It's always good to check your baby.

Once happened to mine but I caught it in good time before it got out of hand. Even today, after wearing her original stud, she complained it was painful and I promptly removed it.
Business / Re: Eniola Adenuga Storms His Damilola Ogun's House With Over 25 Policemen by Breadfruit: 4:26pm On Jun 07, 2019
Stupid police officers.
All they can do is harass innocent citizens.

When are they going to storm kidnappers' hideouts?
Celebrities / Re: "Barbie Would Be Jealous" - Toke Makinwa Stuns In New Photo (photos) by Breadfruit: 4:24pm On Jun 07, 2019
All of them (Toke, Chika Ike, Ini Edo and Co) are carrying very similar shapes like dolls manufactured by the same maker. Shapes looking so perfect and plastic.

You can do this without it being too obvious. Without looking like a plasticine doll. undecided undecided

Following your statement, you r in a long thing.
You people don't listen to simple instructions.

United securities has their own pattern.Just do it and be free.

I appreciate your answer but I do not appreciate your condescending statement of "you people don't listen". I truly did not understand because I have been getting dividends for a long time now and this is the first time I'm hearing I cannot get my dividend because I bought from secondary market.
I'm not a robot that will move mindlessly at any instruction, would have called but their customer service doesn't exactly have the best reviews.
Was just seeking clarification. Nonetheless, thank you for your help.

Guess this is just USLs process. The bank confirmed your signature for the account number you gave them. Call your brokers and tell them they can even email it to you. It's the simple and fast way going forward so u dont delay your funds

OK thanks so much. I'll do that asap.

ukay2:

Just do what they told u if you want your money.

Mine is 7days my stockbroker sent my tranfer form to cscs...waiting till after 14days before i will call UNITED SECURITIES

atilla:

This is because they dont have a specimen of your signature. Contact ur brokers and sign the forms tell them the shares and registrar you need if for. Follow up till they tell you they've sent

But I already took the forms to my bank for banker's confirmation of signature. The bank stamped on the form and I took it back home and scanned it to United Securities.
The thing is, I don't understand what United Securities want me to do further. Do I call my brokers and tell them I need CSCS stock transfer form? But the stocks are already in my portfolio.
Why is United Securities different,?
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Breadfruit: 4:48pm On May 30, 2019
Hello all.
Kudos on the good job so far.

I tried to submit my edividend form to United Securities today and they were saying I have to get a Cscs stock transfer form as I bought from the secondary market, bla bla.

They are the first to tell me all this Engrish o. I have filled several mandates without issues and have been enjoying my tashere dividends quietly.

Please what is the way forward?
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Breadfruit: 12:21pm On May 23, 2019
Please is it that gtbank bid keeps failing or what? I will put in for the primary market And not get debited? This is like the third time.

Since February that the last one matured?

Marula:

At what rate please?

I usually ask them to bid for me at whatever rate they are bidding for themselves. I guess the bid failed because I've still not been debited.
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Breadfruit: 1:58pm On May 17, 2019
I submitted for the primary market in GTB. I am yet to be debited and they said I'd be debited Thursday evening/Friday morning....
Celebrities / Re: Helen Paul: I Don’t Hate My Father For Raping My Mother by Breadfruit: 4:36pm On Apr 14, 2019
Daeylar:

Rubbish.
There are many people who are do not have a cordial relationship with their fathers due to how badly their fathers may have treated them and not because they were terrible children.
Not everyone subscribes to tolerating abuse and their abuser because "regardless of what your father might have done to you in the past. Your father remains your father" SMH
Some people are actually strong enough to break from from their abusers even if said abuser is their father.

Helen paul should just have said that she forgave her father for raping her mother and moved on. All the extra talk wasn't necessary. No one would have blamed her if she had chosen to hate him for what he did to her mum. Neither would it have made her a terrible child (if that is what she had been taught and that is what she feared)
Congrats on her degree

Too much sense.

You say "how do you get your certificate back"?

Which certificate? Did you graduate?

You should be talking about your money. Forget that certification side.

Go for secondary market since there is no much difference between secondary and primary market rates nowadays.

OK. Thank you.
I hope the process is the same? And no extra charges?

I dropped a request at GTB for TBILLS last Monday which tenure was to be 364 days (primary market).

I was never debited. What do you advice please? Do I go for the secondary market this week or do I go next Monday to fill another form?

Please I would appreciate your kind responses as the money is just there in the account. I'm not working currently and it is the interest that I utilize for one or two things over the course of the year.

Thanks @ agbalowwomeri, mrcy56 anf peterichy for your comments. I really appreciate.

But this profit taking looks like dumping with over 15m units on offer and no bid. It's funny. I will also remain on standby then at 20k bus stop.

There are things you don't do when you are raising a family. Like keeping a glass table as furniture in the house, you must sacrifice a lot when you have kids. sensible parents know this.how the hell do you create an indoor swimming pool in a home that's newly starting. Dbanj ought to know better.everything isn't about class.

True.
I'm not saying I'm perfect but I personally had to drag out our glass table myself when my baby started crawling under and hitting her head on it.
I'm not blaming him but to me, I can't fathom an indoor pool. What if an adult is feverish and sleepwalking and falls inside?

I thought the bear times are times to stock up on good companies with good fundamentals so as to make profit when the market recovers? Since whatever goes down, must come up.
Seems like the preaching here is different.

Now, all the bank prices have started going back up.

Is it safe to buy First Bank now, since the stock has recovered and may go higher so i can atleast make little profit. My fingers have been burnt, over 100k lost and it seems like more to follow.
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Breadfruit: 1:45pm On May 27, 2018
Wow. I didn't know a platform like this existed.
All the shares I bought when I started trading myself some 2/3 months past have gone down, some to half the price sef.

It is discouraging to say the least.
