Few years ago " president Obasanjo" said APC was about to waste 2 billion dollars on so called maintenance of the 4 local refinery

OBJ being an insider told them the truth that those refineries were " faulty by design" from the start and they should just move on

APC unleashed their online and print media attack dogs... There was absolutely no name they didn't call Obasanjo for saying the obvious truth

Fast ward to December 2024 , the so called maintenance was said to be complete, commissioned and started production... Tho people like me were skeptical because how can port Harcourt Old refinery and warri refinery said to refine petrol when they were never designed to refine petrol from start

Today all the refineries have been shutdown for "maintenance" Just after 6 months of 2 billion dollars maintenance was said to be completed , not a single petrol produced, 2 billion dollars wasted like Obasanjo predicted

So my point is this, when will APC apologize to Nigerians and to Obasanjo for fraud and insults respectively ?

Actually, the hiking has nothing to do with Tinubu. Nigerians will use any opportunity to hike prices. Returning to your base after Christmas becomes a problem because commercial drivers will increase fare.
War in Iraq and garri sellers will increase prices, this is just the way it works in Nigeria.
They didn't do it to make Tinubu look bad.

Why don't you blame the institution for mismanaging the funds ? The FG have already tried by disbursing the money in the first place but how institutions that is supposed to be a good example in the country always misappropriating funds and mismanaging funds?

If the federal government didn't allocate any money for them you will see various media campaign criticizing the government but when they disbursed the money would disappear with no traces.


Nigeria is doom because of the level of human we have in this country, very dishonest and selfish individuals that will go to any length to steal they will even come after you if you don't give them chance and won't hesitate to do bad things to you and your love ones, this country Is doom because of Nigerians not because of the government.

The Lagos Calabar coastal highway is, for majority of it's length, a road. Very different to your comparison using a bridge. The highway will be constructed in well-defined sections the FG has provided exhaustive information about for progressive Nigerians to access.

Each section should, per FG stated plans, be usable upon completion and moves will be made to toll completed sections asap to make more money available for deployment towards quicker completion of other sections.

A sections of the highway that is completed, usable and capable of being tolled can/should be commission as a completed project within a bigger project the FG has always revealed would be modular.

Same as how Lagos blue metro rail line , terminating at Marina, was commissioned and is now in use daily even though we know, because Lagos State officially informed us of such, that a next phase will begin to extend the blue line beyond it's present termation point at Marina to the Epe corridor of Lagos.

Analysing you thougthless example of Third Mainland
brigdge, it is obvious a bridge over water cannot be commissioned at any stage, other than full completion, because it's purpose is to close the gap from one end of a body of water to another so that vehicle and pedestrian can cross said body of water.

So, who exactly is "not normal" if not the person unintelligently asking if the government would commission a 4% completed Third Mainland bridge, when that makes no logical sense, in comparison to a lenghty highway where sections can become fully usable once completed and thus deserve commissioning before official money tolling begins?

If the 4% is useful it can be commissioned. Perhaps for people who may want to jump off it out of hatred. A road and a bridge are not the same even when both require construction.

But I don't support Tinubu and I don't believe any politician at all, except if any politician will campaign with killing corrupt politician immediately, winning and signing the bill to kill corrupt politician and using like 2 to 3 as scapegoat. If any of them do not tackle corruption within the government, then he is not ready.

The last administration made sure when he assumed office .wether he liked it or not subsidy must be removed as a condition for the previous administration to assess loans in dollars to run its own latter ending of it's administration.
So tinubu could not fund subsidy of petroleum products.he literally hard no funds,he had a huge dollar debt and expenditures in the budget that were mounting.
To create more he had to shift the cost of petroleum to the masses by removing subsidy based on the rhem prevailing dollar rate(#618) which it claimed to be the value price
But free market manipulated the dollar rates and created instability and it shot up to #1500
This created the inflation you see today
Now. This meant the govt now has more money in naira but.......there is a caxeat
