I want to study med&surg in University of Ibadan. Having followed this thread and Jamb threads, I've learnt some stuffs which might help.

There is no secret than to study hard and smart. Hence, I've struggled to purchase textbooks recommended by successful aspirants (lamlad chemistry, new school physics and modern biology) in addition to essential series at hand.

I've never been a dull student (not bragging pls) but 2020 jamb will be my third try. I was offered a course in 2018 (not U.I though) but I rejected because it wasn't what I want. Not offered anything this year since I didn't meet U.I's cut-off point.

I've started reading since September but I'm not sure if I would be able to finish those textbooks within few months left. Pls how can I achieve this because I'm not a nocturnal person?

I often use CBT practice app but the most frustrating part is that, my score varies after each test. Sometimes; 67, 84, 77, etc. what's really wrong? brain fluctuation? it saddens my heart and makes me less motivated. I want stable 90s and aggregate not less than 330.

I'm not scared of the intensive competition of this course but her requirements of extremely high intelligence and excellent score to secure a slot.

To me if an [b]animal can speak [/b]it should be an animated series.

Guy, that was what I thought at first. I don't have affinity for talking animals. But on getting to later episodes it was uncovered that the relationship between these creatures and their owners has a role in the plot

is Ragnar returning? Please don't raise my hopes oh... I stop following the show when them directors killed off the Show runner — Ragnar. I mean how do you fuckin kill Ragnar? Its like killing Spartacus in Spartacus. To crown it all, I heard some spoilers about the Possible death of my Lagertha. Why the hell will you think of killing Ragnar and then Lagertha?

No character was successfully developed to fill the void left by the demise of Ragnar — not Ivar the boneless, certainly not his dumb brothers nor Bjorn Ironside.

But what do I know? I just like my movies the good old way. Not this new trend of killing off heroes especially in historical dramas

I will humbly state that it's very wrong to use the bolded term for a historical show as Vikings. Ragnar's death was a pinnacle of drama both in reality and in the show. How the young pigs would grunt when they know what the old boar suffers They did not kill off ragnar. His death setup the events that would lead to the climax of the show

1. THEME SONG: This has a major role to play in most of the successful TV shows that have ever aired. GOT, Doctor who and SpongeBob have been popular their theme music

2. CHARISMA of the PROTAGONIST: The likes of Jack Bauer(24), Spartacus (Spartacus), Ragnar(Vikings) fall into this category I just

3. DREADEDNESS of the VILIAN: Be it the witty ones like Ivar(Vikings), Magneto (X-Men franchise), or the apparently invincible ones Night king(GOT), Sailar (Heroes).

4. STYLE of CINIMATOGRAPHY and CONTINUITY'S: Here my favourite is heroes, they display their plot back and forth, show each character's point of view. Breaking Bad has another good style where a brief picture of future episodes is painted on the introduction of each episode. Preacher has something similar to breaking Bad

5. SETTING of PLOT: Setting is the time or drain which the shows plot exists. I for one is a sucker for Medieval events.

6. PROFESSIONAL AFFINITY: How to get away with murder must win the hearts of those in the law profession. There are lots of medical dramas out there,but I was always enticed by the Maester's in GOT.

Back with my little take on breaking bad.... That series is Good won't lie... Has some funny cringe moment....i just finished season 2 and i will say that the hype here is wayy too much for it... I mean WTF.... The series is good but not something that will get me anticipated or something...maybe because it's an oldie cos it's around 2008 that the series came...it's not up to standard of what's in market now.... To think thay someone even quoted me that i will hate power if i watch BB.. haba na.... That person no try ooo... I'm stopping at season 2 joor... Not really mad to my expectations joor... I don't think i want to go far up to season 3 4 5...make i jus wrap am up for 2..but u guys can overhype things here ehnn...
