Whenever I discuss with Edo people all they keep saying is Oshiomole own don too much.

Edo state nor get money to share to people that don't know the value of money. Kabaka is so rich that he is wasting money on lions,gorillas and monkeys.

MY ADVICE FOR GOVERNOR OBASEKI

I am simply Victor,
Your Excellency, I may not be good with the courtesy that accompanies a letter to a sitting governor, please forgive me if i err on this part. Though not an indigene of Edo state but I have spent the last twelve years of my life in this state. And by virtue of this I qualify to have my voice in matters of interest in this state, as it affects not just the indigenes of the state but also non-indigenes of which I am one. Your re-election bid is a matter of interest to me because your detractors have not accused you of non-performance but disloyalty which followers of Nigerian politics understands it meaning. This is the reason for my advice to you as a follower of Nigerian politics and a lover of Edo state and its people.
Decamp to PDP; though it has been rumored in some quarters that you have defected to the PDP already but it is of utmost importance that you make it official as soon as possible so that your followers will know where to pitch their tents. With respect to other political parties but only the PDP can offer you the platform on which you can get re-election. Just like you know Sir, how Ize-Iyamu gave you a push in 2016 and that’s not due to his candidature but the structure of the PDP and if the PDP could offer him such structures as an opposition party then it can offer you a structure to win as soon as it becomes the ruling party by the virtue of your defection.
Recruit strategists into your team; Sir, forget about noise makers they can only offer you their votes, instead recruit strategists and let them lead from the front and if noise makers are required then they can lead from the back. I guess you have not forgotten so soon the intrigues of the presidential election in 2015 which the sitting president lost to the current president, which owed in part to noise makers leading his campaign instead of strategists.
Meet Okowa; I didn’t say this because he is my state governor but he is a man that has never lost any election he contested. In as much as I don’t like him so much but I respect his achievements and political astuteness. It has been said that you have visited Mr. Nyesom Wike of Rivers and his Akwa Ibom counterpart in Mr. Udom Emmanuel. These two governors are important in PDP but you need the calmness and assurance that comes with Okowa’s presence.
Wield your powers; with all due respect to Oshiomhole, he has wielded his powers as the national chairman of the APC and now it is you turn to use yours as a sitting governor. Take a leave from Udom Emmanuel and show your haters the Akwa Ibom style.
Don’t sacrifice Shaibu for anything; Philip Shaibu is an astute and a formidable deputy and most importantly Mr. Governor, he is loyal and also has a huge followership and so should not be the fall guy, if His Excellency desires re-election.
If my service will ever be required Mr. Governor, I can deliver block vote from Okuaihe to Igbogiri and even up to Ugan. And I will do that for free.
Trust me Mr. Governor your people are behind you.
