I just left the market just now not too far from my house, can you believe I wanted to buy fresh fish so I can prepare something nice for myself this evening to go through the weekend. Madam how much you dey sell your fish, she brought one out and said 7k..I was surprised and ask for one? She say ehh.. you go buy me join. Never in my life have I felt insulted with the way she said it, this is someone that all what she's selling in the basin is not up to the sandal i have on my leg putting on. I wanted to give her gbas gbos but had a second thought, due to the economy of the country people Will have false impression of the whole thing.. maybe I don't have money to afford her market meanwhile it's different scenario of someone who doesn't know how to talk at all.. I just left her shade. This is not the first time I have encountered this kind of market women and sometimes they will make you feel as if you came to beg for their goods. You might be seeing them hustling and struggling in hot sun and cold weather and feel sorry but if this people tell you word you reason your life the whole day.

Seriously, why is the whole world trying to make things difficult for the common man, especially in Nigeria as a whole? While I am among those who believe that if you're not invited, don't go, and if not told, don't ask kinda personality, I still find it amusing that more systems and ways are being introduced into our society, Africa culture on a daily basis just to ridicule the common man. Which is not our heritage and no one is really saying anything about it. A man had his daughter wedded in our church a few weeks ago, and it was all by invitation only.. Church..o bros... The pastor who announced it said that without the piece of the envelope that would be shared later after the church service, no one would be allowed into the hall for the reception. And they was also a dress code you must buy and wear on that day for those who wished to be in a better sit at the ceremony with premium treatment I guess....Till today, I didn't receive any. Until I heard that the invites they brought were not up to 100, despite the multitude of the congregations, and they shared them among themselves, people that matters more in the church.. A friend who went came and gisted me about how the hall was filled with multitude well wishers all elites From different clubs, association, brides and grooms, That they that went from the church was just sitting there looking like lukozade with excessive dishes and food different kinds that might later end up in the refuse dump. yet they couldn't allow a common man to come participate freely. I really feel this is wrong and it's not our culture. its a new thing this event planners are trying to introduce even in burial ceremonies. This really needs to be stopped, because once everyone jumps on this thread it won't be funny at all. Nlfpmod take me to front page |

We all remember the bicycle kick saga he had with Victor Ikpeba a few years ago during the World Cup, when he made a simple analysis and Oshihem reacted to it by trolling him online on his social media accounts severally, going as far as calling him "AGBAYA" on his IG... no action was taken against him by the NFF to this day.Things would have escalated, but for the ex-Super Eagle star maturity, he let it slide with no further response. Nigerians didn't really take it as a big offense at the time. In fact, many people were in support of oshihem as the STAR BOY that he is. We never knew the ego we were taming. During the last AFCON, when Iwobi and the Super Eagles were criticised, they still made it to the finals, although they lost. During the Super Eagles arrival from the tournament, we saw how calm they were. A video circulated online of a lady trying to get Oshihem to make a statement as normal but he bluntly refused, saying 'FREE ME, JHOR...' as he walked past. While other Super Eagle players comported themselves and acted professionally one could see the high level of arrogance and annoyance, ego oozing from him the way he said it. As I watched, I realised from that moment that this young man is far from being humble, despite still being young in the game. Yet again yesterday's video showed him going live on IG, disrespecting George Finidi, a legend simply because he saw an unverified news report from some blogs with no video evidence. Good God, he even went further to disrespect all Nigerians as a whole and Super Eagles supporters, saying 'OGUN should kill everyone.' And you're telling me the NFF will keep quiet when they review the video? What will other foreign nationals say when they see players acting this way to the country? Come on, there's a limit to what we can take. This is a huge disrespect to the country's flag, and if no action is taken, more issues like this will arise. There's an adage that says, no matter how tall an okro plant is, it can never be bigger than its owner. I hate nonsense, and a man should be held accountable for his actions, knowingly or unknowingly. He's still our star boy and we love him but with these few points of mine, I want to urge the NFF to move in, investigate this, and take action swiftly to avoid more global embarrassment to our nation like this. #BORN2WIN that warri boy. I just woke up this morning, and wanted to get fuel, and behold, on getting out from the compound, I realized the whole place had been filled with canopies and chairs with the road barricade. A woman who died a few months ago was getting buried today. Can you imagine, when this old woman was alive, we hardly saw family relatives come visiting or caring for her, and now that she's dead, they're giving her a befitting burial by faces we've hardly seen before blocking everyone? I can't even go out close to 20 canopies. It's almost like they were waiting for her to die to celebrate. This makes me wonder why some families behave like this, especially in Nigeria |

My dad is in his 80s and the youngest of 7 siblings. everytime he used to talk about his brothers and sisters and call out their names to us how close they were. Some died during the civil war and his only immediate elder sister died 2005. I can sense the pain in his voice which makes me wonder How it feels to be the only survivor in a domestic family with people who you grow up with all gone. I mean I still have my brother's and sisters here with me and some child hood friends. We don't know who will be first to go but sometimes I wonder how it feels |
KiNg0G:Walai Why is no A list artist speaking out on this issue. I'm yet to hear from Don jazzy, olamide and co |

jmoore:this is so wrong. All this needs to be abolished that's my point. Who gave them that authority they have to share land within themselves. |
IconicR:It doesn't matter if they were the first men created by God that doesn't give them automatic ownership. The needs to abolish this act and restructure things. We are all humans, everyone deserves shelter. |
IconicR:So it's right for them to sell what they achieved free with no hassle for a stupendously sum of money? How did being the first settlers make them owners? that they had to sell out to others. I think the government needs to restructure this |
BItt:I go price one, which day here The money that was called for me increase my curiosity...like how come. |
IconicR:I am not sad I am just curious. How all this mentality started. |
