Nairaland GeneralRe: What Is The Problem Of Chic's Even The Mature Ones Do The Same Thing by brainchild78(m): 12:39pm On Apr 28, 2012
you see where there is a demand there will always be a supply. these pics are the basis of attracting attention to themselves from guys. But the key question 1 should ask is wut kind of attention are tthese ladies seeking? it is definitely not the positive type.
BusinessRe: Campaign To Incite Seun To Sell Ad Space To Private Businesses On NL by brainchild78(op): 10:30am On Apr 28, 2012
Seun: I'm planning to sell adverts on "slices" of Nairaland, where a slice of Nairaland represents a fixed percentage of Nairaland's traffic. What do you think about this?
very good incentive. however, i recommend that you do not limit your site to this option. be more flexible and offer multiple options like facebook's advertising schemes to enable you to derive maximum profit. This way you can accomodate different budget capacities of many businesses concerned. At the end every 1 is a winner but you remain the iultimate winner.
Cheers
BusinessRe: Campaign To Incite Seun To Sell Ad Space To Private Businesses On NL by brainchild78(op): 10:22am On Apr 28, 2012
@stagger google adsense is far more profitable to google.com as opposed to the website owner who enables the ads on his/her site. google pay a fraction of a cent for each click (i.e. 0.10 cents per click). If 100 cents = 1 dollar than at the rate of 0.10 cents per click, a website owner would have to realise up to 1000 clicks just to realise 1 dollar.

Private ads on the other hand generates a lot more depending on the site owner's negotiating skills.
BusinessRe: Campaign To Incite Seun To Sell Ad Space To Private Businesses On NL by brainchild78(op): 10:09am On Apr 28, 2012
bendazum: With the idea of inciting you or forcing your hand to act contrary to your nature.Resist them and they will flee from you.
No 1 is forcing Seun to sell ad space. It is just a kind suggestion to enable him to generate more income taking into consideration the amount of traffic he brings in. Nairaland was rated as the most visited site in 2011. Would it give you joy if you fellow Nigerian (like Mr Seun) was amoung the world's top social network billionaires in the ranks of Zukerberge and Murdock.

It seems that we detest change here in Nigeria. Like Aristotle said: "it is understandable if a child is afraid of the dark. However, it is absolutely unforgivable if men are afraid of light."
BusinessRe: Campaign To Incite Seun To Sell Ad Space To Private Businesses On NL by brainchild78(op): 9:58am On Apr 28, 2012
bendazum: I totally disagree with this idea.Who is brainchild to tell Oga Seun what to do.Oga Seun may profit from adsense and mind you nairaland can decide to be different. That is what makes it unique.I urge Oga Seun to dissociate himself from this.He has made his mark in sands of time with people like Mandela whose selfless service to humanity is unparalled.I rest my case. NB:Incase you don't see me again, know that I have been BANNED.
I can see that you are short sighted and thus have a myopic perspective. Whether any 1 likes it or not, services enjoyed by the masses runs on charges. Google adsense is not the best means of generating revenue for the running of this site as one would have to generate up to 100,000 clicks to receive minimum payment. Selling private ad space is more profitable to the owner of this site. This is exactly what keeps sites like facebook and twitter up and running and generating billions of dollars annually.

very foolish move. Madrid does not pay him a dime and he has elected to risk his future over profitless supoport for a team that may even despise for even his race. What a wise move indeed.

BusinessRe: Dapo Solanke Owner Of Mega Assets Where Is My Money O? by brainchild78(m): 8:34am On Apr 23, 2012
This is very sad and I always endeavour to tell people be very careful of these many bogus schemes. They are money vacuums sucking your hard earned income. To be sincere, in order to truelly succeed in this day and age is through having access to correct information. In many cases such information is readily available for free.

As the saying goes, if anything sounds too good to be true then it is in fact too good to be true. Whether we like it or not knowledge reigns supreme and is king.

Its very sad that you fell victim to such a bogus scheme. The truth is that in order to succeed in this day and age you must avail yourself to the right (genuine/authentic) information. Whether we like it or not knowledge is king.

There are many people accross the globe making handsome earnings for themselves silently and the interesting thing is that they are average people. Alot of money making opportunities on or offline do not require any form of initial capital but rather require an idea, access to correct information, and ultimately a positive frame of mind. If you interested in getting more information, visit the link in my signature below.
Cheers and wishing you abundant success.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Seun: You Must be Losing Money from Ads by brainchild78(m): 8:02am On Apr 23, 2012
I totally agree that he must be loosing money from ads and I strongly recommend that he sells ad space to private businesses on this site. This will enable him to realise alot more than the google adsense scheme that pays peanuts. Seun could potentially be the Zuckerberge of Nigeria if he sharpens up.

From what I can observe, the poster was jilted because of lack of exposure to the right kind of information. Its okay though as I like to describe such experiences as a learning process. Even the most successful business persons in the world have failed at one point in their life. The stuff the poster was doing for another person could have been done for himself. There 4 essential things this poster needs to forge ahead independently
1. A pc (used desktops are sold at N5,000 to N20,000)
2. A modem for internet access
3. A smart phone in the nature of a blackberry, nokia E65, samsung chat etc.
4. Access to authentic information

With the above resources one is equipped to start generating income online independently the correct way. To find out more, visit the link in my signature below

well one thing that I certainly know is that the SAN hired in this matter is going to pocket alot of money in the name of legal fees. But the question I put forward is whether the SAN in question is competent enough to take on the challenge or whether he is another cerimonial nonentity.

you have to put your fears aside and focus. don't bother about trying to find the right lady. she will come along when you least expect. the great mistake many make is trying to find love insteading of allowing to find you.

It has come to my attention that Nairaland is amongst the most popular websites in Nigeria. This factor opens doors for a lot of financial opportunities. However, on close observation of the site it appears that Mr Seun is not tapping into the many resourses available. I have therefore put a request that he alots ad space to Nigerian Businesses interested in advertising on this site. It would definitely ensure that there is enough funding to keep this site running as well as give local businesses a platfo
