Netflix is effectively shooting itself on the foot. With the present intensity in the streaming Wars this is a stupid and wack move. Greed will hurt this people.
Paramount+ just launched days back. And HBOMax going global June and this peeps move is this. Smh. Disney+ already 100 million as at last month's end.

Paramount Plus is a rebranding of CBS All Access, a streaming service that has existed for 6-7 years now. It couldn't hurt Netflix then, it's not gonna hurt it now.

HBO Max has yet to venture beyond the shores of America, therefore it's farcical to consider it a substantial threat to Netflix.

As of now, the only streaming service that could hurt Netflix is Disney Plus.

I used to think this phenomenon is more prominent in Nollywood and a very rare occurrence in Hollywood who act all sanctimonious like vices like that never happens in their world, and when they do, it's in rarity. I'm a bit surprised that it's been business as usual as these years. Naivé me!!

True. But my guts tells me she might become a first rate actress in future especially if she moves to US/Hollywood and work hard. She just might reach that top level.

Depends. Hollywood is a vicious highly competitive world, meaning only the ones that know how to "play the game" usually succeed. An actor could be talented, charming and attractive, with a first class honours in theater arts to match, but these qualifications could add up to nothing in the end, if they are lacking in cynical ruthlessness and desperation.

I mean, it's an open secret in Hollywood that starlets get close and personal with studio head-honchos in exchange for juicy roles in movies. Margot Robbie is talented and beautiful and I respect her a lot, but she likely did a little leg spreading to get to where she is in so short a time. For these starlets, the end justifies the means, but shouldn't something be said about their emotional well-being? How are they coping when no one is around?

Good on the kid if she wanted to pursue a career in acting further down the road, but, I can't resist the urge to contemplate on whether it wouldn't be better for her mental health if she chooses a less mental exhausting vocation.

The child actress was absolutely brilliant and at such a young age. I see that girl going on to achieve so much more. She has huge potentials.

Being a talented child actor doesn't often translate to a first rate actor in adulthood. There are levels to acting and being merely talented is not just enough.
