Romance › Re: Problems Faced By Lagos Single Rich Guy by Brugo(m): 9:39am On Jul 07, 2015
Bro, rich guys (cute or not) never lack women. That is a fact. The question is "do they have good women around them?"

Yes they do. Cos good women are attracted to rich guys as well. Okay, so it's like looking for a needle in a haystack but that doesn't mean the needle is not there. Finding a woman who'd love you and not your wealth is rare cos your wealth is a prominent part of who you are.

Just try not to "spoil" your ladies all the time. Not every apology should attract a gift or treat. Not every event (birthday inclusive) should involve much spending.

One more thing any girlfriend who has the boldness to call you stingy is not worth it.

Romance › Re: Why Is Lesbianism Tolerable Than Male Homosexuality by Brugo(m): 9:16am On Jul 07, 2015
firstEVA:
A lot of men desire a threesomee, so imagining two girls making out is a major turn on for them. in essence many men love lesbians. But no sane person male or female want to imagine what two men do in the closet, the thought is nauseating. I personally have nothing against lesbians, cos firstly they don't disgust, secondly they can be easily corrected. Call me a hypocrite, it's your business.

Sweetie, our elders say what is good for the goose is good for the gander o.

It is still quite disturbing but not a disgusting as that of males. Well in the eyes of the law they are still liable to 14 years as well as their male counterparts. 50 - 50 no cheating.

OrlandoOwoh:
If those paraded can prove their innocence in the court, they may sue the Police for smearing their images.
Do you sincerely believe this damage control is more effective than prevention?

Have you ever visited prisons on humanitarian or religious missions? The prison authorities will tell you boldly that majority of their inmates have not been tried. Yet many of them have spent 5 or more years awaiting trial. They are transfered to other prisons outside the states of their arrest and the cases are forgotten while the "suspects" continue in incarceration.

That is the justice system you want these men to submit themselves to.

These suspects are mostly ignorant about their rights and they hardly hire lawyers, trusting in the dubious impartiality of our courts. Should the police be allowed to interrogate a suspect in the absence of his lawyer?

Even if a confession is obtained, they have the right to dignity to avoid such parades until they are pronounced guilty.

Under police torture, you would confess to killing Princess Diana even if you were just 7 years old when she was assassinated.

I remember the narration (on Nairaland) of that man pardoned from death row who was tortured into confessing then sentenced to death. The "interrogators" pulled out his fingernails and toenails until he agreed then the judge (who may not have known about the torture behind the cofession) slammed him the ultimate penalty. That is Nigeria Police for you.

The police disgust me with their brazen lies and hypocrisy. IGP Arase said no one should tempt his men with bribes yet he knows that anyone who refuses to bribe his men could be shot and framed as a robber.

Until our policemen start serving life imprisonment for extrajudicial killing, bribery will remain the "right" of these so-called law enforcement officers.

OrlandoOwoh:
Social media have become a where ill-informed people display ignorance. The people paraded were not addressed as criminals, which would have been wrong, but as suspects.
What if you were accused and paraded as a robbery suspect? You know you're innocent but the Police has smeared your name. Would your right to personal dignity be untouched by the parade? A suspect is INNOCENT until he/she is found guilty by the court. The damage is extensive.

Suicide attack is different from head on battle. You can crush an enemy that shows up in battle but how do you crush suicide attacks without declaring martial law and endless curfew?

Family › Re: My Wife Shows No Affection by Brugo(m): 9:51am On Jul 05, 2015
Bro if she were just a girlfriend I would have told you to dump her immediately. But this is your wife. She is gradually conditioning you to beg for affection. Your self respect will be seriously bruised if you beg.

You know what? Try not to burn yourself out. Stop pouring affection into a bottomless pit. Focus on your kids instead. Whenever you need sex, have it with her. Enjoy yourself. Don't expect affection from her and don't give what would not be appreciated. If she doesn't change then don't change.

Life is too short to be burning out because of a wife that frustrates your love.

Family › Re: MY BROTHER IS Cheating On His Wife by Brugo(m): 6:16am On Jul 05, 2015
He said his brother's wife is cool with him. How many wives can tolerate their brother in-law staying with them? The OP has a good reason to be worried on behalf of the woman.

Those of you insulting the OP and asking him to mind his business are hypocrites. If your wife (or husband) were cheating on you, wouldn't you like to know? Do you know how many wives and husbands have been infected by unfaithful spouses? Would you like to continue in oblivion? It is obvious you lot don't mind cheating on your partners.

Someone said the OP should not break his brother's home. That home is already broken. The husband has brought a strange woman into the mix.

Yourman, summon up courage and talk to your brother. The fact that he has the guts to call his side chick in your presence means he doesn't regard your opinion in most things. However, don't let this hang over your conscience. Tell him that you are aware and that it is sad that his wife is sharing him with another woman. You must seek to help him save his marriage.

If you pretend like nothing is wrong and he continues this wickedness, soon he will become careless and the wife would find out. It will happen because no one is a perfect cheat and then problem will start.

If you think you shouldn't talk to him so that you can continue staying in his house and eating his food, then be assured that his home is not a permanent place for you. Anything can come up that would make him ask you to leave later on. The accommodation is not sure.
