Nigerian men I believe have heard these kind of dialogues growing up far too many times, and therefore do their dating and mating selections in a way they are not caught up in this loop of egoistic women.

I worked under female senior managers and many of them acted very disrespectful to office assistants using all sorts of fake foreign accents to ridicule them. It’s hard to find financially independent male senior managers doing same thing to office assistants. The "terribleness" of the female SM was due to "attitude" as a result of power/wealth/position, and we had more cases of female SM’s slapping drivers. If you doubt me try and join the Uber thread and most negative riders feedbacks come from the so called “financially independent women”.

Also women generally have what I refer to as “follow the flock” mentality when dating, they do what their friends do, more like a social construct they must follow, they have been societally conditioned to date up and anything short of that is a no no...(reason why when a woman says she is going to use the toilet others follow). There are loads of fakers, who simply copy a behaviour, but have no unique persona.

Nigerian men don’t have big ego at such, given the opportunity I bet an Okada guy would gladly go on a date with a bank cashier.
So before you ask us to fix our huge ego and low self esteem, maybe you should ask Nigerian women not to treat their not so well off partners with utter disdain, because if I understand you correctly you seem to be saying financially independent Nigerian women are single because of the ego and low self esteem of Nigerian men and their big need to use money as a form of control in a relationship.

OP on a serious note, how financially independent are you on a scale of 1-10.

After a careful observation of the brand of Christianity being practiced in America and Nigeria, I have come to the conclusion ( as I am sure many of you will ), that Christians, especially the Pentecostal and evangelical denominations, are the No 1 hypocrites worldwide


1. They are against abortions but they support the massacre and killing of babies and pregnant women in the middle east and elsewhere
2. They are against fraud but they steal billions from poor people all over the world in the name of tithe and seed
3. They are against homosexuality, but they are the No 1 in adultery, philandering, lust, and pornography
4. They are against adultery but they support Donald Trump a serial adulterer and the multitude of adulterous pastors nationwide
5. They are against oppression and injustice but they support injustice against the Palestinians and other minority groups who are not Christians
6. They pay millions to their Pastor every month but could care less if their neighbor is starving to death
7. They preach about love all day long, but they will slander you and your family when you leave their churches
8. They preach about unity but they are the most disunited group in human history ( over 40 thousand denominations )
9. They call all Muslims terrorists but will not bat an eyelid when American and Saudi Arabia military massacre thousands upon thousands of innocent people in Yemen and elsewhere
10. They support Israel despite its history of injustice, killings, oppression, and marginalization of the Palestinians
11. They preach peace but they love war, especially the final war which is billed to be the most gruesome war in human history called the battle of Armageddon
12. They tell you to love your enemies, but they rain curses and fire on their enemies during Night vigils and prayer sessions
13. They say, love not the world. but then sow the tithe hoping to gain the world, who are they kidding

I am tired of Christians and their double talk, claiming to be all holy and that and yet acting contrary to the will of God

In any case, you need to learn to be tolerant. All religious books contain what may pass to logical thinkers as a load of rubbish but that doesn't mean we would go out there and start calling them stupid and hopeless.
