with the President unwittingly triggering consternation in the
wake of his utterance that corruption cannot be fought by
jailing people. Never mind that corruption is a capital
offence in China that is punishable by death and long-term
imprisonment in very many other countries of the world
including the USA with the array of high-tech at its disposal.
Yet Nigeria's President contends that his focus is not set on
punishing corrupt people with imprisonment but on creating
a high-tech system that will disengage when people seek to
divert funds for purposes other the ones they are meant for.
What a joke! The President doesn't seem to ask himself
what high-tech system would stop a government officer
from collecting kickbacks. He doesn’t seem to ask what
system would prevent the inflation of contract costs. He
doesn't seem to ask what system would stop officers from
seeking gratifications before the award of contracts etc.
etc. This is the extent of the boundless intelligence of a man
ruling over Africa’s most populous nation.

THE USE OF A GOOD SUCKERS

The type of sucker you.make use of can make or mar your plantain farming business.
I have seen a lot of suckers being use by plantain farmers,reason why most of them do not have result to show for it.

If you are actually serious about making good profit,then you need to source for good suckers.


From my experience,what i have seen 90% of farmers use is the suckers in the first picture.

The disadvantages of the suckers in the first picture is that it takes longer time for it to start bringing leaves meaning that time of harvest will.be between 12 to 14 months before harvesting.

Haba guy 14 months??! I just googled and they are perennial crops (3 years n above) in IITA ibadan site n some other sites.

This is the story of a man that started with just 3 plots and now have over 20 acres of plantain farm within 3 years.With persistency,focus he was able to achieve so much.

Now a making lots of money from plantain.

I thought plantain was a biennial crop. Going from 3 plots to 20 acres after one harvest is hard to believe.

He also said BUHARI jailed someone for 301 years (yes he said years.) although someone corrected him from among those behind him he went on to say "301 years" in the course of his speech (which betrayed anger) two more times. He forgot that you say things you regret later when you talk in anger. I think the efforts of the opposition is getting to him.
