Secondly, good movies do not always translate to good series. Looking at Wandavision

Disney+ is the fastest growing streaming subscription service, meaning it's currently acquiring more subscribers than Netflix on the daily, per capita.

Disney+ has many heavy-hitters lined up this year. We will see how Netflix holds up... Netflix is probably sweating bullets right now.

WandaVision has been an interesting/tense affair so far.

Nigga, Disney+ launched in 6 countries in the first week, launched in 7 more countries 4 months later, and so on. This is a streaming service with a plan. Consequently, it's not astonishing it acquired 10 million subscribers in only its first day of operation.

Meanwhile, HBO Max had literally one job to do, and still managed to botch it. Lack of 4K support, and no support for the visually impaired has plagued the service since launch. Little wonder it gained a miserly 4.1 million subscribers in its first month of operation.

Furthermore, its marketing misstep - failure to gradually roll out its service internationally in the first 6 months of operation - has hurt its global market share irreparably, and will undoubtedly spend the better part of the next 5/6 years playing catch up to Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and AppleTV.

HBO Max is a small fish in a big pond, and only has itself to blame for its present predicament. No amount of spinning from DC shills will change the facts.

Saw "The Great" to kill time but it turned out to be one of the funniest shows i have seen this year. The satirical approach to Peter II and Catherine's rule of Russia had me laughing all throughout and yearning for a second season and HULU duly obliged.

For real? I haven't really laughed since The Boys ended. It better be worth it, or the blood of my MB will haunt you till eternity.

He's correct. Starts slow in view of the fact that it's essential to get the viewers familiar with the principles, characters, motivations and stakes, then gets great after episode 5, and doesn't stop.

If it's slow in the beginning, I never noticed. I started enjoying it from the very first episode.

First five episodes are kinda slow but things really got going as from the 6th episode so be patient, it is a great watch.
