Already Apapa as being sidelined, keeping quiet will only bury him, he as toll the legal path which is condemnable asking him not to take his rightful is tantamount to injustice.

Or lemme ask, Put yourself in Apapa shoes right now and tell me what you will do better
If I were in A papa's shoes, I will keep the court injunction that secures my position judiciously, then play my role diligently as a loyal member of the party if they are not allowing me to assume my legitimate office and wait for the case to favour us (LP) before I strike with my legal document/back up

What do you think?

Since court as reinsta%ted Him as the legitimate Chairman of LP, do you expect Apapa to relocate to iyana ipaja and eb baby siiting grand kids or be helping Peter Obi to carry bag

All it takes to figure these whole issue out is just to put yourselves in Apapa shoes.
You gave 25yrs to a party and someone just take that away from you, people who don't even know you started or manage to build up just take away everything just like that

Apapa had to wait for the court judgement which did not come until after the elections ... Peter Obi/LP can't respect the court decision but they are always quick to criticise APC.
So, do you think it's wise for him to spoil the brawl and they all go back to their default state of irrelevance (25 years fa because after Apapa as an axis in Lagos here, I did not know any other Apapa until few days ago) or they amend internally while he uses diplomacy to restore his position in the party huh

They could have but Obi went to far.
He has tried for the party and I will say he singlehandedly made them a third force, but politics is about a personal interest.
He went to Rivers State and begged Wike to give him president and he will make him win the gubernatorial, this is the height of selfishness, the party gave you the ticket but you want to destroy the party chances just for ur own gain.
My brother, forget say Obi make them 3rd position, it is obvious he is not helping to build the party, If the party had not given him the ticket, Obi wouldn't have been a presidential candidate and he won't even be anywhere as loved as Osinbajo cos Wike would have ended his political career, he owes LP for giving him that platform

People like Apapa is trying to fight that Monopoly from Obi.
As at that time, he had 14 other political platform he would have approached and anyone of them would have blown just like LP did....as at that time, sdp and nnp we're more popular than lp, so what are we saying?

It wasn't even obi's fame that gave the that relevance, it was the readiness of Nigerians to welcome a viable third force and he keyed in.

Saying apapa fighting Monopoly in this instance is a bad wisdom....apapa will gain nothing if they withdraw the case from the court, he can only gain if they win the court case

richmond500:
just because he made them 3rd does not mean other players should be sidelined, someone has hold the party for long, you just came and tried to ditch them away.
This is the same reason Wike fought Atiku.
And it is the same reason Obi left PDP cos Wike sidelined him.

Obi is doing to LP what Wike did to him
Well, I think it is better they resolved their internal issue instead of washing dirty linen publicly.

I don't know how obi has been subduing them tho apart from one governor in one state they claimed he imposed and I don't think that is enough for them to withdraw a case file that has life....it doesn't add up at all

There are alot of people who are really angry about the way Obi got the LP ticket.
Some of them have been sidelined by Obi and they feel they have hold the party for too long to lose it to him.
Knowing fully well that Obi sold the gubernatorial candidate in Rivers state and was busy frolicking with Aisha and other new decampees while ditching out the real people that gave him the ticket is an insult, a big party figure like Apapa will not be happy with this development
Well, I don't know how much this is true but my instinct is still telling me that no right thinking human being, most especially will be willing to lose the only opportunity he has to step up his game and just wake up one day and throw it to the dogs just because he felt cheated or override

Had it been lp did not come up with obi, do you think they would have gotten votesmore than kwankwanso 1 million plus...go and ask sdp and the likes.

They were lucky to be a relevant party in the tribunal, they wouldn't want to blow that for flimsy reasons

he is fighting for his right the man has been a LP member all his life and Obi came a year ago and want to hijacked the party from him how possible is that
Igbo and their dominant attitude and that same attitude is the reason why they are loser in everything and will continue to be loser
I don't know if this is his grudge tho but it's not worth it. Obi emerging president is the biggest way their party and even himself can be relevant so why should he tackle someone thast they unanimously presented as their candidate and got to this level.

Not even when they are able to go this far?

Has Apapa ever thought they would even be this close?

Without obi as their candidate, I don't think apapa would have gotten to this level...the story that surrounds Obi's mandate surpasses LP, Apapa, Obi and even the Obidients.

It's what Nigeria really needs as at now just that the circumstantial lamb, obi didn't really size up with the task ni

This man if allowed to be the LP national chairman will withdraw the petition against APC/tinubu, and congratulate the president select.
As a chairman, u don't have the sole right to do that, it must be the collective agreement of the party structure.

The case was not filed in the court by the Chairman but by Labor Party in conjunction with Obi.

So, in case if he withdraws on behalf of the party which is largely impossible, Obi still has his case to follow up

A part of me tends towards what you are saying... But the man's utterances and body language have been constantly at variance with nearly everything the party stands for.

It even feels like he is trying to sabotage the party's candidate.
That is my exact point...can he survive in withdrawing THE OBIDIENTS last hope from the only platform? The answer is big NO! except he wants to replace that with everything he is.

I don't think he will be willing to take such risk, something that will not even fly....I guess there is a Mix up, misconception somewhere, that's what I don't know yet.

He can't try to singlehandedly withdraw a case registered by over 6 million Nigerians without consent.

May be his rivals in the party are the ones misconceptualising his words and actions so as to paint bad and nail him. Just thinking tho

No, he’s the recognized Lp chairman for now cuz Abure has been sacked..

The case is still in court tho, I think the final judgements is this months..

He doesn’t want Obi to withdraw his case or anything. He’s been a Loyal Lp member for more than 20 years.

All these noise doesn’t stop anything. He’s surely the Lp chairman cuz he’s case at court is valid and Abure don even enter court issue, aside from the sacking..
Thanks for the enlightenment
But the grey area is, why is he clamouring for withdrawal... I don't understand that part
