Amen. The wait can be so frustrating & tiring my sister. 47WD here as well. I pray we get closure this week make we rest plan ahead. Debbieeeeeee: It's a new year and the holidays are over, visa officers on the thread can rest now because the real visa officers are back to work today. I hope we all that have been waiting get our passports with visas in them this new week by God's grace. The wait to renew a standard visitor's visa has been nothing but tiring plus frustrating. 47 working days here! |

Yes Yes you are absolutely right 100%. They are holding back Visas on purpose. Osondubueze: Lets be hopeful, my friend that did appointment has been refused.... i did mine on 25th and since then I havent gotten a feedback from them. seems they withhold visas and passport of those they have approved probably cos they want to limit the influx of migrant into the UK this festive period till this January becos of the spike of the omicron variant. I just hope and pray am thinking in the right direction. |

You know they were trying so hard to make sure they kept people away from entering the UK during Christmas because of the whole Omicron thing. So let's see how it goes. Tamitee: I'm seriously trying...because as at 24th,they said decision has been made... |

I agree with you... They are prob trying to control the influx of pple flooding in 2 the UK by delaying our applications. So alot of patience will def be needed giselle237: OMICRON/COVID 4th wave is on a high. I do not think at this point they are really happy with the influx of people trying to come in when they can barely control their covid numbers… applications are going to take a while so just all be patient. It is evident that applications are taking longer + staff shortages in most sectors due to illness… the wait is here.. |

Very true. No mata how much is in the account, once they see irregularities, they tend to misbehave Benicetome: My first application to the UK, my salary was 119k and I got my visa. Though I added my mutual funds investment statement that shows that I was investing like 10k monthly with a total balance of 450k and my bank account I had 170k. That was all. 300k is a very fantastic salary for visa applications. Just keep your account clean, ensure there are no unexplainable regular or irregular income. |

I agree with you 100% mamawa123: 300k is a good pay in Nigeria. Remember this is a country where most states can’t afford to pay the 30k minimum wage.
Find out how much entry level bankers are making then you will know that 300k is a good pay in Nigeria |

Hahahahhahahah it's not that deep ooo They always look @ other ties like you said but having a good job is stil very ok as a strong tie Ashirioluwa: No one will get visa if you work as one of the interviewers. Please tell me how many Nigerians are making 300k a month?
My wife UK visa application was successful despite that her current salary is less than 150k.
Bro how you package your application matters. 300k job per month is a good economic tie in Nigeria. To get visa one needs to show more than economic/financial tie. They also look at family and social ties too. |
