This is not true sir.

buda is not fighting anyone's ideologies. buda is asking you and everyone else to fight your own ideologies by yourselves.

Oftentimes, one must teach people so they may learn.
Remember when I told you Tinubu's policies were going to fail and you argued that, good policies was all the country needed, today what do you rate Tinubu's policies success?

When you keep teaching and they refuse to learn, what do you do?

First know that I am not the only one wishing my choice is the president of Nigeria, and so do not expect my wish to always win at every election.

One great Igbo Man wrote this book every Nigerian should read. In it he says "the hunter has learnt to shoot without missing, so the bird must learn to fly without perching", instead of giving you like you suggest and having no choice.

I should learn to fly better if my democracy is hunting me, basically, since I should actually be the one making sure votes count, and the one who suffers if I don't.

You will need to "shed more light on this", because most don't need light shed to know a person with 2 votes out of four has a majority if one of sat on their lazy ass and refused to vote.

You must live in a universe where Nigerian people are given the sort of choice you suggest. I live in the alternate universe where Nigerians are not directly given that choice. They may of course elect Reps and Senators who promise to give them that choice so they have it, but I myself have not yet come across a candidate who won a Nigerian election running on a mandate to divide Nigeria. Do tell me if you have.

People are "never being given the option of full choice to decide what they want" anywhere in the world ever, Brendaniel. There's always been a king or an emperor or a god or a government who decides what you should have or not.

But that said, we have democracy, which is a referendum, at least on who rules us, and we ought to be using it don't you think, instead of some people telling some people to boycott elections, which is the same as telling them not to use their own powers to choose.

The UN also emphasizes the preservation of the territorial integrity of member states, you forget to add!

Just stop already please! You are sounding like a person we cooked a whole cow for but can not even finish a leg.

We had an opportunity to "enjoy democracy in its fullness" at the last election. Almost 100 million Nigerians were registered to vote in this "current system of democracy Nigeria is currently practicing" but less than 30m Nigerians actually went out on poll day to "enjoy democracy in its fullness" that we were not given but fought for but refused to use and that the President Tinubu won by less than a mere 10% of registered voters.

When we fully enjoy the democracy that we already have to its fullness so like at least 50% (I'd rather 90%, note) of registered voters enjoy the current democracy we have and vote, then yes, change the system to referendocracy. I will support you.

I don't believe that people are given anything by those who lead them, Brendaniel. I understand that every thing a people have gotten from their rulers is what they fought for, often with their blood too. So, I should learn to impose my will better if the rulers suppress my will, Brendaniel, and I do that by promoting to everyone they vote. It is in fact my sole mission leading up to the 2027 Elections to support democracy in Nigeria by advocating you vote.
I live in the alternate universe where Nigerians are not directly given that choice.
Reason why I want to give them.

You will need to "shed more light on this", because most don't need light shed to know a person with 2 votes out of four has a majority if one of sat on their lazy ass and refused to vote.
It will be a long explanation....

Lastly, You really need to face reality about Nigeria, you are trying to fight ideologies, that is the same thing Peter Obi is facing, reason why he might never be president of Nigeria, he is from my region but I don't think I might support him or anyone in 2027, not because he is not good enough but because I know what he is up against, the people he is trying to help hate him for trying to help them...

Sometimes you leave people to learn.

Take a look at the stats and compare it with the one below, what do you see?

The country with the largest population is among the last in passport strength while the country with the smallest population is the 1st in passport strength, telling you that population is not always a yardstick that a country is doing well except the population is properly utilized.

I think you don't understand how democracy works, so let me.

People say they want to contest to be leader. People vote for the one they want and the one with the most votes wins.

Last election I chose Obi. Majority chose Tinubu, so the Obi that I chose lost. I still chose Obi.

Good luck with that.

No one is giving anyone a referendum on whether they are Nigerian or not, so maybe it's not president buda we need, we need president Brendaniel instead.

Brendaniel, we are a constitutional federal representative republic, a system whereby citizens elect officials to make decisions and create laws on their behalf, rather than voting on laws directly.

We do not practice referendum democracy, yet.
Firstly I understand how democracy works,I just wanted to point out and show you the flaws on the kind of democracy Nigeria and most parts of the world practice, when they say majority carries the vote, you believe you have a choice for that statement, true in a sense, but then someone can weaponize it against you and then you find out you cannot change the leaders as you wish just like in a military government, that's one of the flaws of democracy.

When they say majority, they never specified the majority of what kind of people(I would have loved to shed more light on this, but I don't want to make this response too lengthy)

I may not need to be president to give the people a referendum, The people of Nigeria should be given a choice if they want to be Nigerians or not.

More reason why Nigeria needs to have referendum for all regions, it means the people of Nigeria have never being given the option of full choice to decide what they want, it means they have never enjoyed democracy to its fullest, which is what I want to do, even the UN acknowledges the rights to referendum and self determination.

so can we all join hands and allow democracy run its full course to give all Nigerians the opportunity to enjoy democracy in its fullness, because if you are supporting the current system of democracy Nigeria is currently practicing then you are supporting a system that is not giving Nigerians complete choices to make, democracy is about the will of people and when that will is suppressed, it means that democracy is flawed and a bit likened to a military government that also suppresses the will of the people.

Support democracy to run in its fullness if you really believe in it, except you don't.

My choice? Like the last election when my choice was Obidient?

Answer is none. Unless you count my acceptance of Buhari whom I knew will make Nigerians suffer so we open our eyes small.

But you are aware that it's not buda alone who selects the president with my one vote in democratic Nigeria, right? So why my choice when democracy means, everyone's choice?

I can assure you that both will fail in my lifetime. You will live long after buda and Nigeria will not be divided or destroyed even long after you are gone.
At the bolded, so we can liken your experience of having and changing leaders to that of the military since you had no choice during the military and unable to make your choice become president during democracy.

And lastly, maybe you don;t understand me, the ultimate choice for the division of Nigeria will still lie in the hands of the people to decide, my mission is mainly to give them the platform to decide, any region that wants to leave can leave and anyone that wants to stay can stay, through referendums,

If majority people from a region vote to leave, would you still swear for them for leaving based on their choice?

And am I wrong for giving them the option of them deciding if they want to keep being Nigerians or not if you really believe in the democracy you preach?

He too wasn't clean. Let's ask ourselves, how come it was working to a reasonable extent under Fashola and it stopped under Ambode. Ambode stopped a working process to bring in a firm to come do IT in Nigeria. A huge problem of our leaders is selfishness. They don't understand the call to serve, they just want to be able to chop in contracts. That contract was a disaster, so Ambode eventually worsened the problem. There is something called change management. Our leaders act like dem no go school.
Then why did Sanwo-Olu revert that decision and it only became worse?

Under what Nigerian law does a governor have the right to stop a law abiding citizen from entering his state?

And if the law abiding citizen has broken any law, as a governor who upholds the law, is he not supposed to arrest the citizen and take him to court?

So a governor who claims to uphold the law is encouraging and practicing jungle justice on a citizen who committed no offense...

PoliticsRe: Who Will Save Lagosians From LAWMA And The Imminent Epidemic? by Brendaniel: 4:35pm On Feb 24
When you tell them the truth the hate and fight you for it, Ambode was trying to transform LAWMA, Tinubu and his supporters chased him away because they preferred to play politics with everything, they saw LAWMA management as a tool for political settlement for their members and supporters, so they reverted LAWMA back to status quo.

Same thing they did with LASTMA, During Ambode's time, LAWMA comes 2-3 every week, but now sometimes once a month, Tinubu uses government institutions as a tool for political support, in the end the purpose of the institution is defeated for his political achievement, that's why Nigeria as a whole is the way it is today.

Sir, our lifestyle and politics and religion and culture and education etc in each region are not things in our dna that we are born with and can not change, but are precisely and exactly a product of what we are fed and taught in each region.

It's kind of like a software installed in people in each region is different, and is predominantly Catholicism in the Igbos, Protestantism in the Yorubas and Islam in the Hausas, with crossovers of course since not all in any tribe adopted all what they were fed.

vaxx is my resident expert on tabula rasa, and there's lots of refs on Nairaland, so please research.

First, I do not believe the Almajiri system is wrong. I have studied its implementation and I have seen the results, and I know it does not produce what will positively impact a person's life nor move a nation forward and there are better education systems, and I can very easily provide evidence so that enough people abandon almanjeri and go to school.

I will bribe students with lunch, note.

This is why the president budaatum of Nigeria is starting by changing your installed software (of belief) by reforming the education system of Nigeria so that you may use your own eyes to ask and knock and seek for yourself and understand what you see like buda does, instead of mere believing what you are told to.

My new education syllabus will teach people to reason like me not to believe whatever you are told, but to use your own brain to find answers to what, why, who, when why, how. The intention is to inculcate a new culture in everyone, that they should not be ignorant believing enslaved made from mud and afraid of knowledge almanjeri Adams, but become powerful asking and knocking aad seeking and feeding daily on fruits of trees of knowledge to rule and subdue and multiply blessed images of God.

I'm not describing some magic wand I wave and the lights turn on and almanjeri is abandoned by all Brendaniel, and yes, I do expect opposition and resistance especially when I set up camp for a week in Ramadan in the middle of Sambesi Forest. Don't you worry about my safety. The entire Nigerian Army will be there to protect me and I will screen me live on youtube for Nigerians to look at me there.

If I start with nursery one students (only because it would be as hard as forcing a camel through the eye of your needle to make you abandon your current ideology and consider this new understanding and ideology), I would likely get some before their minds are polluted with the beliefs and ideologies and cultures and religions and politics in their regions. And I have the feeling I can make a generation have a culture that knows we are our own gods. I mean. Just look at you Brendaniel, calling my ideas good already.

But, Brendaniel, I think you underestimate your own powers and abilities. It may seem small, but you made me order the belows. Call them bullets in the gun that will kill the ignorance of almanjeri in Nigeria. I very much appreciate you adding them to my ammo.
That's one of problems I have with you, you hate facing reality, and that is also one problem I have with a lot of your people from the south west, they hate facing reality(I am not trying to sound rude here, just being sincere how I see it) some of the good plans you wrote here have been implemented either in full or part by different civilian government in the past and guess what?

They all failed, do you know why?

They were civil implementations like yours, when I tell people that the best type of government that benefited Nigeria the most( though also corrupt and imperfect ) was the military government, aside from foreign sanctions, they performed far better than most civilian governments in Nigeria.

Not only did they perform, they also united Nigerians better than every civilian government, and the reason is partly what you wrote up there, you want to impart your ideology over other ideologies to bring about development, unity and improvement, only the military government was largely successful in achieving that.

Today it looks like an abomination for an Emeka to be governor of Sokoto or an Abdullahi to be governor of Abia, in the military era it looked very normal, what did that bring to Nigeria?

Acceptance, unity, tolerance, it will even sound very weird to say a certain ethnic group want to take over and destroy your state when the governor of your state is from same ethnic group.

Now you also look at implementation of plans like you wrote up there, under military rule, it is a one way instruction, oppose it and die, so nobody had a choice than to follow the ideologies of whoever was in power, same reason the military government was able ensure terrorism and terrorism beliefs could not grow under their time, even militancy.

Have you ever asked yourself why Shariah was never implemented during the military era?

Because it will never see the light of day, and those who even asked for it may have been jailed or killed, terrorism never existed in Nigeria under the military rule, but immediately the civilian rule came up, shariah request was made, implemented and terrorism has been growing ever since.

I'm not here to promote military rule, I'm just here to let you know that if your plan is to work, then go and join the military or use a military styled government or...(unconventional method), if not you are most likely wasting your time, as long as majority have a say under your government then majority will have their way in any region you are targeting for implementation of your plans.

You think I don't know why I now see the best option for Nigeria is to divide?

What you are trying to do for the northern region is the mistake America makes in most Islamic countries, that's why it looks like they keep failing to have a normal and stable system in those countries, imagine spending over 2 trillion dollars in 20 years and losing maybe thousands of men to make Afghanistan have a stable system and still failed.

The reason is they were not fighting just a war, they were fighting an ideology, what you trying to do here is to fight an ideology using education but sometimes it is not enough, America also did the same in Afghanistan with education.

I will ask you just one question in your next response to give you an insight into how far your reasoning is different from that of the Islamic north.
PoliticsRe: This Alone Makes Nigeria The Greatest Country On Earth by Brendaniel: 5:25am On Feb 23
budaatum:
No I wouldn't accept it. Most Northerners don't accept it neither. Even many Muslim Iranians are not accepting it, so why would atheist I accept the type of sharia that some are imposing on the North?

But why are we even considering this? Do you think only buda will be yelling "We no go gree! Ali must go!" on the streets of Nigeria when someone tries to replace their Yahweh Jesus Christ with Allah Mohammed or do you just lack faith in us and in yourself!?
I asked you this question for a reason, what I want you to know is, whatever lifestyle you see in any region in Nigeria(political, religious, cultural, educational etc) are mainly products of the ideology that governs their thoughts and thought process.

You said you will reje the Islamic north styled shariah, that's because of the ideology that governs your thoughts and thought process and I believe a lot of your people in south west will also reject it, that's because most of you in the south west share similar ideology and that ideology guides and governs your thoughts and thought processes.

When shariah was introduced in the north, there was overwhelming jubilation among the Muslims because that was what they wantedand their leaders knew, so they gave it to them, that still boils down to the ideology i talked about, they share similar ideologies within themselves.

you really think the Islamic north wants shariah abolished, no, this were the same people who came out to protest against the abolition when the US added it to the list of things the northern Nigeria should do.

Do you also think they want to end the Almajiri system ? No, they don't want it to end, because they believe it is right just like you believe it is wrong, When you hear their state governors spending money sending them to hajj, opening Islamic schools for Koranic studies, the governors are only doing what the people want, to you it is wrong and to them it is right.

That's because you don't reason like them and they don't reason like you, that's why after reading your good idea, i said it may likely not work, not because it is bad but because of the ideology of the people you are introducing it to, they may see it as bad just like you see the shariah they are practicing as bad.

but if you introduce that same idea in your region iy will be celebrated by your people and they will support you because they will see it as good.

What your people want is not what the northerners want.

PoliticsRe: This Alone Makes Nigeria The Greatest Country On Earth by Brendaniel: 2:33am On Feb 23

I am not a Muslim so it wouldn't apply to me. Most Muslims in the south wouldn't accept it neither, though a limited form of Sharia exists in the South for those who accepted it.

Sharia takes many forms, so you'd need to be more specific about the aspect of Sharia being introduced, because I doubt most places would accept the cutting off of a petty thief's hand, though I wouldn't mind cutting off the hand of a politician who stole millions.
The type of shariah being practiced in the north presently... would you accept it in south west?
