Crime › Re: Abia Commissioner Allegedly Rapes 11 Year Old Housemaid To Death by Brugo(m): 10:07am On Mar 18, 2015
Even if the commissioner doesn't try to influence the case I am sure the police will still throw it out the window. The Nigeria police protects the politicians and bullies the citizens.

Money would have greased the palms of officers by now. Soon they will arrest some members of the girl's family for "investigation".

We need a new leadership in Nigeria. We need a government that will make corrupt police officers tremble with fear.

Ikwokrikwo:
Rubbish.
Where were you when Tinubu and Osinbajo went to get the courts to stop AIT from airing their documentaries?
Are their own corruption unimportant.
None of the nonsense you wrote above proves than any money is missing from NNPC or that Allison stole it.
Lol. I thought you'd have learned to address an issue without mudslinging. cheesy

I expected too much from you.
Politics › Re: Missing $20bn: Alison-madueke Sues PREMIUM TIMES, APC, 9 Others by Brugo(m): 8:59am On Mar 18, 2015
Ikwokrikwo:
Did you say this when Tinubu and Osinbajo got the courts to stop AIT from airing well researched and facts filled documentaries?
APC supporters are the biggest hypocrites on earth.
Your media houses keep damaging the image of Alison using false allegations that even Sanusi himself couldn't subsatantiate, the senate investigated and found nothing, a respected auditing firm PWC investigated and found nothing, yet you guys keep talking about it, but you went to the court to stop the airing of well researched documentaries about Tinubu and the pretending crook called Osinbajo.
So opposing barefaced corruption translates into being a supporter of the APC?

If you can observe this nation in comparison with other (prospering) nations and still say that GEJ runs a good government then you have made politics your religion. Only religious adherence can shun truth and logic to believe in the intangible.

This woman has refused to explain what happened to the missing money. Even though the auditors have helped her in reducing the sum from about $10 billion (as quoted by Iweala) to just over $1 billion, she still doesn't give a damn about the citizens she is supposed to serve.

Sanusi was accused and suspended immediately. Stella Oduah was accused but not suspended even during investigation. Alison-Madueke was accused and no suspension followed. They even "investigated" her without asking her to go on suspension. Is this not to allow her cover her tracks?

When you accuse someone of theft before a judge, the defendant is not expected to say "I am not the first to steal o!" or "It didn't start in my time. I inherited it from my forebears." Or even worse, "Oga judge where were you when Mr xyz stole last week?"

Defence is different from mudslinging and both concepts cannot be used interchangeably.

Off the top of my head, i have to admit i don't have that estimate. But, i ask you this; what percentage of the states in Nigeria, do you see or hear that groups of peoples go out murdering citizens en mass because a leader of a religious group to them to?
Since you refused to answer my question I will ask you one more. Can you honestly state that MOST northerners would do the bidding of their imams without a second thought?
Politics › Re: Missing $20bn: Alison-madueke Sues PREMIUM TIMES, APC, 9 Others by Brugo(m): 8:31am On Mar 18, 2015
There is no judiciary in this country. Just a bunch of judges dancing to the tune of PDP. A corrupt official will go to court to stop you from accusing her? Really?

Is there no independent institution/parastatal in this country? We should not call our system of governance democracy please. It is a big insult to the concept.
Nairaland General › Re: Cleaner Gets N7,200 Salary Increment For Returning N12 Million by Brugo(m): 8:17am On Mar 18, 2015
Some of you saying that you would not have returned the money are funny. How would a cleaner like her explain sudden wealth to her friends and family? Eventually the police would find out and it would be terrible.

The owner of that 12 million cash would not mind spending 2 million to track down the thief. We know what our policemen can do with 2 million as incentive. They would sniff her out.

She got almost 50% increase in salary. That is something. In addition, she is now famous. As much as the salary looks paltry, we should consider her job description too. The company she works for rewarded her with a promotion that they didn't prepare for. The owner of the money may have not even paid them a dime in appreciation but they went ahead to do that.

The airport authority that is swimming in scandals and controversy could have used this opportunity to part with some money that would have been embezzled anyway. A one-time reward could transform her life.

Life is not fair sometimes. I'm sure her colleagues will not act honorably like she did because there is apparently little reward.

Assess your generalisation.
Politics › Re: I Trust Buhari But Doubt His Environment - Tunde Bakare by Brugo(m): 6:51am On Mar 18, 2015
Jarus:
You can't get a totally clean environment in Nigeria where 98% of politicians are crooks.

They bring structure to the table as we have seen between CPC of 2011 (without the Tinubus of this world) and APC of today (with Tinubu and co).

When the generally-regarded-as-clean Gani Fawehinmi refused to associate with the crooks by contesting under his own clean party, NCP, in 2003, how many votes did he get?

It leaves us with the character of the candidate again where Buhari stands taller than GEJ.
Bros you have said it all.

Pastor Bakare also said he believes in contact without contamination. I wish Gani had joined forces with a stronger party then. Well, good thing Buhari has done that.

Tinubu does not have a sterling reputation but his environment is still a billion times better than GEJ's.

Kids are too many on front pages these days with immature comments. Some will just pick the headline without digesting the content.

Gen. Obasanjo has not justified the killings by boko haram nor did he condemn the military actions on the sect.

He stated that the carrot stick approach will bring a lasting solution and prevent pyrrhic victory.

Dear kids above, read the sentence below 10 times for effective comprehension and modify your comments.

Thank you.

But why? Someone should please compel this woman to read a well prepared script instead of giving us freestyle. She is harming her party with these unguarded statements.

If you marry a woman who wouldn't listen to you just pray you don't become a public figure. The embarrassment will be grand.
