But always have it @ the back of your skull, that no food for lazy man in the jungle.
Are you saying those people that were killed in Kwara were waiting for Tinubu to come and better their lives?

Or they were waiting for Tinubu to come and feed them, it's because you don't care what happens to them, that's why you support Tinubu

Well, I really don’t want us to drag this further since the conversation isn’t syncing.

People knows what they want, then why should we complain after voting for someone? Why do we need a politician to campaign heavily and often feel convinced?

What I believe education does is changing ideology, education not literacy, I think that is needed to be emphasized. An educated person doesn’t need to be told that his or her is in his hands, and by keeping his or environment clean there will be reduction in exposure to dangerous situations for their health. And about nations coming together, it wasn’t just because they have same ideology and you can be threatened if you choose to pull out of it “case of the Sahel, and Canada at the moment”, they understand the power of working together, and also to be under an umbrella of big power…

Like I said, selfish interests was what calls for pulling out of the nation, if you know you know.. with state policing, I believe we are almost getting to the point of autonomous state. No state governor selection is been influenced by outside state except the people of the state don’t know what they want.

And since you decide not to acknowledge how voting power has affected decisions of politicians in the past, then explain to me why a northern candidate must always be on every party’s candidate?
Education does not always change ideologies, sometimes it only amplifies it, that's why you can a professor who is a terrorist and even uses his education for terrorist advancement.

secondly, people know what they want based on ideology, reason why people vote the way they vote in Nigeria, that's why I asked you the question about a professor and an Almajiri choosing the same choice of candidate of a Buhari over an Adesina, and you have refused to answer why.

The answer is ideology, they chose him strictly because of Islamic ideology, so education that time doesn't count, it becomes useless at that point, that is point I am making here.

That is why you can see a professor advocating for the beheading of someone for blasphemy,(ideology) overrides education.

Selfish interest is not what calls for cessation, just take a look at Nigeria, a region rejected a president who destroyed a country for 8 years, they rejected him twice, they also rejected another one currently destroying the country, but yet they also have to go through the challenges of the regions that voted such destruction, it is clear enough.

What each region wants is not the same, I was not secessionist till I saw clearly why Nigeria may never make progress, Ideological conflict, no common goal, the regional wants are like word and opposite.

I gave up on the unity of Nigeria, mind you as an Igbo man I supported Buhari in 2015, at the time I felt he was genuine, only to find out he was all about ideological supremacy, both him and his people, so I fought against his second term.

I just wanted a country that works...

Based on the reflection of your life?
SportsRe: Footballer, Ihotu John Rebecca Kidnapped On Benin Expressway by Brendaniel: 4:00pm On Mar 02
PolyGamous:
Now, let me answer you realistically.
Professors might vote for Femi Adesina, but in entire Nigeria regions all the professors we have are not up to the Almajiris in the north alone..

People’s decision making and Ideology is mostly shaped by education and exposure. I don’t want to break down so many things about the small countries in Europe and the Iran’s matter. But, if the so called small countries in Europe could do everything to come together under the flag of EU, then it screams a lot.

If being a small country is the economic and development solutions, there won’t be EU, ASEAN, UN, AU, UAE, ECOWAS, and other unions that brings sovereign countries together to share rules.

When I say Nigerians ideology, about their power and contribution to the Nation is vote got us here, I know what I am saying. Politicians stopped being accountable, and all they do is to please the populations (uneducated) that get them what they want. Every nations have their weaknesses though, U.S. will do so much to favor their capitalist than the masses in every policy it makes. We as a nation need to realize so much that we are not looking at.

Ibadan is dirty, which is obviously littered by the masses, it will be hard for governor to make a policy that restricts them from littering the city because of the fear of opposition coming to campaign with that policy “by, maybe telling them it’s the duty of the governor to keep the city clean, not the masses”, that should tell you what I meant by our education level.
You are mixing up, Institutions with nationhood, EU, ECOWAS and co are institutions and not a nation, a nation is formed by people who share the same ideology, that's why Nigeria is also not a nation, because we don't share the same ideology.

The countries in EU are mostly nations that are all members of an institution, reason why members can pull out anytime, same with ECOWAS and the rest, so you are mixing things up.

Secondly, you seem not to understand my question, I said; what will make a professor and and Almajiri(unschooled) person from the north choose a Buhari over a Femi Adesina of AFDB?

You didn't even understand the question, what will make a professor and an Almajiri in the north make the same choice of choosing Buhari over a Femi Adesina?

So your answer was clearly out of line...

Thirdly, Nigeria does not have an ideology, if Nigeria had an ideology, we will not be in conflict, the country would have made far more progress than this, Nigeria temporarily had an ideology only during the military regime and it was military ideology, and that came to an end the moment democracy was restored.

Nigeria has more than 6 ideologies from different regions and some are at conflict with others, what each region wants is not the same, that is like more than 6 people dragging the steering of a moving vehicle to drive his own pattern and direct, of course, that is a recipe for disaster, that is the Nigeria you see today...

And your last paragraph still boils down to ideology, what governs the thoughts of the people, what the people want, it is not really about education, being uneducated doesn't mean you should be dirty.

There are way to change people's ideologies and oe of the best way is to prove to them that the ideology is not beneficial to them.

Human beings naturally go after what they feel is beneficial to them, sometimes you have to show proof, education is good but with proof you have better result, the regions in Nigeria would likely have gone farther than were they are today if they were nations of their own.

Proof would likely have been revealed to every region long time ago

Well, you just proven my view of Education of the country being a waste. The Iran example you gave shows you only follow the breeze, and Europe having small small countries is another example. So, because the U.S. parties have different racial mindset, the country should split into two?

Extensive reading will actually solve all this, Nigerians as a whole were made to believe the only power they’ve got is votes, making some parts feel the power lies with them and some feels they are minority. And if you fail to admit that there won’t be even more break away after the regional splits, then you are just ignorants of the signs, but will only realize when wonders start showing up.

I’m not against splitting, but it’s obviously not the solution to the backward mentality average Nigerians have!!
You see the problem with people like you, you are not detailed, you think the problem of Nigeria is election, election is a very secondary issue, whether anyone believes they have the number or not is even a c=secondary issue, and I will explain later.

for the Iran/Israel war and the Europe countries, I only used that to show you how ideologies shape people decision making not politics, you are so focused on the poltical side of things that you miss the main points.

The 2 paragraphs I wrote up there are still linked to show you it has nothing to do with politics or education but Ideology, let me ask you a question, what will make a professor and and Almajiri(unschooled) person from the north choose a Buhari over a Femi Adesina of AFDB?

If you can answer this correctly then I will take you seriously...

Well, if you ask me. That doesn’t sound like a solution because even within the regions, there are more differences, I feel our education has been waste for not being able to live together “my view”, seeing our votes as the only power we have got us here. India, Russia, USA, and China are more diverse than we are here in Nigeria.

It’s just my view anyways, politicians we do all to please voters, which is one scary thing I felt when all candidates campaigned to removed subsidy.
That's a very big lie, If you have not still seen that Nigeria's major problem is ideological conflict, then you are very far from reality, education is not Nigeria's problem , that is why it is looking like a waste of time to you.

Because your eyes have not opened yet or you chose not open it,

Just take a look at the regions, if you still can't state what the regions want as at now then you missed a whole lot of indicators...

Take for instance, Israel and Iran are fighting, the Islamic north are carrying Iran flag and burning Israel and USA flag, in the south east they are carrying Israel flag and USA flag in support.

Are these not 2 different countries in one?

I'm even going far, what about picking leaders?

If religion and tribe is still a yardstick to get support in certain regions then it already tells you what those regions want.

What the regions in Nigeria want individually is not the same because we don't reason alike, our ideologies are not the same, this is not about education, that is why you can see a professor in the north supporting shariah and a professor in south supporting a person who had no childhood record...

Democracy exposed the fault lines of Nigeria, military government was what kept the country this long also with some level of peace because it suppressed all the ideologies, but democracy gave room for those ideologies to blossom, and the Nigeria you see today is the result...

It is easier to manage people who share similar or closely related ideologies than to mage people with far opposing ideologies...

You think Europe has small small countries for no reason...

I really wish this problem is what the government and army alone can solve..

We are divided as a nation and it is the main reason why it’s all going like this and why the government and the army will never be able to stop it alone without people’s cooperation.

Someone that was kidnapped once said his experience, “how people in an environment they were kept keep coming around to inform kidnappers about police patrols, we’ve seen cases where family members went to strike deal with thugs to kidnap their relatives so then can share money, we have seen silly cases where tribes are shielding their people that are causing unrest in regions. Peace and stability is what people should chase, not just money “it will only cause us more disasters”.

Bomb terrorists today, then you will start hearing threats of not voting. Obi supported Nnamdi Kanu, which means if he becomes a president, he will neglect all unrest caused by him. Atiku deleted his post that condemns the lynching of Deborah in the north, which means he will never attend to such occurrence if he gets to the seat and definitely, the cry for sharia law will be heard and fulfilled.

As far as politicians believes their main achievement is votes, then they will never do what is right!!!
if you are right, More reason why the country should divide, must we stay together and keep fighting?

The problem with many of you is that you allow your emotion to think for you. And once your emotion controls your thoughts, irrationality and misinformation become the order of the day. You could hear what the opposition parties were clamouring, mandatory real-time e-transmission of results. Then, what is the position of the National Assembly to this proposition? The National Assembly said yes there will electronic transmission of results but the phrase " mandatory real-time" should be expunged in order to avert litigations at the tribunals.

Look at what you suggested "The actual technology stores the results on the devices even in areas with "limited internet" and once they get to an area with adequate connectivity, the device then uploads the result". Opposition figures are shouting for mandatory real-time e-transmission but you are saying real-time is not longer necessary. Is electronic transmission of results not in the amended electoral law?

Is your submission not the position of the National Assembly? Is your submission real-time? The National Assembly is saying that mandatory real time transmission should be jettisoned as not every part of Nigeria has Internet penetration but where there is Internet connectivity, real-time transmission is possible such as Abuja, Lagos etc.
Because of these obvious challenges, the National Assembly came up with form EC8A as a backup in an area with limited Internet connectivity.
The council election in Abuja, were the results not transmitted electronically? Or is every part of Nigeria, Abuja or Lagos? Don't let your emotion speak, give your brain chance to speak.
And the telcomms said every part of Nigeria has internet penetration, so who is lying?

of course the national assembly...

Exactly, because even the ADC members are contradicting on whether there was any attack, where and on whom.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) state secretariat on Ogbelaka Street was alleged to have been attacked shortly after a political event. Some claim the residence of the former governor and ADC leader, John Odigie-Oyegun, in the Government Reserved Area (GRA).
In all these no single evidence. Just pictures of two or three car vehicles broken. No eye witness, no target, nothing. No video, etc.
Some described only rocks thrown at vehicles outside the residence. Others claim rival ADC thugs vandalised the secretariat.
One will expect that for a people who want to change Nigeria, we'd have seen CCTV videos of the event, since it allegedly happened in their territory. i find it very hard to believe that Obi was attacked in broad daylight and no single video or photo to help.

No wonder they wanted real-time transmission of election results! Look at the people that they planned to use to vote for their Agbaje candidate!

A party that cannot organise itself wants to organise Nigeria? A group that is unable to identify its own supporters wants to identify Nigeria's challenges. An association that does not know how to solve its own problems wants to solve the challenges of Africa's largest nation.

Meanwhile, the same African Democratic Congress says it is better than the All Progressives Congress, which requires the National Identification Number as a mandatory step before e-registration to prevent fake registrations!!

No be juju be that?

Reno Omokri
All these are not valid registrations, if you like register 10 billion people there without going to the ward for validation, they will all be deleted, the way you people reason sha.
PoliticsRe: Did ADC ALLOW Multiple Registrations On Their Platform? by Brendaniel: 8:04am On Mar 02
blamingthedevil:
ADC might have acted deliberately to encourage multiple registrations by the same individuals, thereby inflating the registration figures. However, this approach contradicts the requirements set by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and will ultimately fail the data validation process and the party may not participate in 2027 elections.

As implemented by All Progressives Congress (APC), INEC’s Digital Data Register registration requirements are straightforward:
1. Registration are geo-located, specifically tied to the registrant’s ward.
2. Prospective member must locate his or her ward in the State where he or she is expected to cast votes during general election.
3. Only one field is required—the National Identification Number (NIN)—after which all other personal details are automatically populated from the NIN database.

Is it a deliberate fraudulent attempt to allow multiple registrations by ADC or gross incompetence that has bedevilled the party?

God Bless Federal Republic of Nigeria

The problem with you Tinubu supporters is: you people are not detailed, you people did not even bother to go into details of what you people are throwing up and down, mocking others...

All the registrations there are completely invalid, you will have to print your slip and go to your ward to validate it, how a whole party could not read that part and understand shows the kind of people in large number that are in the party...

Everything you people went there to do is completely useless till you go to the ward to validate it...
