I'm happy I made a decision to go to Vietnam, despite a lot of discouragement and skepticism. in less than a week of getting here, I have secured a job that would be make me more than 2000 dollars a month (that's over a million naira in naija o).

Apart from teaching job, there are many business opportunities (I and jendy360 are working on one already)

Thanks to whyNa for opening my eyes to this opportunity.

WhyNa, I must commend your effort and appreciate all you are doing for us, you are a rare gem.

I have been trying to follow in your footsteps by trying to teach English in Vietnam.

Unfortunately, I have been facing a lot refusals in processing my application because I'm from Nigeria.

Recently, this evening, I got a mail (the screenshot is attached) specifically saying I can't get visa , work permit or jobs in Vietnam because I'm a Nigerian.

Please, what to do about this? Is anybody else facing this ish? Any way around it? I'm very much frustrated.

WhyNa and others, please help

Business / Re: 6-step Formula To Create Stampede Of Begging-to-buy Customers Using Facebook by BrandExpert(m): 4:06pm On Dec 16, 2020
Why do you think people don’t buy your product?

I know it’s quite frustrating when you can’t establish the main reason why people don’t buy from you.

When it comes to selling online, people don’t buy for any of these four main reasons:
1. They don’t have the wherewithal (purchasing power)
2. They don’t need your product
3. They don’t have the urgency
4. They don’t trust.

Of all these four reasons, there is little or nothing you can do about the first three. But when it comes to TRUST, there are 1001 things you can do about that.

Anybody who has sold or bought something online knows that trust is a big issue, especially in Nigeria.

Earlier this year, I lost an order of N1 million. The person wanted to order 30 canvas prints @N33k each for his hotel. After a lot of back and forth, the deal didn’t go through because of one major reason, you guessed right, trust. The person had the money, needed the product, was urgent but the trust wasn’t there.

I know a lot of business owners who have lost millions online due to this very reason.

If you are really serious about your business and want to outsell your competitor, you need to build trust.

Mind you, you don’t build trust by saying ‘trust me’, no. Trust building is a gradual process and requires certain techniques.

Trust is the only tool that can take your customer from ‘I don’t trust you’ to shut up and take my money’.

If you master the art of establishing trust very well, you are going to be inundated with as many customers as you can handle. You won’t be the one asking your customers to buy, they will be the one begging you to sell to them.

If you want to learn about the technique of trust building, you need to download and read my recently released book, “The 6-Step Formula to create stampede of begging-to-buy customers using Facebook and Instagram advertising”.

It’s still free till the end of the year.

Business / 6-step Formula To Create Stampede Of Begging-to-buy Customers Using Facebook by BrandExpert(m): 10:16am On Dec 15, 2020
Nothing cripples a business more than lack of sales. I know a lot of promising businesses who have gone under the radar because of this very reason.

Here is the uncommon truth; It's not innovation that determines business success.

It's not having the best product.

Not even the best team.

The major thing that dictates the business success is SALES.

With sales comes revenue, with revenue comes profit, with profit comes other things like innovation, expansion, hiring great talents, among others.

As a business builder (not an owner), the number one thing you need to focus on is how to generate torrential downpour of sales for your business.

Because this is what guarantees continuity and increase in market share.

One of the easiest and surest ways of generating sales for your business is through advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Unfortunately, recently, many people are reporting negative ROI on their ad investment.

I was going through Nairaland one afternoon and I saw someone lamenting. He said and I quote:

“Sometime last year, I could run an ad with N2,000 and would get 5-10 sales but I could barely get 1 sale this year with that amount. So, a colleague, who is also in the business, told me that website option was the best, so I paid to get a website after that. I tried Facebook ads again and I wasted N2, 500 without getting single sales so I ran to Instagram and got 7 sales after spending N3,000. Instagram ads had been working for me until recently, I spent 4k on the same Instagram advert without getting a single sale. If you have any effective way, kindly help me with it”.

Many people like him face this kind of problem; I, too, once faced it.

Let me tell you the truth, advertising on Facebook and Instagram landscape has really changed. 62% of people advertising on Facebook and Instagram report that they get negative ROI on their investments. That is well over half of marketers on the platform.

If you have ever been finding it difficult to generate enough profitable sales on Facebook and Instagram, it's because you are doing it wrong.

As someone that wants to generate sales using Facebook and Instagram, you need to realise three things:

1. Competition is fiercer on Facebook and Instagram.
2. Previously known methods don't work anymore.
3. People are more sceptical (especially in Nigeria).

If one doesn't have a strong sales strategy to navigate these challenges, you will continue to waste your ad spend and sales will continue to plummet.

Having spent millions to run different ads across different niches on Facebook and Instagram and generated over N100 million in sales revenue for my businesses and clients’, I have had quite the experience and I know what works and what doesn’t.

Any business owner that is ready to move his/her business from wherever it is to 5-, 6-, 7, and even 10-figure income generating one, I am ready to show him/her a way.

I recently launched a book titled, “Sales Boom Secrets Exposed: 6-Step Formula to Create Stampede of Begging-To-Buy Customers Using Facebook And Instagram Ads”.

In this book, I exposed the hidden trade secret that can be used to skyrocket sales on Facebook and Instagram.

It saves the time, pain and headache of learning the new way of advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

And the book is 100% free between now and end of December.

the Honda evil spirit does not get old quickly and is a better car than the corolla 2006 by far.It is not also too prone to leg pull.Op it all depends in what u want in a car.If u are particular about fuel economy get the plastic corolla jejely and if u need a powerful ride with fun to drive abeg just buy ur evil spirit i4 and enjoy ur ride because its a sweet ride.if u insist on buying the corolla pls put tracker or if u can park it in ur parlour.lol

Another cycle of Tony Elumelu Foundation application is around the corner. Come 1st January 2019, the portal will be open again to receive applications from entrepreneurs all over Africa. Shortlisted applicants are entitled to seed funding, entrepreneurship training, business development, mentorship, networking, business tools, among others.

Last year, well over 100,000 entrepreneurs/applicants all over Africa applied and they were able to shortlist just 1,250. The number of applicants this year, will, historically, of course, exceed the last year's.

In a way to help, a group has been created for those interested in applying for the coming Tony Elumelu Foundation program. The group's purpose is to evaluate and validate your business idea to increase your chances of being selected. It will guide you through writing a winning grant application, using TEF as a case study.
