I think this is very common of most things Nigeria - badly managed, unorganised, not well monitored, (add yours) etc. This attitude should have been curbed ages ago and you could tell that the owner of Nairaland doesn't even give a damn about his website at all. For a website of almost 300,000 members, this guy has the audacity to post satellite pictures (and hundreds of them) at will and Seun must have seen these a couple of times (or even his moderators) but no one gives a damn.

Very typical of a Nigeria managed site (reminds me of a place managed by people from the western part of Africa called Nigeria)

MAURITIUS
This was realized from three mates who are from this country and I can tell you that all of them were as confident of going back to their countries to secure their immediate futures as opposed to staying back in the UK to secure a job because they’re very positive about the stable economy back home (according to them).

A stable democracy with regular free elections and a positive human rights record, the country has attracted considerable foreign investment and has earned one of Africa's highest per capita incomes.

More so, I have friends from this country and they have re-iterated what Wikipedia has to say.

I might be wrong as I’ve not stepped in Nigeria for over a decade however based on what I read, what people see when they return from their journeys and the daily news reports, I doubt I beg to differ when it comes to including Nigeria among the top 5 countries in Africa.

My inclusion however would be (not in any particular order):
Libya
Egypt
Tunisia
South Africa and
Mauritius.

I might be wrong though but I doubt Nigeria fits the list regardless of my opinion because when we talk of development, there are so many indications that must be considered and I doubt Nigeria ticks most of the boxes as of yet.

Electricity,  Water, Education, Good transport links (these are just very basic and Nigeria lacks in these infrastructures and even the percentage of the country that has the opportunity to get them is not even up to 30%. _{I might be wrong though.}

There are different definitions of Developed Country. It all depends on what standard you're using.

I came from the same town with the present governor, and know what has befell that town.
I can say categorically that no infrastructural development is going on in that town apart from the teaching hospital project Ladoja's admin brought into town. Apart from that, other major towns in Oyo has witness no revival since Akala's inauguration; Hence spending government money on parties.

I must be honest you've really sold the guy to me, though Tokunbo Ajayi did not neither did Dapo Lam himself because he lied about the fraud bit which I'm very sure about (to be honest, the company is called Chequepoint). I hope yor heart would forgive you if Dapo Lam wins the seat and  (inentionally) messes up. I know I migh not vote in this so-called election but I hope I have satisfied my conscience that I have at least tried to do the best for my country.

I hope change would come to Nigeria and if it's gonna be through DapoLam, so be it then. Who am I to say who is right, I can only hope I'm doing the right thing and surely one day, we'll all get there. Good luck to him anyway.

I know you care a lot about the issues sorrounding Oyo State (becuase I always notice your presence on threads concerning Oyo State). However, don't be deceived by this @ DapoLam gimmick. Just try and be honest to yourself and make sre youdo the right thing so as t satisfy your conscience. We're not here to ruin him (not that we could anyway) but we all want the best for Nigeria as a whole and that's why we are trying not to forgive once we know you've deceived the people.

By the way, on his facebook page which he created to serve his campaign (I went through yesterday), most people are sayig the same things just as @KoboJunkie is saying and that is for @ DapoLam to answer the same questions rather than dodge them
