BusinessWhy You Should Stop Boosting Facebook Ads by Brooke60(op): 10:13am On Aug 09, 2019
When you Boost a post on Facebook, the post is delivered to the News Feeds of users who fit within your general targeting parameters. As noted, clicking the little blue "Boost” button next to a post on your Facebook business Page is easy, and it will see your content reach more people than it would have organically. But the truth is that, unless you're lucky, the majority of those extra viewers aren't likely to respond to your content in a way that'll make a significant impact on your business.

In a sense, by simply boosting posts, you're not leveraging the full power of Facebook’s advertising system.

Instead of boosting your Facebook posts, consider creating promoted posts using Facebook’s Ads Manager. Through Ads Manager, you'll be able to expand your content's reach, while also capitalizing on better targeting, more features, and higher contention for space via Facebook’s ad auction.

Taking the extra step to promote posts through Ads Manager can go a long way in terms of results, so it is highly recommended

BusinessSocial Media Tips For Business Starters. by Brooke60(op): 4:06pm On Aug 07, 2019
[b]So you want to take your business online? The truth is that, don't expect any miracle for your business. It is a gradual process. You need to have a solid social media presence so that people can trust you. They need to see consistency before they can do business with you. However, the following tips will help your business online :

Know your Target Audience and Market.
You can have a 100% fantastic product and still not sell if you are advertising to the wrong people that don't need your products.

Find out what Social Media Platform your Target Audience uses the most and capitalise on that.
For Example: If your target audience is young and very social, you can use Instagram and Facebook
If your target audience is business-minded people, you can use LinkedIn. Etc

Use the Same Handle on all your Social Media Platforms, and use a Professional Personal Picture on your Profile, not products pictures, it gives you more credibility.

Develop a Strategy on what to post and how to post to get the attention of your audience, it shouldn't always be about your products, post something your audience can relate with that can start up a conversation in the comment section, the more engagement on your post the more you're seen

Don't Sell, Tell Stories.
Post Stories about your products, testimonies and feedback from clients, people relate more to stories, they don't like to be sold to.

BusinessWhy You Need A Clickable Whatsapp Link In Your Bio by Brooke60(op): 7:21am On Aug 07, 2019
You need to make life easier for your customers. There must be ease in doing business with you.
Being able to just click the link in your bio and be directed straight to your WhatsApp number to chat with you is the real deal.

I don't want to come to your profile and I have to start looking for pen and paper to write your number to contact, It is tiring.

While doing that I will see another vendor that has a clickable direct link and chat with them directly.

Also as good as DMs are, let's be real, you can't always be on Instagram and the notifications don't work as good as WhatsApp.

It's better for you to provide a premium means of communication for your customers to contact you.

BusinessAudience Targeting That Can Make Or Break Your Sponsored Ads by Brooke60(op): 1:11pm On Jul 30, 2019
If you are selling baby products for example, and all your posts/ads are being seen mostly by single ladies ... there is a serious problem ...
.
In online sales, being able to reach the right audience is very important, the importance cannot be overemphasized...
.
Only when the right people see your content, can you then think of how great and catchy your content is.

You must take out time to understand who your ideal client is and what makes them tick, where you will find them, what are their social behaviours, what are their likes and hates, what stimulates them, what's their typical response to certain issues ....etc ...
.
See, getting constant and steady good sales online does not happen by accident, you have to be deliberate in doing somethings and if you don't do you don't get results ...and if you don't know what to do nko?. You have to learn at all times. Read More on my Last Post.

BusinessSecrets Of Facebook Sponsored Ads by Brooke60(op): 12:14am On Jul 29, 2019
Running Facebook/IG ads can be frustrating especially if you keep spending money with results. The fact is that if you get your targeting wrong, then there is no hope for your adverts.

Targeting is one of the most important things you must get right.

There are 3 targeting options:

You either target by :

1. Interest.

2. Demographics.

3. Behaviours.

Targeting by interest is what you can do on Instagram when you use the promote post button, you can’t really target with the important demographics and behaviours.

Even at that, interest targeting on Instagram is very limited. So, it is advisable you target through Facebook Ads Manager.

Ideally, when targeting you should use a combination of both interest, demographics and behaviours. This will push your ads to your main audience.

In case you are asking what targeting is, it means the instruction you give Facebook/Instagram who and who they should show your sponsored ads to. If you don’t do that and your ads are not shown to those that need your kind of products and the purchasing power to buy it, you may just be wasting the money you pay for the sponsored ads.

BusinessHow To Run Facebook/Instagram Ads That Will Convert To Sales by Brooke60(op):
You need to stop spending so much on Facebook ads without making sales

If you are selling Baby products and all your ads/ posts are being seen mostly by single ladies, there is a serious problem. You are showing your ads to the wrong audience. I am here to give you some tips on how to run Facebook/Instagram Ads that will convert to sale without spending much.

1. Set Your Customer Avatar: Who are you selling to? What are you selling? Where are your customers? You should have a defined audience. E.G If you are selling women stuffs you should define them by "23-55, Lagos, Women only, working Class, Fashion as Interests" e.t.c. This will make your ad to get to your target audience who are really interested in what you are selling. Avoid Broad targeting.

2. Edit Placement: In running ads on Facebook, make sure you edit all the Placements to Facebook Feeds/ stories and IG feeds/Stories alone. This will make your ad budget effective.

3. Make Sure of Custom Audience (For website owners): If you are a website owner, make sure your Facebook pixel is installed and effective. Through Facebook Pixel and events, you can target people who visited your page without taking action, people who visited your page in the last 30, 60, or 100 days e.t.c. This will allow you to keep pushing your products in the face of your warm/cold audience who will eventually take action by contacting you.

4. Your Content: Your content should be tailored to the age group you are targeting. If you are targeting Slay Girls with 'Big Big Grammars' like Peter or Wole Soyinka, It won't work. They should be able to relate to the story you are telling. Just Like AIRTEL ads series (My favourite), they are connecting the old ways of doing things to the new ways. We all can relate to it and that is why we like it. Just like Indomie too, they target the Kids with 'Kids song -like'. The kids at the end disturb their parents for Noodles.

Bottom Line is that you must target your audience with the right content to connect with them. Bring out people's emotion with your message or Offers.

5. Promote Your IG Ad through Facebook: Some people make use of 'promote' button on IG. Phewww! Total waste of money. Using thr Promote button on IG cant's give you a detailed targeting. Make use of AD MANAGER. You can target people through 'Interests, Behaviours, Demographics e.t.c.

Nice tips. But, not explicit enough. You focused on the people who actually "sell" and not people who render services. I'm a photographer. @timagex photography. How do I entertain customers without making the page less professional? I need responses please...
You can share viral videos on your page as well, write short educative contents on how to take selfie, the benefits of lights in pictures e.t.c.

BusinessThis Is Why You Are Not Making Sales On Social Media by Brooke60(op): 12:17pm On Jul 14, 2019
Many people come to me and complain about not making sales on Social Media despite the fact that they post almost every day. Even when you've found the perfect social media platform to engage your target audience, your marketing efforts may not be effective if none of them has heard of you before.

Below are some of the reasons you are not making sales:

1. Your Business is too *Salesy*: Visiting your page, what will I Find? Only your Products? Every time, come and buy. Did you put money in my account? Why can't I come to your page and be entertained, educated and informed while you are still selling your products? In short, your page must not be about your business alone.

2. No hashtag: Some online sellers don't make use of a hashtag, especially on Instagram. Using relevant, targeted hashtags on your posts and stories is still one of the best ways to get discovered by new audiences on Instagram. And this can translate into more engagement, more followers, and more customers for your business.

3. No Reviews: You need to post what people are saying about your business. It might be about fast delivery, about your customer service and even about the effectiveness of your products. Are you into fashion? Let people snap and send to you. Sometimes, you may have to tell your customer to say one or two things. Posting Reviews eliminates Scam from the mind of prospecting customers. They tend to trust you more and want to buy from you.

4. No Humanization: You need to humanize your business. Your business needs to feel what people are feeling. Is the Country sad about any event? Your business should also be sad (Post about it), is the country Happy? Your business must be happy. Did the country lose a match? Post about this. Is there an election? Pray for a successful one. Muslim Celebration? Celebrate your Muslim Customers. This should also be the same with all the public holidays in the calendar.

5. No Advert: This is so funny. Why won't you run sponsored ads? MTN, GLO, AIRTEL and even Banks are always running ads to stay in the face of their customers but you don't run ads for yours? How does it work? You should always have a monthly budget to run ads for your business. There are many competitors and you should always be ahead of them.
