PoliticsRe: Top 25 Countries With The Lowest Quality Of Life In 2025 by Bossman(m):
The power/electricity issue alone is enough to put Nigeria on that list. The amount of money that needs to be spent in order to enjoy the basics of life is unbelievable! Crumbled infrastructure, terrible health system, etc.
It’s all suffering and smiling.
FamilyRe: Marriage On The Brink Of Collapse by Bossman(m): 4:00pm On Oct 29, 2025
From one of your threads linked below, you should have been long gone from this marriage. Unless may be you are in it to get your stay or something. Or you are hanging in there because of the young kids.

Christianity EtcRe: I Have A First-class Brain - Odumeje Claims He’s Smarter Than Many Graduates by Bossman(m): 2:59pm On Oct 22, 2025
Another comedian has spoken. He is probably right though, since most of his congregation are NOT sensible enough to realize that he is a clown.
TravelRe: My Trip To Washington DC from Lagos by Bossman(m): 7:15pm On Oct 17, 2025
Just chill at the airport. Check your boarding pass for your connecting flight for the gate. More importantly, also check the flight status screens at your connecting airport. It should have the most up to date status of your connecting flight and gate.

PhonesRe: Please I’m Looking For A Registered SIM Card To Buy. by Bossman(m): 1:04pm On Oct 16, 2025
OP, you will eventually have to get your own NIN and register your phones properly if you want to avoid issues down the line. Just find the time and get it done the right way. Trying to use a sim registered to someone else’s NIN as yours is not a good idea.
CareerRe: Nobody Cares About Fine Girls In The UK, I Miss Nigeria — Nigerian Lady Laments! by Bossman(m):
Freedom in Nigeria, freedom to do what? In a country where there is no accountability. People are free to break the law any how they want, and they will not be held to account. Go to any government office and try to get anything done...it will be like pulling teeth. Any major sickness and the rich will need to be flown out to get treatment. Nigeria is all about suffering and smiling. And people think they are free
CoronaVirusPro:
You will never know how fun Nigeria happens to be until you spend an average of 5 years outside the country.

Talk about extreme freedom, it resides in Nigeria
TravelRe: See Car Traffic In China, 36 lanes road by Bossman(m): 3:03pm On Oct 10, 2025
The highway itself is not 36 lanes. It expands to 18 lanes in each direction ONLY at the toll booth. This is done in order to get a lot of cars through the tolls. Then as cars pass through, the lanes merge into the normal number of lanes, be it 4, 5, etc.
PoliticsRe: 139m Nigerians Living In Poverty – World Bank by Bossman(m): 6:37pm On Oct 09, 2025
Serous poverty in the land. And the politicians and their families are living in affluence. Wetin concern them!
Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye To Lead Prayers For Nigeria by Bossman(m): 12:31pm On Oct 04, 2025
Honestly, there is no hope for Nigeria. If these religious leaders have been able to convince a lot of gullible people that the answers to the country's problems, the just is not much hope for the country. One thing is certain - the least religious nations are the most developed and advanced. Rather than spending their time praying, they use it to innovate, work, and be productive.

There are tons of directions out there. Just google it. First install Kodi, then install whatever kodi addons you need.

Hello do you have directions to setup kodi? I have used it on my phone in the past.
PhonesRe: ✨ Hot Deal – Iphone 14 Pro Max! ✨ by Bossman(m): 2:34pm On Sep 05, 2025
Hello, I believe it will help to indicate if this version also has the physical sim and if it's locked or unlocked. That will help potential buyers determine if it can still be used as a phone or not.

PhonesRe: 10 Cheapest Unlimited Internet Plans In Nigeria (2025) by Bossman(m): 3:54am On Aug 17, 2025
Still a very long way to go for true unlimited internet in Nigeria, with decent download speeds. These speeds I am seeing for most of them are just out right anemic. One can’t do much of real data intensive tasks with these download speeds. Also the reach of these providers is limited to the major cities of Lagos, Abuja, and a handful of others. I pray Nigeria gets there one day.

We still dey here oh. Good to see that things have gone really well for you. Still in Chicagoland? I remember back then you were in the South Suburbs when you first came. Still here in the NW Suburbs oh. Wifey is an RN with 28+ years experience. So I can understand your journey a bit. I'm still in IT myself, though I am in management now. After about 29+ years of writing code.
FrankNetter, you have done really well for yourself. And I am sure you are an inspiration to a lot of folks here. Well done my brother.

TravelRe: My Journey To Ghana! Stay Tuned by Bossman(m): 1:00pm On Aug 13, 2025
Good idea. It’s so shameful that every meaningful thread on Nairaland turns into a tribal war. We all want progress for the country, but the tribal divisions that some tend to push are so deep that, I do not see the country making progress in thst space. What a shame for Nigeria.

My brother, take a break and let those preaching hate and tribal divisions continue to spit out nonsense!

I concur. This would have been charged as terrorism in a saner climate. How is this nonsense even possible. Only in a zoo republic!
Racoon:
He is lucky this is Nigeria. In saner climes, hem must have be docked, charged, convicted and jailed same day for terrorism.
PhonesRe: Active Fixed Internet Subscribers - Q1 2025 by Bossman(m): 10:29am On Jul 30, 2025
Wow! Those are extremely low numbers for a country of 200m. That’s less than 1% of the population. Improvement is definitely needed in this area. As you alluded to, fixed broadband is very important in this digital age.
It’s obvious that the overwhelming majority of Nigerians use their mobile data as their primary means of accessing the internet.

DrMB:
Fixed broadband may not make the headlines, but it’s the backbone of any real digital economy. These 10 providers are leading the charge.
Spectranet may be on top, for now. But Starlink is closing fast, and the race to wire Nigeria’s future is heating up.
TravelRe: Why The A380 Plane Often Climbs Slowly During Take Off Despite Its Massive Engin by Bossman(m): 1:48pm On Jul 29, 2025
I concur. You will hardly feel it's climbing. In 2023 we did the Bangkok to Seoul route on it with Korean Air, en-route back to the US. Me and the kids still talk about our experience on this marvelous aircraft up till date.
HealthRe: Nigerian Police and Hospitals: The Last People to Trust in an Emergency (Pics) by Bossman(m): 6:38pm On Jul 25, 2025
Well said. A country that has totally failed. In any sane environment if there is an accident, the police will first ask about the well being of the parties involved. And will call medical personnel if needed. Also, if an accident victim shows up at the hospital, they will be treated no matter what. Then ask questions later. Fixing Nigeria will take a WHOLE lot! The level of rot is mind boggling.

Merry100:
This is how you know Nigeria is a failed country; not even one system is functioning properly.

PhonesRe: Let’s Be Honest, iPhones Are Not For Everyone by Bossman(m): 6:20pm On Jun 30, 2025
Yes, I would think so. In some places like the US for example, the carriers primarily carry Iphones and Samsung. That's why those 2 devices make up about 80% of phones used in the USA, with Iphones at about 60%.

The fluidity and smoothness of Iphones can't be beaten. Also, how well it integrates with other parts of your daily activities such as your car, automated home, music playing etc., donkey years of software update, just puts it a step above the others. I have used Android in the past as well, but I just can see myself going back to an android device.

Android OS does have its advantages when it comes to tweaking and customization though.

Phone/Internet MarketRe: Iphone 14 Pro Max For Sale by Bossman(m): 7:14pm On Jun 25, 2025
Go and read your post and tell me where you indicated the ESIM is working. You clearly said "Just Wifi". Hence the reason for my assumption. The fact that the ESIM is working makes a difference in how people will view it. And you should clearly mention that. Just SMH...

PS. I know the value of what you are trying to sell. My daughter uses the US version of the exact same device, which is ESIM only hence my reason for asking about ESIM.

iamjack0812:
The esim is okay and working good so stop assuming.
The post is for those that know the value of what I want to sell.
I don't understand why people will not keep to their business and be derailing someone post.
Serious buyer pls call or chat me for videos or more pics.
Thanks
Phone/Internet MarketRe: Iphone 14 Pro Max For Sale by Bossman(m): 3:41pm On Jun 25, 2025
I am assuming it does not support E-sim why? So both SIM and ESIM are compromised? If so, That's just way to high for a paper weight. It's totally cracked in the back and it's a Wifi only device. Think about it...would anyone in their right frame of mind purchase this device?
CelebritiesRe: Most People In The UK Are Broke - Reality TV Star, Tacha by Bossman(m): 3:34pm On Jun 25, 2025
It's actually beyond senseless to try to compare the life of folks in he UK to those in Nigeria. The value of their currencies alone makes it a pointless comparison. It could be that majority of the people OP is friends with are not doing well. However, I can assure you that they are doing better than most in Nigeria. The health care, security, basic infrastructure, and quality of life in general alone make it a senseless comparison. These are countries that value hard work, and you will be rewarded accordingly. Unlike Nigeria that does the exact opposite. Everyone I know that has traveled to the UK/USA etc. are doing better there than when they were in Nigeria. Just the quality of life it affords they and their kids alone makes it an excellent move.

Wow! Everything turns to tribalism. The country is such a divided nation along tribal lines! And unfortunately with these divisions, it can never progress. What a shame!
