I believe majority are aware the linking can be done online. However, most are receiving this message because their information MTN has is not matching what NIMC has. So the info will need to be updated on the MTN system. And this can only be done by visiting the MTN office with the appropriate documents. Unless there is a way to update (via online/app) the info MTN system has that I am not ware of.

The queue I met at MTN office today because of this issue of linking NIN really shocked me.

I have successfully linked my NIN to my MTN and Glo lines with the NIMC app with no stress at all.

This has fake marriage written all over it! They asked for more evidence, and somehow she could not provide it, and the person she married to fell sick, that he could not even communicate. And this same person is now in Nigeria. Then why does she still need the visa to go to the USA. No visa officer will believe this nonsense! The visa officer sniffed out this fake marriage quickly, and she has probably been banned.

Sounds like a battery replacement is needed.

As already said, be humble, work hard, and continue to learn. Whatever area of IT you choose to focus on, make sure you learn it very well and you are very proficient in it. Also, the IT sector in Nigeria is quite limiting. So to get good opportunities for growth and development you will need to find a way to get out of there. At a high level, at least that's how it works here in the US, the cable will be run to your house, there will be a box outside your house that you will connect to to run it into your house. Then that cable will connect to your cable modem/router.

Sounds like a SIM issue. Clean the SIM contacts or replace the SIM card.

The problem is that other SIM cards are working in it but this particular MTN SIM I want to use in the phone refuses to work when inserted.
The phone does not recognize the SIM. It says no SIM inserted.

But the sim in question is working on other Galaxy phones.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I am surprised that you were still denied boarding with an authentic travel document from the embassy, and a police report from the Mexican authorities. Please elaborate on the reason for the denial and that will help folks provide appropriate advice. I also think you will need something from the Canadian authorities indicating you are allowed to enter the country.

I live in Canada and I am a temporary work permit resident. I reported the theft to the police in Cancun, got all required documents to present at the Nigeria high commission to enable me get an emergency passport. The embassy said they don’t issue passports but gave me a letter to present at boarding.

I was at the airport today and was denied boarding.

And the OP is asking for those that have successfully boarded with an expired passport to state the airline they used and any issues encountered.

Well said. I actually had to force my device (Iphone) to stay on LTE/4G due to inconsistency and terrible speeds on 5G. A few minutes after I landed there last June I received a text from MTN welcoming me, and indicating my device is now configured for 5G and ready to go. What a joke! It was barely usable. For now, LTE/4G does very well.

Yes, a lot are moving to streaming services/TV on demand. In my case I use YoutubeTV.

Even in the US, a lot are cutting cable because the bills keeps going up. I still remember when cable used to be 10 dollars. Now they will draw you in with 49.99 deal then shit will jump to 99.99 dollars in a 2 year contract.
I cut off the danm cable, everything is on the internet.

There are certainly other options such as IPTV. However, the price of data in Nigeria does not make this a viable option for most. There is lack of unlimited data options in Nigeria. Something that is the norm in most other places. Also, most still access the internet via the data on their phones. Unlike other countries that fiber, cable and wireless internet connections and all providing unlimited data. So streaming services have really picked up steam.
