NDDC staff don't care to create an account here to calm frayed nerves. I will suggest that we channel our energy on a social media crusade aimed at pressuring them to release our list. We've done enough of the blame games.

Well, for our information, PTDF is contacting her 'successfuls' tomorrow.

I follow their twitter handle. They gave us empty words 12 days ago because they wntd candidates to stop asking for the list, but u are here saying they apologized and immediately took action. Do u knw wot immediately means? Today is August 30th, OSS candidates are still waiting for d list today. Some schools hv even resumed, most will resume on Monday, 4th Sept. It has become totally unfeasible to start this September and many schools in the UK don't hv January start. I also follow the nairaland thread, they said notin, they ddnt even respond to the mails pple sent to them. So Pls don't make any other attempt to laud them because PTDF has failed. They hv allowed their incompetence to significantly affect everybody that was tested.

If PTDF is still being castigated (not that I'm praising them) after tweeting and later contacting those for the LSS, then NDDC deserves worse.
To be candid, for UK, schools in the Russell group and other highly ranked schools don't have January intakes. If scholarships are to be awarded, then a timeline must be set and strictly adhered to.
I wouldn't want to leave for any much room school. NDDC should just do the right thing.

PTDF has contacted successful applicants for the LSS only those for OSS haven't known their fate. Test and interviews for both NDDC and PTDF were organized at almost the same period. While the former deems it fit to issue apologies via tweets, the latter just keeps mute - it's pathetic.

Flexisaf, the company that organized the test for PTDF created an account on nairaland to help calm applicants. They even left their helpline. But PTDF and its test organizers seem not to give a damn. What's their media department doing?

This current NDDC board led by Nsima Ekere the MD is d worse ever...scholars from 2014, 2015 and 2016 are facing hell with payments, for 12 months all PhDs in 2015 set has not seen upkeep and tuition, only few have seen payment from 2016 set, nobody is saying anything or picking calls from scholars or thier universities.This has never happened in d history of NDDC. SO BE READY TO WORK URSELVES OUT LIKE SLAVES N FACE HELL IN A FORIEGN LAND.

Seems to me this. MD will. Be the most corrupt NDDC Chairman.
1. He deliberately refused to pay candidates their transport fare, for the first time in four years
2. He is already having issues with Governors on executing projects without consulting them
3. He has been quoting huge sums of money being defrauded without due deligence
4. He accused some of changing schools thus the delay in paying their fees. Meanwhile NDDC advised most of these students to change their institutions for some reasons.
5. He has not been transparent for the first time compared to other MDS. He never published CBT scores for candidates to see and compare with their mates from same state. Thus they can manipulate and favour those that will bribe him
6. He'll not last because those who are corrupt will face the wrought of men and God.
7. I pray he doesn't fiddle with mine.
God help us all!

My dear, your points look credible. What's difficult in compiling names when scores from interviews and tests are there for everyone to see? Imagine if someone had borrowed money for TP to PH on the grounds of repayment after the interview. The embarrassment could have been monumental.

Please, someone should let those @NDDC know that the scholarship is meant to help the poor and common folks realize their dreams. It shouldn't be an avenue to settle their political cronies. The rich have enough money to send their kids abroad for crying out loud.

I can't recall how many times that I have read that. I don't really give a damn whether it's food for thought or food for the belly. All we want NOW is the list.

On a serious note, that's good news cos our funds wouldn't be misappropriated while the beneficiaries are suffering abroad.

I am highly disappointed in PTDF. I have made the payment sum of #165,000 to my school because of deadline and till now nothing good is coming out from ptdf. Visa Appointment is no longer possible this year for Germany, and studies commences October. PTDF why?

A committee sat last Thursday to decide on the eventual nominees. The list is gonna be out before the end of the month ( that's what I was told).

LSS hopefuls may not feel the heat, afterall ASUU just commenced strike so where would they be in a hurry to go? So those ones could be "patient" and not call out PTDF to act fast.

But for OSS hopefuls like me, our case is different. In fact, I received a mail few minutes ago from my school asking what my plans are for fall since semester begins on 28th August i.e. less than 2 weeks! So even if the list comes out this week, I may not meet up with the semester. Afterall PTDF will still do a week of orientation then visa palaver with its attendant wahala, etc.

Sorry bro, it appears delay is synonymous with our beloved country. Those who applied for NDDC are suffering the same fate.
A friend that benefitted from the OSS said that the Visa is made easier and shorter by PTDF( a kind of special arrangement). Which isn't the case when you're a self funding student. However, that doesn't in any way mean that this delay is acceptable. The list should be published, simple.
We'll have a testimony in the long run by God's grace.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. It's my persuasion that a whole lot of those expecting will eventually be awarded. However, due largely to the shortness of time left for both CAS and VISA, it's pertinent that NDDC as a body presents her beneficiaries for VISA. That's likely gonna hasten the process, anything to the contrary would be detriment to our objectives and amounting to resuming late.

By the way, any information from Mr Godson or the guys @ NDDC?

Nddc is working on it and will publish the list. But for the transport fare for beneficiaries the interview, it is a mere speculation. No chi-chi for anybody

Last year's fare was paid at the venue; I was a beneficiary. Much as we may not like to admit, not all interviewees will benefit eventually. Therefore, the fare should be refunded ( I know NDDC will stand on its words). That isn't my major concern though.

I'm rather more concerned about September that's fast approaching. The most auspicious time for the list and the briefing is August. Most of our programs are due to commence in September. This is just hoping that they're conscious of that fact and the list gets released this week.

That said, I wish you guys the best as you await anxiously for the list of beneficiaries.

Interviews were concluded on Saturday, 29th. It'd probably take a week or two before the list is published.

Please, did NDDC publish the list of candidates and their scores this year? The way things are happenings shrouded. Last year was open and transparent. You see scores of those selected and you are convinced but this year. I didn't see the list nor the info on their site.
Secondly how many people are going to be sponsored this year. Last year was clearly stated.

I strongly join my faith with yours. Most of the schools are commencing their programmes in September. August is the best time for the briefing. Besides, PTDF works and ensures those for September start as expected; this is expecting that NDDC will do same.

It hurts to see someone who scored less than you being invited for the interview. However, we have to factor in a couple things, perhaps the guy could be from a field where the general performance was low. I got an invite with 25 last year for Project Management, a friend in a Geography allied course scored same and was invited this year. I learnt of another lady in Management Science who wasn't invited even with 30. I'd suggest we should be optimist; it's gonna turn out good. Let's leave APC out of this and believe God for the best.

We shall meet at the briefing in August.
For those who didn't make it to interview. 'Retrategize', widen your options to other scholarships, while also starting early prep for next year. Be rest assured that God has great plans concerning you and they'll be fulfilled with or without NDDC.

Well, the essence of this thread is for information dissemination, creation of Whatsapp groups were wrong ab initio. That said, no two interviewees would be asked exactly the same questions. For those asking for Management Sciences - it's gonna start on Friday.

My friend in Agric scored 34/50, last year he scored above 30 too. He made it to the interview but wasn't awarded eventually. This is hoping that this year will be better for all of us.
