Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Navvvvvvvvy: Presidency: Unmmmmmmmmm by bruce(m): 7:41pm On Sep 27, 2006
It's unfortunate but we should not allow that to quench our zeal in getting another better chance. Bondxie made a remark of correction, please take note of that and don't refer to yourselves as the culprit, rather the Nigerian Navy is the culprit while you are the victim.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Hotel Test On Tues. by bruce(m): 6:15pm On Sep 14, 2006
, @ Ibimina [of what use is a degree in banking and finance in a customer relation environment?]

Ibimina, if I may also ask you. Of what use are Chemical, mechanical, civil Engineers, etc, geologists, microbiologist and so on to the Banking and financial sector?. If you have any means of helping out, please kindly do instead of asking unwarranted questions.

The trend now does not care what you study but whether you can deliver if given the opportunity.

As a public relation officer you are going to be the image maker of the hotel, more like the marketer. You see to publicities, press release, corporate/official correspondences, customer complaints/suggestions etc, that is, if there is no position like customer relation officer.

I think that's the little I can say.

All the best.

Career / Re: Chief Festus Odumegwu & The Problem With Over-Brilliance by bruce(m): 8:18pm On Aug 28, 2006
I think I agree with you on this problem of over-brilliancy with some people looking down on others and taking undue advantage of their positions to cause psychological damage to those not up to their standard. However, in advising others ( maybe our children) we should be careful not to give them a wrong impression about studying hard in order to emerge the best.
