I have mentioned long before now that Seplat is a peaceful stock for me, without the crazy & frenzied volatility of Oando which i exited earlier in the year to top up the Seplat. Four dollar denominated dividends already paid so far this year plus astonishing year-to-date growth with peace of mind, what else could anyone ask for?

You're overlooking the fact that OANDO was significantly undervalued due to the fear of delisting, with ₦7 being the reference point. Once those delisting concerns eased, the subsequent price movement was expected.

The next catalyst was the official NAOC acquisition, and the upcoming wave will be their H2 results. Additionally, don't rule out the possibility of further acquisitions.

I bought for 1150 last night at that filling station on Admiralty way, close to Ikoyi link bridge .

The people buying are most likely new or institutional investors who now believe in the future prospects of Oando

How many people were willing to sell at N5?
Volume is determined by sellers when they feel the price is right.

Oando traded 93.8m shares worth N6.8b. Clearly institutional buyers at play. Probably Wale himself was buying.

If Wale is the one buying, then it would be wise to hold onto the units I have. This indicates that he values each share more highly than the current trading price on the floor.

Have you appraised the level of damage and rehabilitation needed, or are you only seeing the share price of Oando? Oando's outstanding shares are 12,431,412,481. At ₦70 per share, it's worth ₦870,198,873,670, which is just $580,132,582 (rate $1,500). How much did Dangote use to build a new refinery? And what percentage of that do you think will be needed to rehabilitate these ones that have been left fallow for more than 30 years?

This is why the $1 goal makes sense. watch and see
