I am actually wondering about the usefulness of political parties in Nigeria. Sometimes I see people saying APC is better than PDP or PDP is better than APC, but they are all the same politicians switching back and forth between parties. In fact I think political parties in Nigeria are unnecessary distractions that keeps giving Nigerians false hope that a new or repentant party will come up to save the country in every coming election. I think we should just abolish political parties so we can just focus on what the individual politicians have to offer rather than deceiving ourselves that one political party is better than the other.
