Satazaa: I am extremely saddened that some Nigerian Christians who don't understand that deep down Amoricans who they perceived as fighting for them have hidden agendas to sow discord amongst us so that our progress can be stalled or country breaks, statistically more Muslims have been killed more than Christians in Northern Nigeria, Some naive Nigerians do not understand that the same Amoricans were the one that illegally toppled Ghadafi and the consequences of that is why the whole of the horn of Africa is in this mess today, How can you be the architect of a problem and pretending that you suddenly care So if more Muslims have been killed than Christians does that justify the government doing nothing about it? |

Please state the countries that have divided without war or conflict at the long run by then I will know you love yourself or not 🚫 And who is going to fight war against those that want to leave Nigeria and why? |

Putindbutt: What they will call what?. Listen, whether or not it is fake news or true, the coup did not succeed, infact, it was just a rumour of planning a coup, There was nothing actionable or concrete that had been done. No blood shed, no killings, no hijack, no movements, no deployment, NoTHiNg whatsoever!. So, don't compare with the 1966 that was the first and bloodiest in the history of the country and the event that damaged the unity and brotherhood of the military. So it has to first succeed for the north before you people will take action on the north abi but it doesn't have to succeed for the east in electing a governor for Lagos before you people take action abi? That statement below was not made by accident...

psalmsjob: Round and round we go.... Same question over and over .... I spend my time on love... I don't think negativity, I think positivity. It you who brought up hate which you say it's the Yoruba who hate the Igbo and I'm telling you it's perhaps the other way round.
Anyways I know that the opinion and behavior of one man cannot define the characteristics of an entire tribe who do not practice herd mentality like the Igbos do. That statement below was not made by accident....

psalmsjob: Maybe lack of comprehension and that's if the reasons I gave in the comment you quoted are not good enough for you.
I guess you'll have to ask the Igbo who envy and hate the Yoruba because in their mind they believe it is the Yoruba who are their checkmate in Nigeria because they don't seem to understand how Yoruba are ahead of them from before the British came to Africa. Yoruba had been at the top of tribes in today's Nigeria.... They had an empire for crying out loud and check history of the Igbo at that same time and you might not find it because they weren't at the level of documenting their history at that time You agreed that hate exists from Yorubas to the Igbos, what then is causing the hate? |
Politics › Re: Alleged Coup Plot: Some Details Of Detained Officers Emerge - Premium Times by Brendaniel: 2:37pm On Oct 30, 2025 |
psalmsjob: Yes maybe hatred as you think but envy is out of it because you don't envy who you are better than... You don't envy who leaves his alaigbo and flocks to your land flowing with milk and honey to live and do business a land that blesses people rather than stifle them like alaigbo so much so that you try to claim it as no man's land.
It's actually inferiority complex and sophistication of the Yoruba that makes the average Igbo to envy the Yoruba If there is no envy, what then is fueling the hate? |

Factcheck0001: yes
It is enough justification, nobody wants a trouble maker near their home.
The same way u Ibos went to burn a university because u heard they wanted to use it as IDP for Fulani is d same way we also try to get rid of troublemakers here.
U don't want troublemakers in your region so u burn down where they want to stay
Yorubas too don't want troublemakers so we are ready to deal with them.
Same way u are dealing with troublemakers is d same way we are dealing with troublemakers So all the things you listed previously, did anyone of those things break the constitution of the country? So you are justifying your people breaking the constitution for people who did not break the constitution? |

shivisee: This is the most daft and hypocritical analysis of the whole situation! Obi people were the one calling for coup immediately after the last elections, it was an Ibo man that demanded tinubu and all other Yorubas leaders to be killed, not an edo man, not an Hausa man, not a Fulani man, it’s the manifestation of internal hatred, enviness etc !

Have u ever seen any Yoruba group calling anambara no man's land?
Have u ever seen a Yoruba group saying they want a Yoruba man to b governor of anambara?
Have u ever seen a Yoruba group telling the governor he must give them 5 commissioners?
The question u should ask yourself is
Y only Ibos?
Are ibos the only immigrant in Lagos? So even if everything you said here is true because not everything you said is true, is that a justification to stop them from voting during election? |

U are pure igbo tribalist. Your type are the ones thunder used to fire during raining seasons because of hate.
End. You think that guy is Igbo? I don't think, he is one of the people who use Igbo names here to attack Igbos, he is a Tinubu supporter, what their head tells them is that getting Biafra means all Igbos will go back to the south east, and I just laugh each time I read such, if it were so, all Nigerians all over the world should be in Nigeria. They don't know Biafra is not about the Igbos leaving anywhere they are currently staying in the world but mainly about having a nation they can call theirs run by a homogeneous ideology. They think Igbos will leave any part of Nigeria if they get Biafra today, no, it doesn't work like that, if so then it will mean all other nations like even Ghana can expel Nigerians for just being Nigerians. |

Our sources further disclosed that 15 of the 16 detained officers are from Nigeria’s North-central, North-east, and North-west geopolitical zones. You won't hear those people from a certain region call these a northern coup or start shouting because Atiku lost election is the reason why they want a Yoruba president out of power. Pause for a second and imagine if it was the southeast that was mentioned, that shows you that most of what they accuse the Igbos of only stems from hatred and envy. |

mfm04622: How old are you? If there is a tax on import but the tax is not applied on same product produced locally, what will the effect of the tax be?
This is a question an SS1 student that did Economics should be able to answer! The question is have the locally produced met the total demand for consumers? is the locally produced a monopolized source, does the source have viable and available competitors to match his price, supplies and distribution? is the imported one cheaper in price than the locally produced without the tax of 15%? The problem here is not the tax or the importation, but the government not doing their homework before policy implementation... It might only create more problems in the end than solving any... |

flokii: This is exactly where they are driving at.. now Dangote that pays less to no tax atal (because of Free trade zone) will be supplying petrol throughout Nigeria whereas those actually paying full tax to Nigeria will now be forced to shut down their businesses. The implication is more money for Dangote and nothing for Nigeria.
If peradventure, something happens to Dangote refinery tomorrow and he can't meet up with national demand or maybe he comes up with an excuse to increase pump price of petrol, Nigerians will be left with no other choice than to buy at whatever price Dangote is fixing (#1500 - #2000 above per litre) or economic activities will shut down.

This is astonishing! Totally emberassing. Not even in the discredited era of the fat Ahmed Lawan did we witness this brand of legislative debauchery. It seems like Akpabio is the most crooked political player to come out of the South South in recent history.. When Igbos were shouting that Akpabio was the wrongest person to be senate president, the Yorubas came in their numbers and started shouting that Igbos don't want south south to become senate president, in reality they just wanted a stooge to their Oluwole president in aso rock They have achieved it....
