I thought Redmi note 11 starts at 179 dollars?

Without AMOLED and some other downgrade, Redmi 10C should be around 150 dollars.

just saying.

YOU will not get any labeled Agricultural lime. Just go to a paint store (those selling paint formulation chemicals) and ask for calcium carbonate. It's around 1k to 1.5k

thanks so much

what we noticed is that a good nematicides will control not only nematodes but visible insects like cucumber bettles, hoppers, caterpillars for 20_30 days,,but during dry season like now the insect attack has moved to the microscopic level, you will have a full insect invasion and you will barely see them,i highly doubt if nematicide can control spider mite, broad mite, thrips, whitefly, aphids, these are the common insects during dry season and they are the most difficult to eradicate.,
can i have your WhatsApp number?

Well done sir.
Your tomato seedlings are looking healthy.

... before transplanting, ensure you treat your soil against soil pathogens (fungi, bacteria and nematodes)
can you help with how to treat the soil before planting?

Nematicide application, three finger grip will do for each hole@30cm interval. 1 sachet for one plot, using myself as an example,I will do 6000 stand maximum 4hours.

after applying the nematicide before planting, is there any other thing to be applied weekly for disease prevention after planting?

A total of 50 bags will be used to conduct this organic test.

The cucumbers in the grow trays did excellently well and plans to transplant them into the bags was underway. Everything had to be perfect. grin

Next, we went into the bamboo forest to cut good bamboos for staking the cucumbers. After which trellis were tied and Peggy in each of the bags. The proposed intention is 2 cucumber plants per bag.
sir, is the polythene bags punctured or are they intact such that water doesn't drip out.
how much water do u pour in each polythene everyday?

Padma and platinum F1 are determinate varieties more suited for open-field cultivation, and hence the lifespan won't let you hit the 10kg mark within less than 2 months of harvest before they give up.
If you really want to do greenhouse, then search for indeterminate varieties (just know the seeds are crazily expensive),...
but TOMATO greenhouses in the Nigerian context for a beginner?
Do you really have the capital and CAPACITY to run a successful greenhouse?
Is this the crop that will return the crazy cost of investment on greenhouses?
I hope you have conducted the necessary research needed, don't join the bandwagon of failed greenhouse owners all over Nigeria o
Ok thanks for the info.
I don't have the capital, just gathering info here and there.

Yes, I have heard of Anna F1, a very good variety with resistance to a couple of disease including root knot (to a reasonable extent)

I believe it can be grown in Nigeria, though it performs best in greenhouse and is mainly cultivated by Kenyans.

The tomato variety I planted, if well managed should give you at least 2kg per plant.

I doubt if there's any variety that an give you that amount in open field. That target can only be achieved in a well set up greenhouse (I stand to be corrected)
Ok.
So, in a well managed greenhouse, one can get up to 8 -10kg with padma or platinum f1 ?

I am a novice when it comes to tomatos, but that will soon change because we are doing tomato nursery vnext week for 3 plots of land fully drip irrigated, why don't you play safe and use proven varieties in Nigeria like vplatinum,Padma, cobra, garnhar, jarra,Maxim, sakata emerald, etc
Ok.
But is there any variety being grown in Nigeria that has been proven to yield up to 8 - 10kg of tomatoes per plant?

Na so o, thank you
Have you heard of anna f1?
Do u know if it can be grown in Nigeria
And if there is market for it.
The variety you planted what is the target kg of tomatoes to be expected per plant.
And is there any variety in Nigeria that can yield up to 10kg or more per plant ?
Sorry if i asked too much questions.

we use pig manure as the farm is behind a piggery farm,so the manure is poured in without measurement
ok
have you heard about anna f1 tomatoes?
is it grown in Nigeria?
any difference or advantage over other varieties being grown here like padma?
was browsing when i came across it on Kenyan website.

okoroemeka:
we have done all those crop and beyond, the best crop rfor that size of land with limited care and human interference /management,also gives higer economic output than plantain and all other crop, what you need to look for is the giant Cavendish bananas or saro Cavendish bananas, the economic value of one banana bunch can only be matched by 3-4 plantains.the suckers are more costly for a reason.imagine if you have 200 banana crops like that in the pic, each bunch is not less than #4-5k.
Please, what type of manure do you use for the banana?
And what quantity do you apply in a month?
Looking forward to your reply.

I like the third, I don’t know what that angle/frame is called- but I prefer snapping my plate from that side. The first two looks like you quickly snapped someone’s food, considering you won’t eat from that angle.

Give me the turkey and hold the rest.

This is for Coco or Prestonn. We all have our area of specialization here. They’ll come through. grin
i know you are busy but i will appreciate it if you can give me steps on how to cook stew. A link to where you posted it will suffice.
thanks in advance.

the moment you sight rain pls plant. people usually say it's doom if you plant your plantains in September because it will meet the dry season and dry up and I'll just laugh at them. I planted two of my plantains i farms last in different locations in the thick of the August break last year. the part farm that got the regime of fertilizer application I explained to you made it through the dry season without breaking sweat with the other barely survived. I lost 80% of that farm berfore the rains began and I had to replant

for fertilizer application, a match box quantity on both sides will be enough every two weeks. but be careful not to apply too near the stem else YOU WILL KILL YOU CROP MOST ESPECIALLY IF DEALING WITH UREA
what type of npk is suitable for plantain ?
also, is it applied together with urea? i will appreciate it if u will guide me on how to go about it
