Oshiomole assisted Obaseki to become governor not because he went to school, it was because he was the governor at that time.

Also, Oshomole was able to disqualify Obaseki from the APC primary because he is the APC current chairman. Infact he is the head of the NWC.

So education wasn't a requirement for both actions Oshiomole took

Gov Obaseki didn't manage the situation very well. A little bit of humility and tact could have prevented his troubles.



Even decamping to the PDP may not solve the problems.
There are many politicians who have kept faith with the PDP through thin and thick for years, investing their resources and energy with the hope of clinching the party's ticket and the genuine belief that they would defeat Obaseki of the APC.

Few days to the Primaries, Obaseki now decamp to the PDP and you feel dashing him the Governorship ticket will not generate crisis within the PDP?

The APC will just capitalize on this, buy over the present frontline aspirants in the PDP by promising them Federal appointments (who will leave certainties of the FG appointments for the uncertainties of Obaseki's meagre compensation?) and they will either serve as internal moles in the PDP or rightly decamp to the APC, leaving Obaseki in the cold.

It doesn't matter. Power belongs to the people. Remember how Oshiomole reclaimed his mandate when he was rigged out?

Go and read about a lawmaker in Benue that was arrested last week who also graduated like Obasek and even did his youth service NYSC like your Obaseki but today WAEC has confirmed that he forged the certificate he used to gain admission. Despite his poor grades by today's standards, he got admitted to U.I and has certificate to show for it.
