Aussie accent evolved from British accent, but has it's own identity and dialectical differences that sets it apart from British accents. Thus saying 100% of Australians have British accents is very wrong.

One of the easiest way of telling a Standard British accent from a standard Aussie is this; in standard British accent, the "T" is well enunciated, but in standard Aussie, "T" is pronounced as " D ".

For instance, a Brit will pronounce daughter as dor-ta, but an Aussie will pronounce it as dor-da.

I so much agree with you. I find it puzzling that someone would like what they hate, it kinda looks like an oxymoron(minus the side by side context). Giving good ratings to a movie you hate, shows you liked & enjoyed it.

It's more of being undecided. I for instance am undecided or on the fence, as regards Drama & Romance flicks, but when i see a good movie amongst the 2, i try to give honor when it's due.

There are criteria used to rate a film

1. The logic of the plot

2. The cinematography, visuals and camera work

3 The acting ability of the actors

4. The pacing of the movie

5. The overall themes of the movie

6. The score or soundtracks

Absolutely.

Superhero movies are just white noise to people that hate them. Even if/when their internet ratings are high, to an average superhero movie hater, superhero movies are trash.

Some people are into Animes, and would swore it's the best thing since slice bread, but there are some out there that would liken it to a common cartoon meant for children. At the end of the day, It's boils down to preference and whatnot.

You hate what you hate and like what you like... there's no logic behind it. It is what it is.


PS; if you have good opinions about a movie you allegedly "hate", then you have no real reason to hate that movie in the first place. It implies you're not being honest with yourself.

It's like you don't understand the point of critiquing a movie.

The way I understand it, people have only good things to say about movies that they enjoy, and bad things about those that they don't.

The truth is I'm tired of watching series. I can't even finish an episode anymore. So fed up.

Your dilemma is easy to fix.

If the shows you're following are still airing, then it's easy to take them one at a time, since they don't all air on the same day.

If the shows have finished airing or are binge-release like a typical Netflix or Amazon Prime show, stick to one, and ignore the rest, till you have finished it, only then it's advisable that you allow your attention to pan to the next in line.

Alright i get you now, the problem was with the animation itself. We are kinda alike, just that am more tolerant. The low res animation was equally a turn off to me, it was the main reason i was skeptic about seeing the movie in the first place.

All the same, it's basically a WB thing, they are known for making low resolution animated flicks or better still, cartoonish animations. It's best you avoid em'.
A high resolution animation of that movie would have been total badass.

I wish I can be as tolerant, because for the life of me, I cannot get over the fact that their mouths don't rhythm with audio tracks, or that they have fix stares/dead eyes.

I kinda get your drift. It simply means you don't like R rated animated Flicks. You're kinda more into PG-13 family oriented animations, that's animated movies from Pixar, DreamWorks, Blue sky, etc.

Am sure you don't like animated flicks from Warner Bros, cause I've never seen you give ratings on DC animated movies. WB is know to churn out adult oriented R -rated animated flicks, you might probably want to always avoid em'

That's not what I meant at all.

When I said Pixar-like, I meant high res animations like Toy Story franchise, Minions, Wall-E, The Incredibles, Mowgli... you know, stuff like that. I don't mind gore, as long as it's artful and relevant to the story.

The low res animation used in MK: Scorpion's Revenge is a downer. I was expecting high res stuff like MK 2 cutscenes, instead I got an animation that wouldn't look out of place in a 90s comic book sketch.

It's not worth the hype.

Why is my torrent so slow?

Runs in the region of 225kb/s and thats when its happy.

I use spectranet and my direct downloads are usually around 900kb/s

I thought torrents are super fast.
Any solutions?

I also use Spectranet. The problem isn't from the internet provider, it's from the torrent.

The number of seeders should be higher than the number of leechers. If the the number of leechers are higher, your torrent speed will invariably be abysmal.
