Politics › Re: PDP Behind Fuel Scarcity - Tinubu by Brugo(m): 10:44am On Apr 04, 2016
Very true. Why?

Most of the oil merchants were beneficiaries and sympathizers of the PDP administration. They enjoyed fraudulent subsidy payments.

These people already have enough to fall back on. It doesn't bother them to hoard the product or to stop importation just to frustrate citizens and make excessive gain.

Bunch of criminals.
Celebrities › Re: Linda Ikeji To Wizkid: ‘before I Mess Up Your Career, I’ll Leave You Alone’ by Brugo(m): 10:29am On Apr 04, 2016
Lol. We all know that she does not have the power to wreck his career. He has reached a point in his career where a little effort produces massive rewards. She just wants an easy way to escape the insults.

Wizzy was financially irresponsible by acquiring liabilities instead of assets. But that is solely his own business. Bloggers are lucky that Nigerian celebrities hardly sue them for defamation.
Politics › Re: Obama Praises Buhari At Nuclear Summit In Washington by Brugo(m): 8:54am On Apr 02, 2016
Hmmm, "he is doing a good job". Obama certainly did not even mistakenly say this about the ineffectual buffoon even with all of Jona's àss licking. I would like you all to observe that the statement was impromptu and made in passing before "show time". This makes it more believable that Obama meant those words.

But wait o, abi Obama don join APC for propaganda tins? Wailers, how far? I remember even the PDP grudgingly admiting that Buhari was a man of integrity during the campaigns leading to the general elections. How do people mock men and women of integrity? By saying stuff like: "sorry o, S.U.", "Good boy", "Saint", "hmmm, Angel Gabriel". It is interesting that this was the very same sentiment of the PDP earlier in this administration."Buhari wants to appoint saints as ministers". "We are waiting for the ministerial list of Angels".

Instead of you PDP youths to bury your heads in shame because of the legacy of 16 years of misrule, you are here on Nairaland promoting hate and bigotry.

Well, 2019 is still a long way coming. Try not to hurt yourselves before then.

Baba, you are doing a good job jare. God bless you.

Career › Re: We Know Its Corporate Slavery, Yet We Stay by Brugo(m): 8:20am On Apr 02, 2016
Smilenw:
I have said it before and will say it again...Nigerians (for now let's stick to the ones on this forum) are a proud bunch who loves to complain at the drop of a hat . I'm beginning to suspect if its the food, air, modern education or the exposure to technology that has turned this generation to something so terrible. They can't frame a sentence in proper English, spend all their waking hours bragging about things they have barely experienced, while away their life living off one rich/well to do relative, believe they have a luxurious life ahead without moving as much as a small finger for it and blame all and sundry except themselves when they fail to achieve something that remotely resembles a decent life.
An employable youngster in Nigeria is becoming more like a myth. Even if the person is educated , he or she will be greedy, egoistic and lazy.I can vouch for the fact that 95% who commented on this thread are not employed. The long narrative describing how I thrashed him, how I put him in his place etc are nothing but figments of imagination. The minute they start their work after years of unemployment will be the minute they start comparing themselves to their bosses. The very man who gave you a chance suddenly becomes your opponent. When you misbehave, its called self respect , putting him in his place, blah blah blah. When the man who has built an organization toiling day and night asks you for something ,he becomes the rude despicable monster. In the OP's story wasn't the OP daft too? Who would t listen to your boss' personal phonecalls? Weren't you taught about privacy ? As if that is not enough this guy kept playing and replaying imaginary scenes in his mind each time he was asked something. I can only imagine what the Oga would have felt. Someone who found time to drink cups of coffee should have definitely found time to munch something, but no ..he wont as he is busy playing the victim. A man is enjoying his AC with the money HE EARNED after going through God knows what, but this fool here compares his own Air conditioner with his oga's within the first month of being employed. How many of you here, including the OP, would give up your own AC and other luxuries for your employees or for that matter your loved ones ? :/ Nobody, I repeat, nobody is born with the perfect life. If they've got the money, they would have some other issue. Learn to turn your disappointment into a blessing.

Edited : I took the pain to go through your previous posts OP. You are one haughty egoistic selfish being with worrisome temper issues. I'm sure you are still single or will soon be one with this attitude of yours.
Lol. You even had the time to go through his previous posts? Wow. If you were a boss, your employees would be in the cross hairs everyday.

Perhaps you have never worked in an organisation where employees are treated like human beings with dignity and worth. As long as he provides value to your company, you are expected to reward your employee with good working conditions, not condescending innuendos or outright insults. An employee that is harangued everyday at work would do only what is required and nothing more. He would never contribute more than he is paid to do even when he sees that the timely extra unsolicited effort would put the company ahead of competitors.

I still believe in treating my employees (even I.T students) like humans who have personal dignity. You'd be surprised how much they would sacrifice for your company even without asking.

It isn't. That scripture says to verify before believing and publishing. SR, apparently, didn't do that!
You really expected them to mention the name of the source before you could deem it verified? Bro, any whistleblower would ask to remain anonymous.

You have a point though, looking at it from the scriptural angle.
Christianity Etc › Re: Crisis Hits CAN Over Oritsejafor's Plan To Rig Election For Preferred Candidate by Brugo(m): 10:55am On Apr 01, 2016
odeotito:
No. I did not. I meant to call your attention to the yellow variety of journalism SR opted for in publishing the supposedly newsworthy piece. The source is anonymous and therefore unverifiable. You get my drift?
This still doesn't explain why you quoted that Scripture. The Scripture is quite unrelated to the issue discussed.

Just look at the misguided young people vilifying SR for calling out an erring public figure. The fact that he is a Christian certainly does not make him untouchable. That is not the Gospel Jesus preached. This man is a politician just like those in Abuja. He must not be spared the criticism when he does the wrong thing.

Some of you in leadership positions in your churches know of (and are involved in) the politicking that goes on right there in the Church. Stop acting like sycophants.
Politics › Re: Kaduna Preaching Bill: Resolving The Constitutional Controversy (1) ...punch by Brugo(m):
The reason for the bills was the Islamic fundamentalism and extremism by the Maitasine and other dangerous groups. This is not aimed at stifling Christians. It provides regulation for both religions which have a history of bitter clashes.

There are many intolerant religious preachers in Kaduna and the North in general. This will help to rein them in. You cannot just ask for the freedom to incite hatred for people who are not of your religion. That would be unconstitutional because then you would be attacking the freedom of religion that the constitution guarantees.

Lol. There was "blood everywhere..." You mentioned this twice. cheesy brother, you have blood o. cheesy

Once upon a time, during holiday lessons (SS1 or so) I played monkey post with my friends. I was about to take a powerful shot on goal when one boy just came out of nowhere and blocked my shot with his sole. Instead of the ball, I unfortunately kicked the underside of his foot. Chai! I felt a sharp pain in my big toe and I just sat down on the field jejely. I tried not to cry in the presence of the girls watching us play. grin O boy, it wasn't easy.

Let us be honest here. Jonathan dragged this project because it was part of the bait to garner votes from you Igbos. It is curious that he took on the name Azikiwe just before commissioning. GEJ scammed you lot and you fell for it.

Blame your brother. Ask him for the project schedule. How much has been released and what scope should the initial sum cover?

Victim mentality makes your case weak. Begin to direct the right questions to the right people.

Government is not obligated to sponsor the projects of these women cos there is no Office of the First Lady. I won't be surprised if she used her personal money to buy these things.

Besides, can anyone show me pictures of PEJ donating relief items to any IDP camp? Let's start from there.

Those girls whey Shekau1 show for him video whey dey recite Quran nko? Abi those ones be Chile girls?

What of the claim made by one retired American Ambassador to Nigeria as regards these girls?

Were their names not verified with WAEC?

Must we politicize everything?

Uncle Fayose, why are you like this?
He believes can fabricate whatever lie he likes cos of his immunity. He is stretching the limits. Well, what else would you expect from a desperate man? He knows that Ekitigate won't go away. He just wants to smear APC to distract the citizens.

This is his chance to be a sterling governor, working with really scarce resources to run his state. He won't do that though because he believes in corruption. Only a good administrator can handle that state in this dispensation and Fayose is not that man. Well, let's see if Ekiti people will realize their grave mistake.
