What exactly do we call humans who find it offensive when you correct a misconception? Is that the kind of innovative leadership you're advocating for? Since when has promoting falsehood and attacking people who make corrections become a worthy virtue? How exactly are you differerent from our dishonourable leaders who you castigate?

If you werent silly as you claim, you would have easily discerned that my comment was strictly to correct a wrong assertion made by the person I quoted regarding the country's debt profile; I wasnt being political by any measure.

Next time you should read to understand and not read to mannerlessly reply people you dont even know. Happy New Year!

happy new year brother, am indeed sorry if you find my choice of word offensive. Been abusive doesn’t resolve the problem back in Nigeria. I like your aggression and rapid response toward me. Nigeria will be an awesome country if people could react with your type of aggression to poor governance and hold there leaders accountable. #God bless this platform#

Over 75% of Nigeria's current debt was actually borrowed by PDP even before PMB won that election in 2015. I'm sure you and many others arent aware of this FACT. If you were, you wouldnt have made the above statement placing the entire debt blame on the laps of APC. These figures are freely accessible to the reading public in the DMO website.

It quite unfortunate people like you make silly comment on such platform. You need to see and think beyond living within the shores of Nigeria stop been political. Both the present and latter government got no ambitious for the future generation. They both have failed the nation , instead of borrowing why not develop an enabling environment with the right system to generate revenue. Leaders in the west think outside the box to generate revenue and not inflict debt on generations. #been political doesn’t help the country. Apc or Pdp wouldn’t fix our country. People in there lack the innovation, capacity and zeal to make Nigeria great.

Well said my brother,educate them
uchedydy:

I cry when I see comments like this.

Let me take time out of my busy schedule to educate you. That forex you think the common ma dont care about, is the reason he either buys rice at 100 per cup, or 50 per cup, because the rice we buy is largely imported.
For an import dependent country like ours, forex is evrything, i did a quote for 1.2million for a client at 320 naira per dollar. now, dollar is 365 or 370, tell me how to deliver on that without eating on the profit margin which would have paid one of my staff, and if it continues like ds, i would sack one staff, meaning one of the common ma on the street that ddnt care about forex has lost his job. Do you now see the relevance of dollar to our daily lives.
As far as we continue to import items like bad, then dollar can be as important as the air you brethe.

Hope you are educated now....plz educate others and dont be among those who shout without brain.

Gracias!!!!! Edited cos a good mind advised me to....well done, just that some comments some persons post on this niaraland can be so so annoying.

Am not for any political party ,I stand for good governance regardless of the party .my point is nigerians can do more than blaming the government . The people are the government, it time we stand and take responsibility By adding values to peoples life socially and morally ,charity begins at home
onatisi:

All this is meaningless now. You should have said all this during the time of gej ,most likely this nation will not be in the precarious situation she is in now.

Good morning my fellow Nigerians, after reading most of your comments , I agree with some of the vital points made but my problem are : people are always fast to blame the government for everything , and also forget we all have roles to play as citizens ,we shy away from our responsible in contributing to the development of the country, the government can't do it alone , they need us and we need them for things to work. Look at developed countries they are the pace setter.
1. The people are the government
2. All we do is come on social media to bad mouth the government and forget to do our part as citizens.(social responsibility)
3.i plead do not use abusive words on my comment regardless of your opinion, thank you.

Honestly that's a very good question , same question goes why didn't mr Jonathan diversify our economy? My point is Government is continous regardless of the political party another government can come in to diversify the economy. Our primary objective is one (make Nigeria great) in respect of the government
anonimi:

can you please tell us why Buhari and other military DICTATORS including Obasanjo did not fund the railways with "Nigeria resources and revenues" until our hero of democracy showed up in 2010?
Thanks.

No offence but this is just typical Nigeria mentality, we corrupt our minds with political parties ,the rail way project was funded from Nigeria resources and revenues , no one cares about the government who implemented the project , but we should encourage more of such .

Buying a product made in Nigeria # is definitely a good way to develop an economic ,brands like Innoson motor should do more to penetrate into the market and also compete with existing brands ,they need a good marketing strategy to do that , they should focus on striking a deal with the federal government for them to gain competitive advantage.
As a buyer am entitled to my choose of preference on a product , a seller can't force me to buy his product , he can only attract me to his products using good marketing strategies.

Gud question ? You don't patronise a product that is yet to be tested and proven good , Innoson motor should take there cars to the Senate House for them to patronise then others can follow
logica:
...and why should Lagos buy from Innoson? Do they have plants in Lagos? What is Lagos benefiting from Innoson?

Politics / Re: BBC Laments Over Nigeria's Fuel Scarcity As #End fuel crisisnow Trends by bouncesmail(m): 3:35pm On Apr 05, 2016
The fuel scarcity is really bad and the government needs an instant short term solution for now till the refineries are working effective, I know most nigerians will easily throw the blame of the current fuel scarcity at BUHARI , it obvious lots of Nigerians dnt know the exact reason for the scarcity but yet blame the government , all we need is solutions and not giving BUHARI sticks . Same problem for decades with our oil and gas sector .
