Malix:Why not put them here for everyone to know? |
Yards:Yards, What do you think about the newly introduced EOS Coin? Bitfinex has included it on its list. Do you see any future in the coin? Is it worth investing? |
Mikkyjay17:This is how I fund my account with Bitcoin.. I buy bitcoin from a site here in Nigeria (Nairaomm.com) . So if you are that serious, go online and browse about them. there are many others who sell but I do through them alone. |
Mikkyjay17:You opened a coinbase account today, that means you already have a bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum wallets. just look for how to fund them. |
AXYZ:Guy, we are saying the same thing... Ordinarily, it is supposed to buy fractions, but most people i have come across with refuse selling. |
AXYZ:Its supposed to be like that, but most people don't sell such amount, at least for now. They want to sell $100 upwards. $50 is a good deal though, so still try your luck from people, you may find some willing to sell for such amount. |
jaychubi:Hey, it's market... and it fluctuates.. Yes, I wrote 95 but it was actually 84. Its 112 today, tomorrow it might go down further or even come up to 20. XDN was 60 last week, yesterday it was 115 and today its gone up to 95, So what are you saying? Please, try to follow the market capitalization and understand.. Its subject to demand and supply.. Try to follow coinmarketcap or coincap.io |
Yards:Good... Secondly, should we create a whatsap group where we can help ourselves on cryptocurrency ? Some have been asking about being put through and even myself don't know that much, so what do you think? |
Yards:Guy, I just opened an account with Bitfinex just like you directed yesterday but doesn't know the procedures about the site, especially how to get my wallet address, and the buying stuff.. kindly do a detailed description pls. Thanks. |
BAILMONEY:I am not.. Just trying to get involve in it and know it, while I gather all the knowledge about it and also gather some for future sake. |
Yards:Please do, I am more than waiting... What do you think about what I wrote concerning Voxels? |
BAILMONEY:That's how I said in January about ethereum after it crashed last year and Monero, today those coins have made some people very rich. Anyway, its not meant for everyone. For something to jump from 250 to 95 and as I type this it's on number 84... Then its worth it. It is called investment I.e, you put money today to reap later and not that very day. |
Malix:For everyone that has been following this thread, if you are interested and have some money to buy VOXELs, I would advise you go for that coin now. At the beginning of June, I was watching videos on YouTube on coins to invest in and I came across a particular guy who projected that a particular coin will do well in June. As at that time, the coin VOXELS was at number 250 (on the third page) on the coin market table. Just this morning I checked again, and it has come from 250 to occupy the first page of first 100 coins on the table. It is now on number 95. It is still less than a Dollar. So investing in it now will do you all good in a year's time. Thanks. |
Malix:Wow, that's nice... I should do that then. Thanks |
Malix:I more interested in it too.. but I don't know how to get their wallets. The coin just came in this week and chanced so many others and occupied a very good position on the coin market table.. Anyone who knows how to get this coin (IOTA) should help us please... |
Najwal:God bless you very much... I registered with Luno on their web account.. While trying to put all my details, i saw where my BVN number was required, that made me stopped.. You know nah. |
owunabastard:Litecoin is also a good one but i didn't buy it because its about N9000. That 9k i will buy bitcoin and swap for currencies that are less than a dollar and sometimes that 9k can give me from 500 upwards of a particular currency. For example, if i buy 9k worth of bitcoin now, i will swap for dogecoin and siacoin... i may get up 1000 dogecoin and same amount for siacoin, with just that 9k. I mine Litecoin myself but its stressfu and every week i get 500,000 litoshis from my mining, which is about 50 -100 Naira. Nevertheless, litecoin is a very good coin so if you have the money, go for it.... you won't regret it. |
Najwal:I still don't understand how to trade on bittrex.. Good news is, the coins were finally exchanged and I got them into my wallet yesterday.. So it ended well. Also I learnt a new lesson that if I want a my transactions to be fast, I have to increase my transaction fees.. Its takes few minutes if done that way. |
Najwal:I have account with Bittrex, but i dont know how to trade on it.. could you give a detail explanation on how to go about it please? I have some some coins there while i am still gathering others there. |

Just go through from the beginning of this thread... Read through. What I do is buy Bitcoin and exchange them for other coins. The coins I am focusing now is Monero, ripples, Steem, DigitalNote, NEM, Ethereum and Ethereum Classic.. Among these I listed, only Monero and Ethereum are much more over my budget, but I buy and store them as I can get. The rest coins I get get them after buying Bitcoin if 8k (0.01) and exchange for the rest, since they are still below a dollar.. |
felictorx:Go to bittrex . com you will get all the wallets there except Bytecoin. Please OP, how can I get IOTA and Bytecoin wallet? These coins are very cheap now and I think they very have good prospects in Years to come. They also have good Market capitalization standing.. IOTA was just released few days ago |
Kcight:Hello, i got to know about Cryptocurrency this Year, precisely in January and up till today i have not forgiven myself for not knowing about it like 4 years ago when i had enough money but education, professional certificates, msc took my money.. I regret spending my time only on the front page of Nairaland when they were other pages like investment/business careers etc. What am i trying to say? If i had known about cryptocurrency 4 years ago and used just 200k to buy bitcoins, by now i would have been a big time millionaire. Now, to answer your question, since you do not know much about cryptocurrencies (i am also learning everyday), Focus ONLY on BITCOINS & ETHEREUM for now. Go to Blockchain.info or Coinbase.com and open your accounts (it's free).I use coinbase because of Ethereum, though i also have blockchain where i just store my bitcoin for future. and also i have bittrex account since bittrex have wallets for over 300 coins. Look for some genuine sellers and buy. Be careful because there are so many evil people out there who don't have conscience and looking for who to swindle. So be careful. Buy bitcoins and exchange for ethereum.. Ethereum will give you quick money by December of this year if you start gathering now. The one i bought for 63k two months ago is about 200k now if i decide to sell, but nope i am not selling. Price is expected to rise and its still rising big time. For the OP of this thread, Please kindly explain in details how to buy coins from Poloniex and other exchange sites. It will be a great help because i also dont know how to do this. I buy my bitcoins from a Nigerian site and i know it will be cheaper buying from these exchanges because they use the official rate. Thanks |
ekwii:Litecoin is a good investment but you will need patience cos no one knows when it will skyrocket. but now that it is still cheap (about 9k Naira) you can buy.' Try others like Stellar Lumens, Ripple, ETC, DigitalNote (very cheap for now), NEM and others that still below a dollar. but before you buy, PLEASE read about their future potentials on googles. You can type on Google ,''will DigitalNote, Litecoin, ETC, lumens ever get to $100? etc.. That's how I do my research on coins before thinking of which to buy. Yesterday while browsing and watching online videos on YouTube, someone said this coin ''Voxels'' will do very well in June. Funny enough the coin isn't on the first or second page of coin market capitalization table.. But sine he is an expert, I may try to give it a trial. its also very cheap. |
galaciousbabe:My sister, let me tell you the truth as a fellow lady, all those people out there who say grow your bit coins with our systems are all fake.. I have lost quite a number of Bitcoin to them. My advise is that you keep buying your coins and storing them. Don't put them in any schemes that promise to help you grow them. I learnt in a hard way... |
Yards:I swapped Bitcoin for ether yesterday on Changelly and up till now I haven't gotten my ether. Now I feel I should have used Shape shift. Will I get my my Bitcoin or ether back? Also, how do one buy from poloniex pls? The procedures involved. Thanks |
Chidoskey59:Check www. nairaomm. com I buy my bitcoin from them and they also also sell RMB. So you can give them a trial |
omotech:Few years ago, something changed the world we live in presently, and that is the internet... few years after, another thing came up, and that is cryptocurrency.. cryptocurrency is a virtual money, you don't see it. The Bitcoin we know today is one of the many cryptocurrency we have flooded on the internet. its the major one. You can trade in it and buy goods with it. So many advanced nations have endorsed it for usage. Now, when Bitcoin came into existence almost a decade or about 13 years ago, it was exchanged for even less than a naira. Some people believed in it, others didn't see it as some thing worth having or investing in. Now, those who decided to have bit coins even before it got to a dollar, bought thousands of them and stored up. some bought and later sold them. As the years went by, it started gaining grounds and of course the price started increasing. Now, I imagine a man from Sweden who bought 5000 worth of Bitcoin for $25 in 2009 and forgot about it, only to get wind that Bitcoin had started gaining momentum in 2003. As at that time, the price had gone up drastically... Your guess is as good as mine. In the Nigerian environment, that man is worth is about N3Billion naira today, for something he bought for $25 (N3500) in 2009.. So here is what you should know, the price of Bitcoin is much now, those of us who didn't see the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin when it was cheap can't do it now. This brings us to what I advised the OP. Ethereum is another cryptocurrency that is projected to increase in the next few years. As at January 2017, Ethereum was about $7 (N3150) then for just one... As we speak, its $166 (N70,550)... It will go further before the year runs out. So if you have the money, buy it and store it to sell later. I read yesterday that it will sell for as high as $1000 soon. Also, I read somewhere where one of the gurus in cryotocurrency from Sweden wrote that the price of one Bitcoin may climb to $1M in the next ten years. So imagine if you start gathering them now. There are other coins to invest in... |
slayminder:My fellow Nairalander, my advice would be for you to buy bitcoins and Ethereum... store them and keep. Don't sell them.. By the time you will be in your 300level, those investment would have yielded millions for you. Then you sell just some fractions. Don't put your money inside any thing they promise high payment after three days or thirty days.. They are all scams. Go to Coinbase, or Blockchain, or or any other that provides wallets for Ethereum , open account with them, buy from local and genuine operators, then store in your account. |
richinvestor:Pyment after delivery or face to face transaction in an eatery.... That's if you are in Lagos Do you agree @OP? |
from bitfinix will be creating a new trend on how to get involved soon.
