Hahahaha true. But most important thing is he follows your advice & advice of others, does his homework, give some time maybe 3months and reapply again & 100% positive he will get it next time around

Pls oooooo there's no 100% certainty, best we do is advise either from experience or what we have learnt and read. The decision(s) lies with the ECO handling the application(s).

But i 100% agree with your positivity that the op gets it right when next he/she applies.

I deleted mine a long time ago when it started acting up. The link sent to the mail is the best for checking the status.

I tried using it in October and it just buffered. No info. I deleted the App and it’s no longer available on the Apple store. Use the TLS website

5th of August how come? What did they tell you when you called them or sent paid mails?
What Visa type did you apply for? August 5 is beyond very very far back ooo

Not outrightly wrong if your visa would still be valid at that time.

My 1st approved UK visa i stated i was spending 2 months as was on summer vacation at that time(this was 2 weeks after an initial refusal), reason for refusal by the VO was i intended to travel a month earlier when my vacation had not started which was true, so i changed by intended departure and return date. Note also, at the time of re-applying i submitted Uncle's P60 and bank statement and evidence that i had made payment of my next academic tuition and a letter from my school that i had passed all my exams and would head into year 2 of my 6 years program.

3 months is a long time oooo for visiting...esp if its a 6momths visa.

You can reapply once the issues outlined have been fixed.

Three months is too long to opt to visit someone. Recommendation is typically 7-21 days.

You also need to include your sponsor’s bank statement as proof they can afford to sponsor your visit.

Your claimed Income should also match what is seen in your statements.

Please go through this thread for detailed guidance on putting an air tight application in and then you can reapply. There’s no mandatory waiting period but it’s best to fix all the issues first so you don’t bank multiple refusals. Goodluck!

Sorry about the refusal. 3months is alot of time to spend in the UK on a visit visa. Was it 6months you applied for or 2years?
Did you also provide them with your own statement showing you have that said money? Also what documents did you submit from your sponsor?
It's best you sort this things out very well b4 reapplying so that you dnt waste money, energy, time n effort getting denied again

Send them an email and tell them your mental health has been affected by the long wait and you have gone to see the Doc regarding this. Send them a serz mail basically and tell them it has affected your mental health serzly. They will release your Passport back ASAP. 3 full months fa & you hvnt gotten your PP yet? Nah e no make sense Dear.

Congratulations on receiving the collection mail... more wins for us. Question is how do intend on getting intouch with TLS? I tot somebody said earlier they dnt allow 3rd party collection anymore. Please gurus in house, how will he go about it?

Can I request/pay for courier service after receiving the collection email. I did not the option earlier, but now I've received the collection email and I'm not in Lagos.

Ha they even gave you Date.. This UKVI pple sha, sometimes their Brain use2 do anyhow..hahaha. Why would they do 1 thing for somebody and do smtin else for another. When they tell you a decision has been made & status dsnt change after 1day for 1 person and changes next day for another, dsnt make any sense whatsoever. Omo if na me, I go jump the gun. They will not beat you or insult you.

Since 6th of Jan? Have you sent them another email to ask WHY you haven't received any mail from TLScontact? Maybe they hvnt authorized the BHC to Release your passport to TLS. I feel you should send them an email and let them know how urgent it is or smtin.

Congratulations. The email we got last Thursday 6 Jan said a decision has been made on my husband's application. Today is the 11th of Jan and the status on the tracking site hasn't changed yet. 3 Lights, still. No collection email either.
