If it was over 14 days the bank auditors will have to mediate and if you don't like the resolution you can then report it as fraud to your nearest police station then take a copy of the police report to the bank and there would be a hold on the BVN number.

I know I let my guards down. So there was this lady who I would call Miss T. She was introduced to me by her senior sister who I knew through a facebook group. Since I told her I needed a girl for a serious relationship, she said she will link me to her younger sister in Akungba, Ondo state.

So, fast forward to when I began speaking with Miss T, she agreed to come to see me in Lagos but complained of not having enough for transport. So due to the recommendation i got that she was a good lady, I sent her N11, 000 as transport.

So after sending her this money, only for her to call me on the eve of the day she was supposed to come. that one of her relative was ill. So I just had this feeling that this was too coincidental to be true.

So I tried to cajole her to return the money since I sensed she was trying to play smart with me. She said no problem. That I can send my account number, which I did. After waiting for 3 days, I chatted her up on whatsapp that I'm yet to see any alert from her. Only for her to tell me she needs money for now.

So I said she is supposed to keep her promise of returning it, after which, she blocked her on whatsapp. I contacted her senior sister who linked us and her response too wasn't satisfactory to me.

So I'm really bitter with how the whole episode played, any chances of me recovering my money? just pained why someone will block me on top of my money. Please help.

Contact the bank ( A simple email will do) first before calling them out, they have 14days to resolve this. If they don't resolve/refund your money with VAT inclusive. Then escalate to CBN complaints email.

The banks has been declaring so much profits by cheating Nigerians because they don't know or act on their rights. You can't pay for a good or service you have not yet received.

I would advise you go and get a police report that your plate number has been stolen before going to the VIO office. There is really no common sense in taking your plate number without dropping a note on the vehicle. Your plate number can be used for robbery and you know exactly what will follow. This also happens in the United Kingdom, you can Google number plate theft.

The first step is to inform the police. There is no difference between them and armed robbers stealing plate number for robbery, the public should be enlightened before armed robbers parade themselves in fake VIO uniform and do the same.

You need to go open an account ASAP if u don't have one and dump the money there for 28days but i think that is really slim right now,But there is another way out you can as well pay all your tuition fee and accommodation fee and tell the school to send you a proof in regards to this.Doing that will make it better so all you need in your account after this is just the maintenance fund in your account.Do the maths School in London is 7,400 for accommodation and maintenance,Outside london is 5,400 for A and M so pay for accommodation and the remaining balance drop it in your account if you can.
