@OP, this is 2018....Get a portable spy cam or install a CCTV and conceal it. If those are too expensive, I believe you have a smart phone. Clear the storage, set vid-recording to low quality and try capture the parts you expect the drops to appear. Or you can use a lappy too with enough HDD...Start recording minimize and set the screen to go off, but not the PC to sleep or hibernate..

Its an app that came with the phone...check your app drawer(I.e list of apps).

Yels... for those having notification issues on android nougat like myself, I think I just got the fix, try it out and let us know the outcome, my app is been alerting faster since yesterday.

Step 1: Go to app permissions in settings, then special access, then battery optimization, locate "fiver" click on it and set it to not optimized.

Step 2: Under the same app permissions, locate unrestricted data access, look for "fiverr" and ensure to remove restriction, click on the toggle to change it to blue (in my case)

Step 3(optional): Got to notifications in settings, locate "fiverr" click on it and toggle the override do not disturb in order to give its notification higher priority even when your profile setting is on DND.

step 4 (most important): In your menu look for this app "phone master", its the main guy causing the wahala. Open the app and go to auto-start management, ensure you change "fiverr" from prohibited to allowed. (And if you are like me and your only important social media na NL, you can prohibit the insta-wateva and FB so that your ram will not cry too much).

step 5 (still important): Go back to the landing page of the "phone master", top right corner click on the gear symbol, click protected apps, check "fiverr" so its protected, and as before you can uncheck the insta and FB.

I think that should solve the issue, other android versions having same issue can follow the guide, they should be similar.

The next hurdle for me now na how to make the notification ring for longer, the phone just lets the music I set as notification, play for only about 10secs, that can't wake me up at say 3AM na >:

Please, I need inputs from experienced freelancers on Fiverr here. I have an account on Fiverr, which I opened in October last year. But I have not been opportune to create gigs on it; I just created the account and left it there because I regularly operate on Freelancer.

I now have time to manage both accounts and created a gig on my Fiverr account. However, when I visited the "Buyer Requests" page, it stated that "No requests found."
Please, what could be responsible for this? I only have one gig on the Fiverr account at present.

Also, ensure you selected the "right" gig category of the service you are offering oh. With correct tags and all too.

Stay online as much as possible and refresh the buyer request page.

I strongly think we should create another thread for fiverr reviews and exchanges. All what we have on this thread are now reviews and different resellers. No information on how to improve our business on fiverr and when one posts such, it gets overtaken by the seller of reviews and exchangers adverts.

I think when we create a separate thread, we might need the moderators to help us remove all messages that does not relate to selling on fiverr on this thread.

There is already a currency exchange market, I don't know why they spam this place like this.

If you are certain network is okay, clear the cache and data of Fiverr app once you notice this.

Yeah, I read its the nougats power management stuff.

Once the app is not a big name like WhatsApp, FB messenger etc....it kills the background process and push notification functionality.

Very sad story....D stupid fone nor know say na fiverr money I take buy am.

Abeg, my fiverr app is not sending notifications o. Except when I intentionally open it and lock the phone while its displaying. Even at that, it delays.

But you know not all the time will you remember to open the app before locking screen.

My previous device (a tab running on a previous android version) had no issue at all o. You can even close the app for hours, once fiverr notification come e go halla you.

I don't know if its the android 7.0 (nougat) this one runs on oh. Cos I read something like that somewhere.

Who has experienced the same thing and can suggest a fix, biko ?

You're correct, one has to be careful not to charge too low on a job that's worth so much.
I should have mentioned that the first $5 order from BR was for a mockup that I simply downloaded online and made minor adjustment.

3D graphics does take time and effort like you say. In the time it might take me to complete one job, someone from another niche may complete 20 orders in the same time. One of the reasons for this is that these niches benefit from the use of presets/templates.

That's why I created another gig for just product mockups - all I do is place a label/artwork on a pre-existing model and that's it. The only time I take on a more complex job now is if the buyer agrees to a sensible price.

Nice approach, will look into making one gig like that.

I started selling june 2017 after reading through most of this particular thread.

Got my firsit job through the buyer requests section - my strategy, as suggested on one of the early pages, is to quote $5 for requests just to attract buyers.

Once you complete that first job to the satisfaction of your buyer chances are you'll get 5 star reviews easily and attract new/repeat buyers.

I never used that $5 method when I was a customer of BR section. Before person go order slave order.

Also, I once lost a job because my bid was "too low" ($70). The guy contacted me and was asking while mine was low cs others where charging 200+ for the job. Tho, I tried to explain that I was trying to earn a reputation first. The guy just drop one excuse move ahead.

I always try to charge right for any job, cause the time and effort 3D graphics take nor be joke at all oh. Especially when you see what pple make from other niche... E dey somehow.

Anyways, next time tell the person u are going to send compressed file...there's a way you can use winrar to compress and even split the compressed file into smaller sizes for uploads.. depending on the file type too sha. But try it out.

I have only done one outside fiverr delivery and since then I say I nor do again, no matter the error client is complaining about, we will find a way to fix it on fiverr or work around it all on fiverr platform.

If you are lucky and *make a payment* is still active on your account. Do not always send all your funding to exchanger

Use the card to make purchase online/offline stores sometimes

This will convince Payoneer that you are not selling your fund but using it to buy goods and services
