justi4jesu: Ofcourse driving schools are meant for people who don't know jack about driving that's why it is called a school.
He needs atleast 1hour a day for his classes, some people do 2hours a day which more expensive. So I'll advice him to go for the normal schedules.
Weekdays are cheaper then weekends(Fridays and Saturdays)
As per the price, I'm sure Ajman driving school will be way cheaper than Dubai's that's if they have one. I have no idea
His budget should be from 4000 Dirhams upwards depending on his choice of vehicle, whether Light Vehicle(Automatic/Manual), heavy Vehicles(forklifts etc) and how many times he fails
He will need NOC (No Objection certificate) from his Employer, Emirates ID, Eye Test Certificate.
Payments can be made in installments
Here are the list of recommended Driving institutes to learn how to drive.
Emirates Driving Institute
Belhasa Driving Center www.bdc.aa telephone NUmber:04-3243535

It is best to arrive at your interview 30 minutes before your interview. So in your case, 8:30. Keep in mind that traffic can be very busy depending on when you are traveling. Make sure to allow enough travel time to arrive at or before your interview time.

my dear i have said a whole lot about my Nursing profession in here, i said i am a Registered Licensed Nurse and also a midwife, have also BNSC in Nursing here in Nigeria, i have also said that, the way WES is evaluating some peoples results and transcripts as CIC demanded for the EE program, NNAS is the one that is in charged of Nursing ECA, my dear i know where am coming from and i know where am going okay, you have not helped me in any way, do you really read well of what people wrote at all? before this EE came out this year Nurses have been traveling and settling in Canada, but what made me to ask this Question is how everyone in here is saying their visa office is in Ghana while Canada has an Embassy here in Nigeria, i wanted to know where one could apply for working visa, but i know ur lost about Nursing Profession and their body, so sorry for taking you too far of your level. i can see your Prof in this express entry only, but don't worry anymore Mr. thanks and God Bless solomonwis: @brightooooo, you need to learn how to articulate your thought. I have helped you understand the direction you should be asking questions. I have even asked for the source of the "visa type/class". I can not answer questions I know nothing about.
You seem to have your mind set at something which I do not understand.
So for the umpteenth time,I am going to ask again:
1.What exactly do you want?
2. Do you have a particular class of visa you intend applying for?
3. What steps have you taken to actualize your intention to "go to Canada"?
4. What is your chosen occupation?
5. What educational qualifications do you have?
6.Do you know about IELTS,if so,have you written the test?
7. Do you know anything about educational credentials assessment (ECA)?
8. Do you know about Express Entry?
9. Have you approached any province/territory in Canada or possibility of sponsorship?
10. Have you approached any professional body in your chosen profession about the possibility of gaining practising licence?
11.How old are you or better still, what is your age range?
12. How much do you know about "going to Canada to stay and work"?
Your responses to the above will help anyone respond appropriately to you. |

Hello Mr Solo, should I believe you don't have an answer to my questions? okay, pls if someone is going to Canada to stay and work what type of visa will she apply for and where will it be Abuja or Accra? thanks solomonwis: CRS - Comprehensive Ranking System which details your rank in the pool (score point) pointing to the possibility of your being selected.
ITA - Invitation to Apply - This is an invite sent to you should your application be selected when your CRS is exactly or above the CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by brightooooo: 9:18pm On Mar 28, 2015 |
I really don't know how to put it again, but this is different from EE program, this is for Nurses who are already Licensed in their various countries then want to immigrate to Canada to work, but before you do that, NNAS needs to evaluate your results as WES is doing, if they find you successful the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) will send your report to the province you choose to be Licensed to practice, practice is to work you know, then in each province they have Registered Nurses body like, Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia Nurses Association of New Brunswick College of Nurses of Ontario College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia. then if for example i choose Alberta, NNAS will send my report to them asking them to take the final decision, that for them NNAS i Qualified, if am also Qualified to Register to write NCLEX under the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta within months of my arrival, then after that i will be fully permitted to work. you can see am not going to study i can even choose to write the NCLEX Exam that same month pending on the date i arrived there, My question is this, what type of visa do you think i need to apply for with my family? but if you do not understand still, no probs then i have to start from Abuja here. Thanks solomonwis: Apologies for the oversight. However, your question isn't clear enough.
Are you looking to register in your chosen occupation?
Do you have a job offer, hence your question about knowing which visa class/category to apply for?
Are you looking to further your education in Canada?
Please be explicit. |

okay thanks, this is not about studying or gaining admission into school, is about been licensed to practice after looking into my credentials they will issue me temporary license for some months to come write the NCLEX Exam if i pass it i will be fully Licensed to work, that is to say if am qualified to write the Exam, then every province has it own nursing body that says your qualified or not to work in that province, and first step is to evaluate my credentials through National Nursing Assessment Service, that is why i asked if am applying for working visa or for permanent residency? since am not gonna come back i will start work there for sure, am sure i will pass the Exam by His Powerful Grace. Thanks JesusDWay: I don't understand what you mean by going through Nursing body and what type of visa? If you want to further your studies, you get admission into a school there and then apply for study permit through their embassy here in Nigeria |
Travel › Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by brightooooo: 5:41pm On Mar 27, 2015 |
pls don't be upset by my numerous questions, this responses you said here reminded me to ask you this, pls i want to know the type visa i will apply for this! i also want to go through Nursing body apart from EE, there's only one exam that i have to take which is NCLEX if i pass it i will be licensed to practice, so my Question now is which type of visa should i apply for, through Ghana or Nigeria pls? Thanks JesusDWay: The implication is that you should be prepared to pay so much money for school fees if you wanna go via school. Also, from what I've been seeing recently, seem getting a PR is easier via migration programmed like EE than wanting to use school to stay back there, the kind of visa you get after school is post graduate work permit which won't afford you access to what a permanent resident will enjoy. It also usually have expiry date and like a friend of mine, he had to register and paid like 6kdollars for another programme so he can keep extending the visa. Infact, seem it's harder for those who are already there to convert even via express entry, than those applying from outside Canada. If your goal of entering Canada is to later settle there, I may suggest you follow EE through and through cuz, even if you want to school there as a permanent resident, you pay same school fees as an home student however, I won't also discourage you from trying school but be ready to pay. Finally, there's not gonna be any clash or suspicion from the Canadian authorities, they are two separate stuffs and you won't penalized for anything I believe. For school, you apply through Canadian embassy in Nigeria but for migration, it goes to Ghana |

In addition, I have been into my personal business (marketing of petroleum products) for over 5 years now, I have a registered company with all relevant evidences, are my qualified to apply for EE? please I want to know if police certificate is the same as police clearance and also if this police certificate has expiry date, if yes how long does it stay before it expires. please how much does it cost to do this police certificate and also how much does medical report cost here in Nigeria. Is it CIC that will recommend the hospital for the medical report. JesusDWay: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/invitations.asp
a) Police certificates
You will need to get police certificates for you and each of your family members who are over 18(the family part is for those who are married or have a common law partner). You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more consecutive months since the age of 18.
In some countries, it can take a long time to get police certificates. If you did not start the process to get them before you were invited to apply, you should do this right away, so you can submit them before the 60 days are up
b) Since you are not married, then you are a single applicant. You cannot include your parents or siblings, family under CIC means wife and children and as such, the prrof of funds you need is only for you as a single applicant
c) You need six years of related work experience to get the maximum score for points allocated to work experience. The requirement is just one year work experience but for the sake of getting a high score and boost your chances of being selected, you should muster all relevant work experience that you have, which may mean getting the company you worked with in the UK to give you a reference letter that you worked with them for whatever the period is, your position and job duties, the no of hours you work in a week and the annual salary. The reference letter should be on company letterhead with email address, phone number, fax, etc and it should be signed by your supervisor. If you however cant get the letter, you will have to write to them to explain why. Regarding your self-employed details, "you must provide certificate of incorporation of your business or evidence of business ownership, letter of reference from clients, documentation from 3rd party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details, also evidence of self-employed income. Self declared main duties or affidavits are not sufficient evidence of work experience". The quoted is taken from a sample of the document checklist of required documents to be submitted after one might have been invited to apply for permanent residency but i think you ca take a cue from that. |

Please send to brighteche@yahoo.com thanks
Hello all, I just started following this thread again yesterday. Even though I have done my WES and IELTS since last year, I decided to wait for the EE instead of FSWP. I just created my EE profile yesterday and I started swimming in the pool few minutes afterwards. I have been encouraged by all the contributors to this thread and I also want to render the little help I can. I have a very good IELTS material (which I used myself). Its The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS Student's Book with Answers. All the audios for the listening tests and 17 sample videos from live speaking tests are included. You can PM me if you need the materials and I will send you the download link (1GB approximately). Its now your duty to find a way of downloading it. Cheers and goodluck to all. Hello moderator, I think it is better to create a dedicated thread for Express Entry. I can see that someone tried to achieve this in this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/2064942/canada-permanent-residency-express-entry but you redirected the individual to this thread, which is originally for FSWP. Since both FSWP and EE are entirely different, I think it is better all the information relating to each are placed in their respective threads.
|
