Myfavour22: No date is going to be released anything, it’s not up to 6 months that they’ve been denied, hence why they can’t see dates. That’s the rule this rule don't work like that anymore. They just have to send a mail to us embassy if its a matter of urgency. Waiting that 6 months doesn't work anymore. U can even see date 3 days after ur previous denial |

Agents dont have any power or authority to manufacture dates. They all check 4 times a day like the rest of us. Stop paying agents to check date for you because of stories that touches the heart. |

Isyberry: Good evening everyone. Hope you had a great day.
Please, I need clarity. The agent I used for getting a closer date sent me an appointment confirmation slip yesterday, and it says my interview date is now 28th Feb. I was super excited, only for me to check the date on my profile on US.Gov this morning, it was still the August 2023 date that is still displaying. I called him to understand, but he said that's how they do it, I should relax, not to worry, and just come for the interview on that day. Have I not been scammed like this? Please house. What is the implication? Is this how it goes?
You know when the VO start checKing the system, won't S/he accuse me of fraud, that I am not supposed to be interviewed that day? You probably have been scammed...the appointment date confirmation mail you were sent must reflect and have the same information in ur dashboard. If your profile still shows august 2023 till now. Then ur interview date is still august 2023. Whatever ur agent sent to u is nonsense. I'm pretty sure he just edited it and sent to you maybe because u have been on his neck since. |

MyFlair: Well, I won’t mention the school. But it is a PhD in engineering in a university in new york. I graduated 2012. I wrote Gre and toefl. Fully funded offer
I’m yet to get my I-20, can I book appointment as I am expecting it in 4weeks time? And I was told the I-20 is going to be electronic(pdf). Will that be accepted ? You don't even deserved to be answered at all. You are being secretive but u still want people to assist you in ur own application, does that even make sense to u? |

LawyerBB: Good morning everyone, Please I have a convention by September 2023 in US and am given a 2024 date for interview. What can I do to get a date for this year? I was advised to get an agent, that I would get a date, how true? Any advice on what to do You dont need an agent for anything. He/she won't do anything special because he will still do the normal thing all visa applicants do which is searching for dates...apply for EA and hope it gets approved. If it does get approved u need to be checking daily for earlier dates...mind you, you are restricted to check ur portal 4 times a day. |

tbh2053: So, it means I can go to the embassy in February, even though school starts in September? Not quite, you need to pay the necessary fees and get started checking out for dates to get an appointment for ur interview. Since we are in january and ur admission is for fall, you will surely need to apply for EA and hope it gets approved. Start with the necessary payments first. One step at a time |

Kennethprior: Boyco please should I use bank rate or aboki rate to calculate it because I am working on 21m.
My first question was not attended to plsssss Bank rate because that's the official rate and its the one they will use when converting it to their currency and secondly, i really don't have the answer to the other question, probably the more knowledgeable experts here can assist on that. |

No agent can magically create date, them too spend time on the site waiting for available dates to show up...i remember when i needed a date and i almost paid 150k to one agency, i was lucky enough to get sense and checked dates for myself till i got a closer date before my program resumption next year summer. I repeat, agents cant manufacture dates. They do what everybody else is doing, which is checking the sites constantly and get paid for it. |

Najdorf: Hey guys! I hope this thread is still active.
I need some advice and guidance. I finished secondary school last year(2021) and my plan is to start my undergrad fall of next year in the US. For the most part I have all the processes related to my application handled. Now, I want to know how I can start preparing for what comes after my acceptance letter.
Here are my questions: 1. How soon should I start the visa application process? What can I start doing right now to minimise any potential problems that might arise from the interview?
2. My international passport expires next year, how long does it usually take(in months or weeks) to renew it?
Cheers! 1: start ur visa application process immediately your school sends you ur i20. Pay attention to the details you fill in ur visa application bcus everything has to tally with whatever you say in the interview, and also dont lie about having any close relative abroad, they know and also have all the information they need. 2: doesnt take much to renew, you can even get it as fast as 3 days if you know someone inside ( you have to pay for it sha) |

Lasisieniola77: I think the reason why most people decided not to share again was because, there was a time when someone said people should stop dropping their transcripts and again when people seek for help, those that has the experience don't even offer to help again unlike before where you can easily come here and share your troubles and people will be ready to help. You can see that there has been alot of unanswered questions on the group. Although, we know that is not by force to help but please those that have gone through that route should assist. This is very true...a girl asked a very important question a while back which i actually related to and wanted to see a reply and no one answered ...and also nobody shares transcript anymore, which was the obvious reasons people came to this page. Its sad. |

Talata24: You should get a ‘cost of attendance’ from the school (not here) with a breakdown of what ‘fees’ means. And tuition is different depending on which program you’re in so ask your school.
My guess is that 55k does not include accommodation and feeding because that’s a variable cost depending on the individual student The course advisor sent me a link stating tuition and fees for texas residents is 27k and out of state residents is 55k, then when i went to the website i will use to start applying for i20, i saw where they stated tuition, accommodation, feeding and other expenses all falls under 44500 dollars for our of state residents. So i HV been confused because im just seeing different figures and don't even know the one to follow. |

Please i have a question, just admission for a masters course in university of texas at san Antonio (UTSA) and i saw the tuition and fees is about 55k dollars. Im confused because i want to know if tuition and fees means all expenses like accommodation, feeding, textbooks and the rest or that 55k is only just for school fees. |
