ibedun: The huge problems we have in this country can be correlated to our reckless child birth culture. Too many Nigerians should never have been born, especially to all these wretched poor parents. The upbringing is so bad and you end up with people making this kind of comment. And that is where the same government should step in, you think China and most world powers made laws for Children because they just love the children? No it is because of reasons like this too... What has the Nigerian government done concerning child birth control? |

You compare Nigeria tax system with that of UK and US but will never compare the minimum wage nor the essential services the government provides in return, then the type of leaders that are accountable with governance in general, well like I do say, una eyes go clear, you support a thief and criminal to be increasing and collecting tax from you and think the thief will use it to make your country better? |

Ttalk: Your argument is weak, many arrested IPOB members have been released but there no point demanding for the release of their Leaders when they should be executed.
No one will release MNK since Adaka Boro was not released Did you read all the news you posted, FG arrested them, charged them to court and the court declared them free because it was a wrong arrest stemmed from injustice by your Nigerian government, is that the same with your Nigerian government arresting confirmed terrorists without charging them to court and then releasing them and even paying them money as rehabilitation, sometimes even employing them into the force? The DSS own you did not even read it, they said it was a wrong arrest, is that still the same with the terrorist being freed by your FG? Wrong arrest is different from terrorist arrest, that's why all their cases have been failing in court, do you people read at all? Shekau the leader of Boko Haram was not spared or tried, he was executed and Januri never shouted marginalization.
Many bandit leaders are daily being executed, how on earth will you claim the trial of MNK amount to marginalization when he should have been killed like other terrorist leaders. They don't sound like marginalisation, they sound like celebration abi? So why did Tinubu release Miyetti Allah leader that was charged for terrorism like MNK, why have IPOB members never been granted amnesty and rehabilitation program like Boko haram and bandits? |

Ttalk: Nigeria is not a family of 3 children, it is a family of many children with each child fending and mending for himself.
How did Yoruba and Hausa Fuani sideline Igbo,?
Are they the one occupying the elective positions in your states?
Are they denying you your statutory allocation?
How are they using your money to develop Lagos?
Is it Igbo or Federal government that built BRT, Monorail and Water Transportation System?
What's your obsession with Lagos state,?
Where is it in the constitution that a former capital territory is Nigeria's property
It is irritating crying like a spoiled child every time of marginalization.
Your forefather merged with the North in the first Republic to control centre, were you marginalized during this period?
You staged the first coup and have been used by the subsequent military regime, were you marginalized during these period,?
You were VP during Shagari regime and was in hand in hand with the FG during 16 years of PDP rule yet you claim you are marginalized.
How exactly do you want Nigeria to treat you,?
To allowed you carry our demolition in your state but shouldn't demolish in their states?
You sounds offensive with your marginalization and undeserved entitlement plea More like when you arrest MNK and free terrorists killing Nigerians in different parts of the country, more like shouting that an Igbo man will never rule Nigeria, more like giving the south east over 300 as cut off mark while giving the north 2 for admission, more like militarizing the south east even before IPOB was created and there was peace in IGBO land and so on, you think having a country is a bout fighting others to prove superiority instead of peace and progress?

DaddyJapan: You are playing fast and loose with the truth here. While a lot of people (including me) found it controversial, 'Operation Safe Corridor' - which has resulted in the release and rehabilitation of about 2,000 members of Boko Haram - actually comes with stringent conditions. Those allowed to participate are mainly low-risk combatants who are essentially canon fodder. They have to sign up to a de-radicalisation, re-orientation, and schooling program, too.
Nnamdi Kanu's case is already being tried in the court. It needs to be allowed to reach its logical conclusion first. But Miyetti Allah leader was also already charged to court on the same terrorism charges like MNK, why didn't they allow the case reach a logical conclusion first before dropping the charges? |

Politics › Re: Victims Of Separatist Violence Oppose Calls For Nnamdi Kanu’s Releasethe Forum O by Brendaniel: 7:56pm On Oct 19, 2025 |
Namaster: ANYBODY campaigning for the release of Kanu is a TERRORIST and an ENEMY of the Federation.
The amount of CARNAGE his violent rhetorics caused in the South East is unprecedented.
People were being DRAGGED out of their vehicles and beaten or murdered in HIS name. They DESTROYED people's cars and businesses in HIS name.
The ONLY problem I see here is the DELAY in finalising his case and giving him a suitably HARSH sentence.
But this is Nigeria where terrorists are CODDLED and treated with levity. So it'll not be surprising if he somehow goes scot-free after DESTROYING countless lives and properties. But releasing leader of the Fulani herdsmen destroying lives and properties all over Nigeria means love for Nigeria abi ? Tinubu that released him is not an enemy of Nigeria abi? because, Miyetti Allah leader is not Igbo... Releasing him under political pressure would not heal this nation, it would deepen the pain, mock the sacrifices of our fallen heroes, and betray the blood of those who stood to defend Nigeria’s unity." The FVSV warned that releasing Kanu under political pressure would amount to mocking the sacrifices of Nigeria’s security personnel and innocent citizens who lost their lives defending national unity. Those 2 lines gave them off completely, an average Igbo man will hardly talk about the unity of Nigeria when complaining about injustice, looks so much like a paid script, We know the people who emphasize more about the unity of Nigeria than peace and justice..

Politics › Re: What Is The Usefulness Of Political Parties In Nigeria? by Brendaniel: 6:51pm On Oct 19, 2025 |
Nefort: I am actually wondering about the usefulness of political parties in Nigeria. Sometimes I see people saying APC is better than PDP or PDP is better than APC, but they are all the same politicians switching back and forth between parties. In fact I think political parties in Nigeria are unnecessary distractions that keeps giving Nigerians false hope that a new or repentant party will come up to save the country in every coming election. I think we should just abolish political parties so we can just focus on what the individual politicians have to offer rather than deceiving ourselves that one political party is better than the other. I've suggested the same before, Political parties are like cult groups and cartels in present day Nigeria, so loyalty to to these groups and cartels most time supersedes loyalty to the country, I feel scrapping party system to individual system will be better... |

Putindbutt: Are the innocent ibos not human lives?, northerners have also been victims of their terrorism. Both ipob and Fulani herdsmen are in same WhatsApp group. Stop romanticizing your tribal terror group. 1. If you claim both IPOB and Fulani herdsmen are the same to you, show one comment of your asking the FG to arrest their leader and prosecute him like MNK and also banning open their activities all over Nigeria. 2.If you claim to love the Igbos this much, why are you not supporting for an Igbo man to ever president in Nigeria? 3. I'm not justifying any killings whether from IPOB or Fulani herdsmen, however I don't believe a lot of news that puts some killings on IPOB because I know the kind of FG we are dealing with |
