Another thing that needs to be tackled is the pump guage. How can one buy fuel with his hard earned money and he gets shortchanged with incomplete litres of fuel. It's becoming rampant and laws have to be in place to checkmate these

Mine was Kuda bank. I took an overdraft of 150k and after a year it accumulated to over 200k...like 250k or thereabout. Then the country wasn't smiling.
I've been getting messages from them but on a particular day, one of their agents messaged me about an offer.
I was asked to pay back the principal amount (150k) so the loan can be closed. I had to go borrow money to pay back that amount.
A week later I was messaged again that I still have outstanding of almost 100k. So. I msgd d agent n explained... But he said d msg was not from them. Since then, I just abandoned them. Now. It's been over a year and they say d amount is over 400k..Im sha glad that I've paid the money they lent me shaa

Apt summary! If you're coming to UI, just know you'll be made to offer some undergraduate courses like 5 or so. It's all just prerequisites. But frankly, it's an interesting course.

It's the best thing you can do with your life...

You will be exposed to traditional engineering topics, in fact you will be a 70% mechanical engineer...

Now, the best part of that you will be exposed to various discipline including economics, sociology, psychology, philosophy, accounting, etc...

At the end you will develop an OPTIMIZATION mindset...

Industrial Engineering is all about Optimization, that why you have to learn across disciplines across board...

And because you have that all round knowledge, fit anywhere!!!

I know this because my close friend studied this at UI...

His first Job was as an Investment banker but now he is a Petroleum Engineer..

So go for it!!!

Before you become a registered architect, you have to have your masters in architecture. I k now it's not required now but if coren registered engineers would start civil service at level 12, then coren would want to start requesting msc. They are already requesting pgd for hnd holders by 2021.

I do not think msc is necessary. Professional programme is different from academic one. Nuc/coren can introduce professional master in engineering just as master of public health and msc in public health for heath workers.

I feel coren should be 12 while fresh engineer graduates should be 9. law,architecture , nursing,pharmacy and mls graduates are also placed in 9 after nysc.

If coren has to be level 12, coren would have to raise its bar by requesting msc before applying. I'm sure at some point in the future, this will happen.
