*Toyinrayo: Se epo gbigbonan nta si yin lara ni, abi ewo lo de? I'm saying I'll miss my campus and the safety it assures me. No cults, no drama to bother me. Lol, some of us don't have to bribe our professors to give us that grade. Because it's unlegalized. Not saying all the students in naija goes through that. . . .but we both know what goes down in some campuses, dnt we? Meaning, I'm assured that if I finish my education with excellency, I wouldn't have to worry about carrying diplomas around in a country with barely any job to offer.
I know that it's hard to get jobs in US right now, but it's not as bad as Nigeria. I've been to Nigeria. Been to different states. Oh plz,dnt start lecturing me on how good Nigeria roads are. Nigeria got nothing to write about with its dirty roads, but I gotta admit, upper north got sth going on. Lol, it would be a tragedy to wear heels in naija. . . . unless one likes her heels stuck in muddy steeply road.
Lol, dnt let me even get started on the amount of space between cars, the screaming and cursing among drivers while on highway. Can ou truthfully tell me it's safe to drive in Nigeria? Thank you, that's what I thought. Lol, I've been around south/south west Naija.
I thought I was practically cooking the last time I went to Lagos. The buses were packed, so hot, and the screaming and huffing and puffing didn't help either. Thank you lmaoooooo. . . .Malls for me, is a place to shop and interacts with friends. The cafe is lovely, different brands, dressing rooms. Have you been to Ross and Macy's, then you'd know what I mean. Not the kulikuli rip off shops in naija
Is someone bitter? Got nothing to say? when you stop wondering, let me know. . . . By the way, tell me the mall in naija where you there was a sale, and where you can return unwanted goods. I'd so love to visit that mall. arrrg, why you dey put my secret out like that? na dried leaf I dey use. omugo
On a serious note, can every body in Nigeria afford daily toilet paper and tissue paper? Who asked you to give in and type? Give up on yourself. . . .because you've made no point. But it's not too late. I stated what I'd miss and you're bleating. , . .which one concerns you? If all I listed is in naija, simply let me know.
By the way, have you even answered the thread? This bush person don come again. |

Business › Re: Bringing Starbucks To Nigeria? What Do You Think? by bronxdog: 1:36pm On Jan 01, 2009 |
Whats wrong with bringing Starbucks to Nigeria for God's sake? whats wrong with Nigerians?
The problem with Starbucks is it is a coffee shop, it thrives in America/Europe because people need to drink cofee because of the weather - but in this part of the world, it is already hot, so why will you drink cofee in such a rate to make gains?
Nigerians in my opinion just talk out of nothing, nothing and nothing, |
