticket in the upcoming primary of the party in the state.

Prince Audu who was the second person to purchase the expression of interest form at the APC secretariat in Abuja, urged the party to adopt the primary that the stakeholders were calling for.

“Whether the primary is direct or indirect, I’m not bothered by it. Although it’s good to listen to what the people and stakeholders want, especially since most are leaning towards direct primary, I advise the party to heed the advice given to them. Nonetheless, I do not feel threatened either; and I am sure that whichever one holds, I will win it. It is not a do or die affair,” Audu said.

The son of the late Kogi State Governor, Prince Abubakar Audu, also said he would carry the legacy of his late political icon and father.

The Kogi state governorship primary is slated to hold on August 29.

Tinubu: I join other well meaning Nigerians and my party to condolence with Pa Fasoranti on the unfortunate incident that led to the loss of his daughter and a great daughter of Yoruba land. I have come to assure you sir, that the killers will be fished out soon.

We must refrain from blaming any group, especially Fulani herdsmen without proof.

What we need is a holistic approach to ensure peaceful coexistence of herdsmen and their host communities, and the government of President Muhammadu Buhari is working on that and that was why the government proposed RUGA to end all these unnecessary killings.


Let's give him more time to come up with a lasting solution. I therefore enjoin all Yorubas to remain law abiding and not take up arms against peaceful tribe being painted evil by the opposition party who are angry that they lost to the APC.

Just decided to drop this here:

A wife is a good thing/gift to her husband to better his life . In what ways is she a gift?

1. Beauty: She is to look good for her husband. Take good care of her beauty (inner & outer) and look good for her husband. It is not ideal to dress shoddy at home and deck up yourself when going out or in the midst of other people.

2. Body: She is to always be willing to gift her husband her body.

3. Resources: A wife is to bless her husband with her resources: time, money, gifts, talents, wisdom etc. No one else should enjoy your good qualities more than your husband.

A wife should also be wise enough to know what her husband needs per time/season and provide it. For instance, the needs of a doctor is different from the needs of a tailor or a lawyer.

A thought provoking question: Are you are gift to your husband? Do you use all you have to bless him?
