How will you give a child with pulmonary hypertension say 15mg of Sildenafil once or twice daily for 1 month and the available form is the 100mg tablets? And this child needs to take it in suspension form.
I know you will tell me to just divide the tablets...

There are many options to RX of pulmonary HTN in children and adults...bearing the cause in mind... That bn said tell me how u made the diagnosis.. Since u wanna treat

The question is not childish perhaps u may not know how important it is...
Most doctors shd be able to pick mumurs and attempt grading them...
The pointer is to know when to refer the patient to a specialist... Cardiologist.... Not a consultant pharmacist..

They don't touch people's skin? Well you are only limited to the hospital setting. And you don't know the content of those books. What does assessment mean? Doesn't it involve some physical examination?
See, if you want to touch all the patient's body parts and do your surgeries, you can go ahead, nobody is dragging that with you but know that pharmacists also do examinations in the community setting.

You guys should try to at least know the competencies of those you work with na, haba!

A teaching hospital is not "a community".. You can do all that in absence of a hospital pls... And refer patients ASAP

Oga, they don't produce drugs in hospitals... I don't know why ppl will study pharmacy in Nigeria and choose to dispense drugs as a living... Fight to contribute more in management of patients in nigeria
